The function went over a very high note as every one was blessing the couple which was celebrating 12 years of their matrimony and the glint on their faces showed the extent of love they had for each other. With their two children hovering around them, it looked a perfect fairy tale sight.

"Bhaiya and bhabhi are so much in love", nupur sighed dreamily, looking at the perfect family who was now finally allowed some privacy and were having dinner.

"yeah, very much in love, they are childhood sweethearts", mayank smiled, following nupur's line of sight and nupur looked back to mayank ' with an intention to ask something but then saved it for night.

After a faboulous yet tiring event, everyone was off to their homes, and so were Mayank and Nupur.

"I missed dad, wish he could make it to the function", Nupur sighed, taking off her jewelry. "it's okay Nupur, he was not in town, he did call you during the function", Mayank sweetly tried to console and Nupur just nodded.

Mayank changed to tracks and got in be with his tablet, just to check on mails before sleeping while nupur went to change.

Before taking off the sari, she looked herself in the mirror, and smiled. I'll be wearing this color again.

When nupur returned after changing, mayank was still engrossed in the tablet and nupur got by his side and cuddled close to him, "mujhe ap se kuch pochna hai, but promise you will not get angry and neither will you react until I explain my question", she said, looking at him and he placed the tablet away, "okay beautiful , go ahead", he turned towards her to give her proper attention and, just as a jinx, she cleared her throat which earned her a giggle.

"umm, karthik bhiaya aur aman bhiya, dono ki love marriage hai, why did you go for an arrange marriage?, she fearfully completed her sentence, observing the formation of the frown on his head.

"simply because I was not in love!", he started calmly and now it was nupur's turn to frown, "nahi mera matlb hai k why did you agreed for a risk of an arrange marriage, why didn't you waited for love to come and ..

"nupur ..", he pulled her close and stroked her cheeks, "when mom started talking about my marriage, I was in no relationship, and neither was there anyone whom I could present to mom as my choice, and meanwhile she came up with her own choice and I agreed. See, even karthik bhiaya and aman bhiya, both were in love, but karthik bhiaya's marriage has transformed into a compromise only due to asshi bhabhi's beaviour while aman bhaiya leads his life in bliss, so it is just a matter of adjustment, and as for waiting for love, I don't think I would have fallen in love with you before marriage, you hardly talked", he sighed and nupur blushed, "but you could find someone else", she added slowly and mayank pulled her even more close, "don't u think that was impossible", lovingly stroking her cheek, he headed for her lips, but nupur placed her finger over them.

"I think you should go to sleep, ap kal raat bhi nahi soye, subha bhi jaldi office chaley gaye they and now again tomorrow you have to make designs , so please go to sleep", she pouted and mayank sighed, "okay, I will, but not before a goodnight kiss", he winked and nupur closed her eyes, because she quickly wanted mayank to get over the kiss so he could sleep. He was really tired, while mayank giggled at her cute tactics, and understanding that she was right, he should sleep early, they both shared a small yet passionate and love filled kiss and mayank placed her head in her lap.

"your fingers have magic", he said pleasantly as nupur was stroking his head and he was enjoying immensely, " and you, yourself are magic", she said biting her lip and mayank opened his eyes to see the shy smile, "not bad, thank you nupur", he gestured to get up but nupur didn't let him get up, "oho please na, no romance today, bus so jao ap", she smiled sweetly and mayank held her hands, 'I knew you would say this", he pouted, "I have started understanding you alot", he again raised his eyes and both shared a smiling eye lock, "I think I also have , sort off", she mumbled , "but I think this understanding thing is going to carry throughout the life, we have spent more than 20 years of our lives away from each other, still there is a lot more to understand and know", mayank thoughtfully replied and nupur nodded, "yeah, still there are things in us which we don't know",she said with equal intellect.

"but the thing is that I love you and you love me and that is enough!", he closed his eyes again, "see I told you, you are magic", nupur kissed his forehead and and he got up, this time before nupur could stop, "wrong phrase dear wifey, the correct is , You & Me - It's MAGIC", he winked and nupur lowered her eyes and taking full advantage of her blush, he kissed her again, this time moving forward from a kiss and nupur couldn't resist because magic had taken over.

Mayank and Nupur had moved on from the most difficult stage of an arrange marriage ' that was developing a feeling of belonging and looking forward to know each other and accept your partner. They did that with a bit of harsh time, but in the end did fall in love with their partners because they had a life ahead to know each other, and they knew they would do it because the fact that made it easier for them was that - they defined - YOU & ME - It's MAGIC.
