The Purohith mansion started awakening too. Dev slowly opened his eyes.. with a sweet smile on his lips... for last couple of weeks he tried hard to get into sleep and tried hard not to bring Radhika's face by digging his head into office files, but his eyes were only seeing the letters, it never got registered in his brain, his mind was flying with her. But now he felt a new energy in him, a freshness in every cell of his body.

With that lovely smile on his face, he turned his face to the side... the space was empty.. he sat up quick with a worried face : Radhika!!!.. where is she.??

. he got up quick and checked in washroom, and found the space empty'... his heart started pacing faster.. he looked at the balcony.. he grabbed his T-shirt in his hand and slipped that over his head and almost ran out looking for his Radhika..

Daadi looked at him as she saw his rushes while climbing down the stairs..

Daadi: Dev.. are you ok?

Dev: yes. Daadi.. Radhika?

Daadi: Radhika! What happened to Radhika? Seeing the frustration in his eyes..

Dev: no.. did you see Radhika?

Daadi looked at the kitchen side and saw RAdhika coming with hot coffee in a tray..

Daadi: here is Radhika.. why you look so tensed..

Dev felt a relief as his eyes caught her vision. He walked near to her...'

Radhika tried to smile...'

Dev: why you didn't call me? In his concerned voice..

Daadi: What is this dev?..? don't act like a kid. Are you expecting the school bus to be here early..

Dev looked at Daadi in confusion..as if what are you saying..!!!

He looked at Daadi as if how does she knows..

Daadi: I am your daadi, atleast I should know something , right..

Dev took the coffee cup and looked at Radhika's face..

Dev: Where is your coffee.. Radhika?

Radhika tried to voice out hard: I had it already..

She left the space, Dev just watched her walking away..

Daadi: Dev, what is your plan for today?

Dev: so many works are pending, I need to finish those, actually I worked on it last night, and got mostly everything in order.. and now need to give final touch up and put it in place..

Daadi smiled and thought : ha Dev, I know, now you are back to yourself, but little different, after many years today you are sitting with me for a morning coffee.. or i used to see you walking out to your office at this time .. for years...'

Dev: why ?

Daadi: because I am taking RAdhika..

Dev: where?

Daadi: it's a girl thing. Why I have to tell you everything. After such a long time, I have some company here, so I want to spend some time with my bahu.. do you have any problem with that?

Dev:: no daadi, I just asked, that's all.

Radhika walked in again..

Daadi : beta, come and sit near me..

Radhika sat near Daadi.. Daadi started telling her about the day's plan.. and Radhika was listening carefully..

Daadi: is that ok Dev?

Dev was totally into RAdhika that the voice didn't reach his ears...

Daadi loudly: DEV..

Dev with a jerk: Ha Daadi..

Daadi: what is 'ha daadi' did you hear what I said?

Dev; jee,... actually what you were saying?

Daadi: Dev, what happened to you. Ok from tomorrow onwards RAdhika can start going to Indian Paints.. If she sit at home she may feel bored.. so..

Dev: Ha , daadi.. Good idea.. also Radhika I want you to take charge of Indian Paints, .. but then he paused thinking something hard.. oh no.. how can i forget myself.. he spoke out for self.. we need to go for follow up check up, I got the time for 8 AM:tomorrow, so maybe I can drop you after that at IP... ... I don't have much time to look after everything, I brought the IP because I thought it may benefit our business in total, but so far it is not showing any signs of that. were already there and knows the employees and all.. , so... And if you need any help.. you can always ask Daadi, she is the best guide, she only guided me..

Daadi looked at him surprisingly:

Daadi: Ok then, Radhika let's take that challenge. Don't think I am old.. I know the company is not doing well. But we are going to run it and will show Dev the girls power..

Dev: what?

Daadi in a stern voice: Radhika give me your hand..

RAdhika shook daadi's hand .

Dev:: that is not fare.. she is my wife..

Daadi: and I am your daadi.. and you are not going to interfere in any of our work, we are going to make it girlish way.. you take care of your construction company and we will take care of IP..

Dev understood her point well by now.." Ok then, let see how you two are going to win over me..

He stood up and went to his room to get freshen up...'

Daadi watched him going away, turned to Radhika and said: don't worry RAdhika , you can do it..

Radhika: what? I can? Me? But you said We.. the voice just came out easily from her mouth'

Daadi: ha, I know I said that, that is just to win over Dev.. he has big pride , right.. then why should we have to keep quiet..

Radhikat: But Daadi, I don't know anything..

Daadi squeezed Radhika's hands in hers and said: I am with you, don't worry, I may not be able to run with you everywhere, but I will be available for you anytime.. OK

Radhika tried to smile in confusion, as she got in total delimma

Radhika was in her own thought.. she didn't had anything in front of her till now, it was all blank'.but now Dev and daadi given her something to take care which she never ever thought of, and Dev was saying it as if he planned it all ahead... and all of a sudden she felt like as if she need another word to move on ,am i really going to take care of a paint company.!!!! how can I? I don't know anything...

' and as if he heard her wish, he lay on his back by loosening the grip, she just slipped out easily.. she tried to sit half way but her mangalsutr got stuck in his hand'... she looked into his peaceful eyes, his face looked so calm '... when and how I end up in his warmth.. she couldn't recollect anything back only she could recollect was her trying to lay facing away from him, and he looking into the monitor.. and and then' ...everything is blank until now.. she carefully got her chain released and went to washroom'./... and then down to kitchen , trying to escape from facing him, escape from herself'.

She jerked hearing Dev's voice calling out for her.. as she walked to their room, she thought, he is calling her in such a calm voice.. he never done that... she stepped in.. saw Dev drying his hair with the end of a towel.. wearing his black pants.. the white towel fell around his back neck hanging to the front'... he saw her coming in'

Dev: Radhika, come here..

Dev in a husky voice: you want to know why i called you..?

She just nodded her head in agreement..

He turned and took a gold color jumki from the dressing table.. and raised up to her eye level and asked.. ye kaise phool gayi?

She didn't say anything.. she stood with her dried mouth as she saw his hand picking it up fromt he table, she gazed down again. Watching her each breath movements, he slowly put the one on her right ear and then the next one., not breaking that gaze on her face... she stood in front him like a statue..

Dev: hum, now you look like my Radhika'...

Radhika looked at him in question..

Dev neared to her ear and murmured in: I love them seeing hanging from your ears, and always felt like they are so lucky to be a part of you.,..' . kash mei..

He stopped there and looked into her eyes and continued..: but now you are a part of me, right? .. he placed a soft kiss over her forehead..

she didn't move, stood still listening to everything.. he looked into her eyes again and then brushing his wetness of body on her slender arms he moved away' ...she stood there in trance'...

He went near her wearing his watch..: Radhika, go get ready.. we need to go..

Radhika: je..

Dev: hum..

Radhika in her soft innocent voice : mei,' kya pehnum.

Dev looked at her in confusion: what?

Radhika realizing her words, gazed down saying: Ji kuch nahi'

he felt happy to hear her sound... He smiled and went to the wardrobe and took a nice white suit out and gave to her.. you will look beautiful in this.. and went to take his office stuff.''

She went to change and came out.. he looked at her as she came out, but then again he looked back as he doesn't wanted her to catch him.. With the corner of his eyes, he watched her tying her hair, adjusting her chain, he loved that, he loved it whenever he see that chain around her neck.. that gave him hope.. may a hope for her too, unknowingly'...

his heart was jumping with joy, but he controlled seeing her corner eye...

she looked at her parted hair, the sindoor faded away.. she felt sad.. she looked around for the sindoor, but failed.. he saw her frustration..

Dev: Radhika , are you ok.. missing something.

Radhika looked at him and nodded her head ,conveying nothing..

Dev: let's go..

Radhika nodded her head again..

They walked out together, he wrapped his arms around her shoulder as if he didn't want to leave her.. but'.

The day just passed by quick.. Daadi took Radhika to their family temple too. The poojari gave her the Prasad along with kumkum.. she felt happy.. . . she took a small pinch and applied that over her forehead, and looked at the smiley face of the Lord, and bowed her head for all the blessings..

As they walked down, Radhika saw a kumkum bottle in nearby shop, she looked at it, Daadi slowed down as she didn't see Radhika with her. She saw RAdhika staring at the sindoor bottle, she smiled and went near.. : you want to buy one..?

She just nodded her head'.. daadi smiled again

Its getting better and better...slowly she realised what she has and dev just wants to make it easy for her...for now is just stealing glances and self-monologue but the love is there...its so cute seing their simple gestures as with the earrings,mangalsu tre and sindoor...loved the last part with radh,glad she knows that now all its true and hers to claim...amazing part devika,thank u!
