Why according to you is fitness important?
Fitness is important to keep both the body as well as mind active. A person who is not fit is not capable of leading a healthy life.
Which exercises do you prefer and why?
I follow a balanced exercise regime of cardio as well as weights, which my personal trainer has set for me. Having a personal trainer is important because I am not certified in the field of fitness. Just like you need a doctor to guide you about what treatment you require in the same way you need a personal trainer to guide you about the fitness regime that you should follow.

What food items do you include in your diet and what do you avoid?
I include all food that is high in protein in my diet and also simple carbohydrates like fruits. I try to avoid complex carbohydrates like white bread, pizzas and rice in my diet.

Do you have any problem areas and how are you working on them?
My only problem area is my back. I have a weak back and tend to suffer from injuries in my lower back. I keep my trainer in loop about my problem and he is helping me to make my back stronger by exercising it. In our field we have to stand for hours and also perform all kinds of stunts. You need a strong back for this.

What are your guilt indulgences?
I am a big foodie so there are days when I cheat on my diet. I eat everything from butter naan to vada pav and pav bhaji. I also have sudden craving for sweets and on those days I eat everything from chocolate pastries to cheesecakes (laughs).


Which actors from TV or films have a good body?
Salman Khan has the fittest body since a longest time. His body is so good looking and manly. He may not always sport a six pack but his body looks much better than many people with a six pack. Nobody on TV has an admirable body.


What fitness tips will you suggest to fans?
My only suggestion will be that please don't be lazy. Sitting around will not get you fit. Go and hit the gym and start exercising. It is the beat way of getting rid of all your daily stress in life.
