"Of course Mayank!! I promise you'Just be assured of it"'she smiled assuringly
"Hmmm'..toh phir'.I guess now you must be needing some rest'.Tum upar bed pe so jao'.main couch pe so jaata hun"
"No Mayank'.No need to adjust becoz of me'.I'll settle myself on couch.."
"Nupur I m not adjusting''Actually we don't need to adjust'Its just a matter of 6 months'.."'
Nupur gazed at mayank feeling some guilt within her
"Ummm'..baarish bahut tez ho rahi hai'.Khidki band kar dete hain"'.he spoke
Both Mayank and Nupur turned simultaneously towards the window to cloe it'.Just then their hands touched each other and shivers ran down through her body
She immediately removed her hand'."Sorry!!!"'..she spoke looking sideways to avoid his eyes
He closed down the windows'and lied down on sofa''"Good Night Nupur!!"
"Good Night Mayank!!"'she spoke with a smile'.
She too lied down on bed thinking about the events that happened today in her life and slowly drifted to sleep
While on the other hand Mayank was trying to absorb the fact his wife loves someone else'.He too surrendered himself to sleep when the tiredness of the day took over the thought process in his mind
And the Rains outside the window which should have witnessed the union of two souls kept wetting down the city with a hope to see their new beginning becoz only the Rains knew'"Love is bound to happen!!!"
It was 8 in the morning when he woke up'..Nupur was still asleep'He went to freshen himself up when his mom knocked the door"Good Morning Beta!!!...Jaldi se tum aur Nupur neche aa jao'Aaj Nupur apne naye ghar mein kuch meetha banayegi"
As he closed the door..he thought how to wake Nupur up'..He went close to her and saw she was sleeping peacefully'..She had removed her jewelry and was looking so beautiful and serene'.He loved that look on her face'. He wondered why her innocent look always melted his hearty and made him lose his senses'.
"Nupur!!"'he spoke gently but there was no reply from the other side'.
"Nupur!!...Uth Jao!!"'this time he spoke with a little more loudness in his voice
Nupur opened her eyes slowly and found Mayank standing beside her with wet hairs'and once again her deep black eyes made Mayank forget everything
She looked at the wall clock behind Mayank and exclkaimed Mayank smiled at her innocence''"Relax Nupur!!!...Its OK'..tum fresh ho jao'who maa aayi thi unhone humein neeche bulaya hai"
"Ohhh accha''main abhi jaldi se fresh ho jaati hun'.aisa nahi hai ki main roz late uthti hun'.woh actually kya hai na roz toh collg jaana hota tha aur main aur Raj saath mein hi collg jate the lekin ab'.."'..she stopped in between realizing she shouldn't have said this before Mayank''
And Mayank's smile vanished listening to Raj's name'.but controlling himelf and remembering the promise he had made to Nupur he spoke up " Lekin ab kya???...
"Who isi saal hamara collg khatam hua hai aur Raj apni job training ke liye Bangalore gaya hua hai" her eyes got filled with tears
"Koi baat nahi''wapa toh aa jayega na jald hi'Tab tak main tumhe uta diya karunga subah jab bhi tum late ho jaya karogi uthne mein"'he giggled
His word brought smile on Nupur's face'.."Uska mauka tumhe nahi milega'..Main khud hi uth jaya karungi'." 'she raised her eyebrows naughtily
"Dekte hain"
"Dekh lena"
She challenged him and rushed towards washroom thinking to herself'"Mayank accha hai'.Kafi accha hai"'..
Mayank smiled at her confidence'."She is really very sweet!!!"
