1 hr before they are about to reach Hoshiyarpur Geet senses familiarity

Geet:"Maan yeh to mere Horshiyarpur jaane ka rasta hai…. "

Maan was now smiling… it was hard to hide now…

A sudden hope rises within Geet and she is eager for an answer from him….

Geet:"Maan kuch boliye na Please… hum kahan jaa rahe hain….. "

Maan:"who ek kaam… pass he ke village me… due tha bhoot dinno se tou socha iss weekend ker loon….. and I thought kee tum bhi mere saath aaogee tou tumhara bhi refreshment ho jayega… right… waise bhi villages tumhe pasand hai…."

Geets felt her sudden hope was washed:"Bagal ke gaon me jaa rahe hain…. Ek baar bhi nahi socha itne pass Hoshiyarpur hai wahan Geet ko le chaloon…. Geet chor na… unhe kya pata mera dill kita dharakta hai mere logon ke liye aur mere gaon ke liye…. Maine he to kabhi jataya nahi na…."

Maan was watching her reactions…. But Geet was now restless as she was approaching Hoshiyarpur…..

She tried to prompt Maan some ways

Geet:"Maan.. aapko pata hai… yeh Hoshiyarpur jane wala rasta na bilkul kachcha tha… abhi tou achi road baan gayee hai…. Who bhi itnee achchee… itne kam dino me itna changes…. "

Maan tried to give no reaction:"Really…. Road kachchi thi…."

Geet:"haan na bilkul… gari to dhul urdatee jaatee thi iss rashte se…. itna interior me hain na humara gaon kee govt bhi dhyan nahi detee… per abhi to itna change ho gaya………"

Maan:"achcha!!!!"

Geet:"Mujhe tou lagta hai Hoshiyarpur me bhi kaphi changes aaye honge… pata nahi kitna badla hoga mera Hoshiyarpur…."

Maan did not have power to tease her more… Geet was so excited just nearing Hoshiyarpur…..

Maan:"tou yahan se apne ghar ka rashta pata hai tumhe….."

Geet:"kaisee baat puch rahe hain Maan… yaad hai?? 2 ke multiplication kee tarah… yahan to kabhi kabhi main walk kerte aa jatee thee…"

Maan:"walk??? Till here…"

Geet said casually:"haan.. actually I had made a social group in my village with some members of village itself.. and we used to survey region nearby to find the scope of development.. tou hum survey kerte kerte kabhi kabhi aas pass ke gaon tak pahuch jate the……"

Maan looked at Geet… he was completely surprised with what she said…. He was seeing an entirely different Geet… a very simple and a great value girl… who had her life for society…. He was now curious to know this new or say a real Geet more….

Geet: "who dekh rahen hai… uss taraf…. Haan… abhi tou kuch better dikh raha hai…. But that area has completely under developed society…. No money… education is a faraway talk for these people… they struggle for food and basic clothing…. Men drinks and waste most of the little earned money… children just roam around mostly with no clothing or sometimes with layer of never washed clothes… I don't think you must have ever known these people in reality rather than on TV or other wise… But these were my 1^st target… I used to visit these places most…."

Maan stopped the car… the area looked very very under developed to him… he would not even care to look at the area but now it was raising his interest…. Due to Geet…

Maan: "you said it looks better…."

Geet:"arre better he nahi… much much better… yeh kaise hua sab mujhe andaaza bhi nahi ho raha hai….. "

Maan: "And you group used to go there… I mean it can be kind of dangerous…."

Geet(laughing):"Group… ek ek member… ek area me jate the… sari group agar ek hee area me aa gayee to ho gaya kaam…. Aur agar social worker Danger ke bare me sochenge to to hua kaam…."

Maan was a strong man in himself… he had camped in Jungle all alone... done adventures like hiking and Traking but this was different…he felt like a pampered child in front of her this avatar… it seemed hard but he needed to know her…. her real world

Maan suddelnly asked her: "you must want to go there… do you want to go and see the development…. "

Geet was surprised by his question:"Nahi Maan…. App waise jagah me 1 mint bhi nahi reh payenge… I mean it's different.. aur waise bhi aapko kaam hai na…."

Maan:"you want to go right…. Tell me the way till Jeep can go and then we will walk"

Geet wanted to go and see the development very much but she was hesitant about Maan... but Maan insisted and they went there….

When people saw Geet they all came in front to greet her… for them Maan was no one… he was just someone with Geet… He preferred to stay at side and watch…

Geet was super excited to see the development in the area as well as to some point in their living too… Maan was surprised to see Geet happy due to excitement of development… If this was developed then what was the original state…. According to him this was completely under under developed piece of land… people, area, kitchen , bathroom all looked same to him… and Geet was whole heartedly hugging all those people who would give him cough with their body aroma if they stand near him….. But he was lost…. lost in whole this new thing….Geet looked like and angel between these people… and she was a real Angel he felt… He waited patiently for Geet while she talked to people and looked around everything……

After a while they left

Maan who was completely lost gathered words: "tumhare ghar ka rasta batna yahan se… "

Geet(Surprised):"mere ghar????"

Maan:"haan… tumhare ghar… this was the work due from long… tumhe tumhare ghar waloon se milwana…."

Geet was completely surprised…. Tears came to her eyes with happiness…. She looked at Maan with complete respect…How could he understand her this need… and what she had been thinking of him a while ago…."Babaji… mujhe maaf kijiye ga… main Maan ke bare me hamesha galat he sochtee hoon…. Unhe abb tak shayad samjhee nahi main…."

Geet (was unable to control her happiness):"Who Jeep jayegee mere ghar tak… teji Veerje ka tractor hain na who jate hain usse…."

In the way Geet was very surprised to see the changes in the village… from road itself she could gather how much development have been done…. She showed him the way to her home…..

Her Baba was chaudhary of the village so he had much bigger house than the other villagers… few matched him…. It was almost noon by the time they had reached and they were tiered too but Geet could not realize it due to her excitement… The big heavy wooden door was closed….

Geet made a knock at the door with the heavy handle on it…. Maan was just watching her excitement….

Lucky opens the door.. his hands had food on it… they were having lunch….

Lucky: "Geet Didi tum…. Yahan… kaise"

Geet:"kya lucky veerjee… saare sawal darwaze per hee karenge ya ander aane denge mujhe…. Aur Lucky Veerjee… yeh Maan hain…"

Lucky:"Jeejajee??? Aayee aayee…." Luccky who loved new styles he saw in TV and was unable to do them was very impressed by Maan's look and ways….

Maan entered the house and took a look around it…. The house was not that small… it had ample of space….. a big aagan in middle and the Rooms all around it and possible also went inside, a two strey and it was neatly kept…. It was nothing compared to his Mansion but it was a descent house and much bigger compared to what he had seen in his way…. It was house of the Village head….

While Maan was lost in architecture, lucky lost in admiring Maan's style Geet had gone to the dinning area to meet her family….Everyone was so surprise to see her….

Her Mom:"Geet tu… hai rabba main phir se sapna to nahi dekh rahee"

Baba: "Geet meri bacchee tu… yahan kaise….. Rano meri betee aayee hai"

Geet: "Maa, Baba…Haan main hee hoon… aapkee betee….aur Nandini… kaise hai tu"

Nandini came forward and two sisters had a nice hug…..

On other side Maan realized he was thirsty and asked Lucky for water… Lucky came in dining area to get water out of fridge… he was super excited to serve his stylish Jeejajee…

Baba: "abb yeh lafanga kya ker raha hai…. Teri Geet didi aayee hai"

Her Mom:"hai Babaji… Geet sab theek to hai… tu achanak yahan aa gayee… wahan sab theek hai na tere saath…."

Lucky and Geet then explained them that she was there with Maan and everyone left there seat immediately and went to greet Maan… leaving Geet to come by her own…

Baba:"chote sahabjee app isse yaha le ker aaye hai.." he did not know what to do… seeing Maan there he did not know how to welcome him….

Geet came from behind:"Baba yeh aapke hone wale damad hain… Chote sahib nahi…"

Maan:"Geet bilkul sahi keh rahee hai… main aapke bete jaisa hoon… aap mujhe Maan he khaiye….."

Geet's mom and Nandini immediately went inside to prepare thali of aartee….
