Part 5Khushi and Arnav walked back to class. Everyone was laughing. Khushi sat down. "Tum bahut pagal aur bewakoof ho aise halkat karne ke liye" a voice said from behind her. It was Lavanya. "Waise kya kahan principal ne" she questioned. Khushi didn't answer she just tried to ignore her.Arnav overheard the girl. "Tumme isse kya matlab, apne kaam se kaam rako" Arnav said rudely. "Me to chamkilli se baat kaar rahe thi uske boyfriend se nai" Lavanya answered. "Lavanya apne kaam par concentrate karo" the teacher yelled. Arnav smirked. She groaned and turned round.
Khushi glanced towards Arnav, she had a warm feeling she was happy someone was sticking up for her.
Everyone had now left. Khushi + Arnav were the only ones sitting there. They'd have to stay back and work on the project. They quietly worked on the project
Nani walked back and forth. She was waiting for Arnav to come. She wanted to talk to him about that girl. Suddenly the phone rang, it was Akash he informed Nani that he and Arnav is coming home late. Nani was so annoyed, she'd have to wait ages till she could talk to Arnav.
A Few Hours Later.. (About 8 PM)
Arnav and Khushi walked out. Akash stood at the gates smiling. Akash wanted to ask Khushi how Payal was but Arnav looked like he was in a bad mood and wasn't going to wait.
Khushi was trying to get a rickshaw but all just ignored her and drove past. It was really cold and it was raining. She shivered. A car was right in front of her. The wheels of the car screeched as the car stopped. Arnav and Akash got out.
"Why the hell are you standing in the middle of the road?" Arnav demanded. "Ji wo-" Khushi started. "Wo kya? What if you hurt yourself" Arnav asked.
"I don't think you should wait for a rickshaw in this weather just come with us and we'll give you a lift" Akash said. Khushi nervously agreed. Akash looked at Arnav. Why was he not protesting, he was just watching her get in. "Kahin isko pyaar to nai hogaya hai"? Akash thought. They both got into the car too.
They arrived in front of Khushi's house. Khushi thanked Akash and was about to get out, she noticed Arnav sleeping calmly. "Wow he looks so peaceful" Khushi thought to herself. Khushi shook her head. Why was she even thinking about him?
Khushi had now gone. Akash decided to have a peep in the window to see if Payal was there. He walked over to the window. He could see Payal, she looked fine. "Bhagwaan ka shukar hai" Akash thought happily. His phone suddenly rang. "Akash jaldi se ghar ajao tumhare di ki tabeeyat teek nai hai" Nani said worridly. "Ji Nani abhi aata hoo" Akash said. He hanged up and turned round. BuaJi was standing there with her hand on her hips.
