He slowly stepped out of the cafe searching for her. he looked here and there and saw her still playing with the poor kids! Her giggles..that sounded so musical to his ears. He felt as if he could sit there and listen to her giggles for ever!!!

He hoped the time to stop at that moment..so that he could cherish the beauty of the moment! A cold soothing breeze gushed past him! He wasn't able to see her face clearly from the cafe. So her just walked a few steps ahead and stood rooted!! He gasped seeing her face' geet'.

He stood numb'.motionless. was she really geet he was seeing? He shook his head, rubbed his eyes and even hit himself'.but that lively and bubbly reality in front of him never seemed to change! Giggling away with those kids, straightening her disoriented pallu whilst running, jumping around like kids with that cute long plait of hers swaying in the air'he couldn't take his eyes off her!

she was that strong headed Prez, wasn't she? She was that crybaby, wasn't she? She was that stubborn girl in the car, wasn't she? And to add more, she was that short tempered lass, wasn't she? But all her faces'all that he has seen, was never in the girl that he was seeing now!!!

He tried to look for that evil Prez'that arrogant lady in her but he couldn't find her! she was just like those kids around her!

Geet was so happy to see the kids. It was only in weekends when she would come and pay them a visit. She'd buy their flowers and play with them before heading towards her job! Even today, she was here for the same. She was in one of the poor streets of London, which she had discovered around a month ago. Children in ragged, dirty clothes, sitting quietly with their parents on the pavements waiting for customers to buy their flowers!

The only rich person there was the cafe owner. She was really a nice person and helped other people at times of need. He had employed some of those poor people in his cafe itself. He has spent a good sum of money to make his cafe look really presentable and posh.

She didn't notice maan standing a few yards behind her. she was having fun with the kids.

Maan watched her from afar'so lively, he had never seen her'so playful and overall, so happy! He had never seen that glow on her face since day one.

She waved the kids and their parents bye and walked ahead jumping and swirling'she was enjoying the whole feel'a cool breezy evening and then a bunch of cute kids'her friends!

Maan could do nothing'he just traced her steps without making it obvious to her. his legs moved automatically'his gaze refusing to get off her'.his thoughts betraying him and everything was a reflex!

Time seemed to slow down for him, everything went in a super slow motion' he was so lost that he actually bumped into a man but didn't even bother to take avert his eyes from her for a moment and apologise! He walked behind her'.curious, enchanted, bewitched'and whatever you can call it.

Kawaii *hits her head* oye Maan babu'tu saala kaam se gaya!😆

She walked greeting poeple around her! it seemed she knew most of them. Suddenly she took a sharp turn into a dark passage and entered into a house, as it seemed to Maan, opening the door in that dark corner!

He didn't even think once before following her into the house...ignoring a general etiquette. And what did he see in there was the same old caf where he had been sitting with his friends!!! It was probably the back door she had used to enter the cafe.

But why, he wondered! He looked here and there when he couldn't find her. But one thing made him sigh in relief'Rahul and Dan were nowhere to be seen around that place. Probably they had already left the place. He thanked his stars for them not being present in the cafe...he didn't know why, but he just did!

His eyes searched for her'but couldn't find her anywhere. A weird restlessness filled his heart..where could she disappear? He looked at the cash counter' a sardarji was sitting there..probably middle aged! He thoroughly checked out the whole cafe'probably that sardarji owned it! He stood near a pillar at the far corner of that cafe and waited for her!

All of a sudden, two little kids, a boy and a girl, both probably below 10, came running out on the kitchen pulling someone. His eyes widened to see them pulling geet out of the kitchen holding her hand. She was trying to fix her apron by the other hand of hers. The kids didn't seem to let her go.

A lady appeared from the kitchen calling out to the kids, "bachchon, apni didi ko pareshaan na kariyo'"

She spoke in hindi with a bit of Punjabi touch in it. She might be the wife of that sardar ji, he thought!

Little girl: nai mamma hum pareshaan nahi kar rahe!

Little boy: han han nahi kar rahe!

Geet was somehow able to fix her apron and moved her curls away that were teasing her cheeks and followed the kids with a big smile!

They walked her towards that corner of the cafe where Maan was standing. He immediately hid himself behind that pillar to avoid being noticed. He looked at the other customers, they were all smiley all over seeing geet and the kids. He slowly peeped his head out to see geet sitting by a grand piano that was place in that corner.

Ohh man'he was so lost in her playing with the kids outside that cafe that he actually didn't notice that grand piano in the corner of that cafe..infact he didn't notice anything at all!

His heartbeat rose with the fear as well as anxiety of being caught by her. but luckily, the piano was a bit far from that pillar and she sat facing the piano, with her back facing him.

He took a deep breath'phew saved! But hey wait'why was she wearing an apron'like a waitress???!!!! He couldn't think more as he was more interested in their talks. He was even least bothered about some customers giving him weird looks for hiding behind a pillar in that place!

Boy: didi.play that cute song na..that you played the last time you were here!

Girl: nai di..pleeejjj aap na koi dusra shong play karo!

Boy: geet didi'aap Nini ki baat mat suno'

Nini (angrily): didi..aap bhaiyya ki baat mat shuno!

Boy: aap meri baat suno..

Nini: nai nai meri baat!

Boy (angrily): nahi meri baat pehle..

Nini: nai meri..

Boy: meri'

Geet rolled her eyes..his raj and Nini'uff..they fight a lot! She loved them dearly and smiled at their innocent fight!

Geet: acha acha Raj, Nini..fight mat karo okay!

Geet turned to Raj!

Geet: raj, pichli baar meine tumhara favourite tune play kiya tha na..aaj Nini ka request play karte hain theek hai!

Raji (making a pout): but didi..

Geet (sweetly): raj, Nini tumhari choti behen hai na'when I played your favourite tune the last time, did she complain?

Raj (thinking): umm..No!

Geet (smiling): dekha'and if I don't play her favourite tune today, she will feel bad na..

Raj (sadly): umm yes..

Geet (cutely): aur kisi ko hurt karna achchi baat hai kya?

Little raj seemed convinced. He nodded his head in affirmative and smiled at Nini.

Nini was delighted at this and hugged geet by her waist!

Nini: I lub you didi

Raj immediately hugged her from the other side and shot a stern look to Nini!

Raj: I love her more!

Little Nini made a pout, folding her cute pink lips outward! Geet smiled and hugged them both!

Geet: I love you both okay!

They smiled and stood near the piano, beside geet.

Maan was so delighted to see that smile on her face'something he had never seen before'something that elated his heart to no ends! But his witch even plays the piano'he went insane for a moment thinking what more his witch was hiding!

The way she talked to raj and Nini, the way she giggled at their talks'he felt them come so naturally from her heart! He never knew his geet was so much more and natural from inside than the outer face she shows to the world! He wait..did he say "his geet"'ohh how happy he felt'"his geet" sounded so sweet..ringing bells in his heart!

Geet placed her fingers on the keys and played the basic do re mi fa so la ti and turned to Nini.

Geet: so what does my little Nini wants to be played?

Nini put her index finger on her chin, pretending to think!

Nini: umm..something for friends!

The customers sat eagerly to hear her play'they just loved her and her music.

But for geet..the word "friends" had a very different feeling'a happy moment'yet a sad feeling! A love moment to cherish'..yet a painful memory to forget! Tears clouded her eyes ans she just closed them immediately!

Nini (pulling her dupatta): didi..are you okay?

Maan waited for her to play the piano'curious, enchanted, eager!!! being hiding behind her, he couldn't see her face!! He wondered, why was she taking too long?

Geet fought back her tears'..something she had become expert at in those year, and the past memories!

Geet (self thought): geet, you promised not to let your past come in between you and your new life right? Then why these tears? Nini asked for it'atleast play for her!

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at an anticipating Nini and smiled.

Geet (cutely) okay this one is for you and all the friends! I have composed it myself you know!

Nini (surprised): really?

Geet: yes..i named it FROM BEGINNING TILL NOW!

Raj: when did you compose it? Mujhe to nahi bataya!

Geet (shook her head smiling): nahi nahi'I composed it when I was around 16 years old!

Kawaii *getting senti😭😭* remember'this is the same piece Sweetu had composed for her MK andf played it the whole night when she realized how betrayed her heart was! 3 days'.3 days and MK still hadn't called her to inform her about his victory in his match, rather partying around with his girlfriends! She had cried so much!

But look at the conspiracy of nature'today her MK is standing right behind her'enjoying her'mesmerized'lost in her!

Nini: di..pleeejjj jaldi se play karo na..shab wait kar rahe hain!

Geet looked around..the customers, the regular ones who knew about her piano forte, waiting for her to start! She smiled at them, took a deep breath and ran her fingers on the keys!!!
