News of Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi going off-air has been making news for quite a while now. However, the latest on this is that the show is tipped to bid adieu on September 30. And before the curtain goes down the show is all set to see another cameo. Amit Jain will be making an entry as Ranveer Nandini's (Melanie Pais) friend. He has begun to shoot for the show today.
Our source informs, "Now that Nayantara's (Sonali Nikam) truth is revealed and Maan (Gurmeet Choudhary) has accepted Geet (Drashti Dhami) as his wife the show is nearing its end. The show will now focus on the love story of two couples Maan-Geet and Dev-Nandini. Meanwhile, Amit Jain will play the cupid between Dev-Nandini and he will make them realise their love for each other. Despite Geet's motivation Dev (Samir Sharma) has not been able to express his feelings. However, Ranveer's presence will make him jealous and he will bring them closer."
The source clarifies, "Since the show is nearing its end the reincarnation track has been shelved due to lack of time and also because it was leaked to the media. As for the news on a child's entry this is baseless as there will be no new entry of any child in the show. For now it will just focus on Maan and Geet's journey and the turn of events that will happen in their life."
To confirm if the show is soon ending we spoke to Samir Sharma (Dev) who said
"We have been hearing about the rumours for a long time but we haven't received any confirmation on this."
Amit Jain refused to comment about his entry.
