CHAPTER 14

Pia is sleeping and having a peaceful time. She has a smile on face. Abhay who is beside her is watching and smiling at her innocence but is also tensed as there are many things which are yet to be handled and taken care of.

Abhay(to himself): abhay you are so lucky to have pia in your life. I never thought that I will ever have happiness in my life. I love you pia and will never let anything happen to you and our baby. I will take care of everything. I will fix it.

Pia opens her eyes and sits. She watches the room around and then abhay. Abhay is smiling looking at her.

A: kya hua pia..tum uth kyu gayi

P: abhay…I m feeling hungry

A: so what do you want to have

P: mujhe kuch spicy khana hai

A: like what

P: pani puri

A: at this time…its 12 in night. From where will I get pani puri at this time

P: mujhe nahi pata…and mujhe ghar par nahi..bahar jakar khana hai

A: alright..lets go

Abhay takes pia out. Abhay makes pia sit in car. Abhay starts driving. Pia is very restless. She is looking here and there. She carasses her stomach. Abhay is driving and suddenly pia shouts.

P: stop..stop..

A: what?

P: ice-cream

A: but you wanted to have pani puri

P: nahi..now I want to have ice-cream

A: pia…you making me insane with ur tastebuds

P(making puppy faces): abhay…u don't love our baby…he wants to have it…

Tears roll down her eyes. abhay closes his tightly and opens it with a sigh.

A: fine…ice-cream…which one

Pia looks at abhay as he already knew her little adventure with ice-cream last time. Abhay smiled and went to get ice-cream. Pia got off the car. Abhay got four ice-creams for her…vanilla…chocolate…pineapple…chickoo flavor. Pia grabs all four ice-creams and starts eating together child like. She as usual starts spilling ice-cream on her dress.

A: you will never change…always child like.

P: abhay..lets walk na

A: pia..its already late at night and you want to walk. Yaha jungle hai

P: so what…my jungleee is with me..he wil take care of me

Abhay smiled and they started walking. Pia is walking and jumping like child.

A: pia..walk slowly..why are you jumping around

P: abhay…you are getting very bossy…I will not talk to you

Pia starts moving ahead stamping her foot.

A( rolling his eyes to himself): pia and her mood swings.

Abhay walks towards her fast and pulls her with her arm. pia turns towards him with a jerk. She looks at abhay and then somewhere else. Abhay smiles at her. He raises her face by her chin.

A: pia..look at me..

P: no..i am not looking at you

A: please

P(looking at him): what?

A: I am sorry

Suddenly it starts raining. Pia pushes abhay and starts playing in rain. She starts twirling and walking around here and there. Abhay follows her. Without realizing, pia enters the jungle. She is still lost in rains. Abhay is following her and tries to stop her. They reach in the middle of the jungle

A: pia..stop..we are in jungle

P: so what? Tum ho na

Suddenly theres a howling of wolves nearby. Pia gets scared and runs towards abhay and hugs him tightly. abhay realizes that its not safe here as theres a werewolf near-by. Abhay seeing here and there, feels presence of someone. Abhay sees a werewolf walking towards them. Pia gets more scared and hides behind abhay. Abhay in no time, gets his fangs out.

Abhay and the wolf stare at each other howling and deciding about the attack. The wolf walks towards abhay and suddenly pounce on him. abhay pushes the wolf making him fall on the ground with a thud. The wolf again gets back on foot and runs towards abhay. There is a vigorous fight between the two. Pia is watching this ans is scared. She is scared for abhay. Abhay in no time again throws the wolf. This time, with howling, the wolf runs away.

Pia starts crying and runs towards abhay. She hugs him tightly and starts sobbing. Abhay on the other hand is caressing and consoling her.

A: pia…ssshhh..it ok…its over..i m fine..

P: I am sorry abhay..it all happened because of me

A: no pia..its not ur fault..its ok…see..no harm done. Lets go home. It not safe here.

P: I am sorry abhay..i am sorry

Abhay takes pia back at home. Abhay has already told what happened in jungle through telepathy to alina. And alina has already spread the message to rest of the members.

[raichand house]

Haseena runs towards pia and hug her.

H: are you fine pia?

P: yes mom..i am fine

C: what happened abhay? Who was that wolf.

A: I don't know. Achanak se attack hua

Sid: are you fine abhay

A: yes bhai..

C: situations are getting worse. Wolfs are back and we don't know why

A: dad..there is something should know

Abhay tells everything about the dream which pia is having from the day of their marriage. Everyone are shocked.

H: abhay..tumne pehle kyu nahi bataya

A: sorry mom..sab kuch itne jaldi hua

P: abhay…you told me it was a dream. Is there something that I don't know

Everyone looks at abhay and realizes that pia knows nothing.

Aliya: bhai..aapne pia ko kuch nahi bataya

P: now what?

A: pia…someone is keeping an eye on us. And the dream u saw..it was a warning. Something is gonna happen and it has already started with what happened today

Pia is shocked to hear this. she starts crying.

P: its all my fault. Its all because I came to your life

Pia's words hit abhay very hard. he felt bad and painful.

A: how dare you say that pia? u are the best thing that ever happened in my life. pia this is our world. We face dangers every moment of our life. I love you. U are the reason of my existence. How can you even think like that? Don't you trust me?

P: I trust you

A: then why?

P: abhay…I am sorry… I am scared…I am scared for you..for our baby

A: pia…I will not let anything happen to you and our baby

H: we all are there. No one will ever come near you

C: pia…don't worry…trust us

Arjun: pia…tum itna mat socho…hum hai na..tum bas mujhe jaldi se chachu banana ke bare main socho…

Aliya: aur mujhe bua

Pia smiles at their words.

H: abhay..take pia…she needs rest. Its not good for her to be awake this late at night.

Abhay takes pia to their room.

[jungle of dehradun]

Met: tum ne yeh kya kiya? Abhayendra par hamla kyu kiya?

Dipu: main dekhna chahti thi ki abhay kitna strong hai

Metz: magar ab abhayendra janta hai ki ek bhediya uske peeche hai..hamare saare kiye hue par paani phir jaega

Dipu: aisa kuch nahi hoga…mujhe uske taaqat ka andaaza lagana tha…wo laga liya…uski kamzoori wo ladki..pia hai…

Metz: hum pia ko haath bhi nahi laga sakte..humein intezaar karna hoga..hamara maqsad poora hone tak..ab abhayendra apni poori taakat laga dega….tumhe dhoondne ke liye

Dipu: kuch nahi hoga mujhe

Metz(thinking): mujhe tumse koi matlab nahi..hame sirf hamare maqsad ki fikar hai…tumhe toh hum vaise bhi nahi chodenge…bas sahi waqt ka intezar hai

Dipu: kuch kaha

Metz: intezaar intezaar

[raichand house]

C: hame aur bhi problems ke bare main sochna hoga

S: matlab?

C: dobriyals…wo pia ke bare main jante hai…its not good

H: par ab hum kya kar sakte hai

Arjun: kuch toh hoga?

Aliya: I think I have one idea

S: what?

Aliya: we can lie..

Arjun: wo toh hum hamesha karte hai…whats the plan?

Aliya: we can say that pia was pregnant before her marriage. We will not tell them the month. This way we can add some time to her pregnancy

H: do you think this will work

Aliya: we can try

S: we need to ask abhay first

H: pia nahi manegi…she will never put any blot on abhay

C: she has to? Right now it's the only way we can put them off..we don't need to do this right now. We will only tell this if dobriyals start to suspect us. Till then..let it go as its going.

P: abhay…sab kuch theek toh hoga na

A: yes pia..everythings going to be fine…u take rest and don't think about it.

P: but abhay..

Before pia could speak abhay put his lips on hers. They kissed with pia finally giving in. abhay made pia sleep on bed. Pia slept hugging abhay closely and tightly.

Abhay kisses her forhead.

A: sleep my love sleep…u are safe..have peaceful sleep.
