"Nupur,tum...yeh...kya keh rahi ho??"..he fumbled as her words had not yet sunken within him

"Mayank!!...main jaanti hun ki aapko bahut bura lagega and trust even I feel bad telling you all this but I had no other choice.This marriage is just like a contract for me."

Mayank had no idea what was happening...For the first time in his life he had got attracted to someone and he wanted to love his life and himself needed that affection from her but he saw all his dreams getting shattered coz his wife's words had made it obvious.

"Contract???...This marriage is a contract for you???...For your kind information Nupur contract is made with the consent of two persons but here I had no idea that the person to whom I m getting married would tell me she loves somebody else that to on the first night of our wedding"

"I m really sorry Mayank...but I had no other choice. My dad didn't like Raj and was totally against our love. He wanted me to get married to you.I tried to convince him but he was not in a mood to listen to me. I know you are a very nice person..infact you can be the perfect husband but I don't love you!!"

Mayank felt his heart fuming with jealousy on listening Raj's name...

"Hum kai baar mile the na Nupur??...You could have told me that time also...Main khud hi is shaadi se mana kar deta"

"Koi fayeda nahi hota Mayank...I know my Dad very well...He would have searched another boy for me but not Raj...you don't understand..."

"I understand everything Nupur!!...You thought it would be easy to fool Mayank after marriage".....he spoke coldly

"No!!...I didn't mean that...why don't you understand...Shayad tumhe kabhi kisi se pyaar nahi hua hai na isliye"...saying this tears started falling down from her eyes

Shayad tumhe kabhi kisi se pyaar nahi hua hai.....These words echoed in Mayank's heart..How could he tell her that he never experienced love but wanted to experience it now with his wife but probably it was destined

His heart melted seeing Nupur crying...

"Umm...Dekho Nupur...plzzz tum ro mat...I m sorry main thoda rude ho gaya tha but I did'nt mean that way"

He made her face him and wiped away her tears

"Nupur ab jo ho gaya so ho gaya...But I promise main tumhe tumhare Raj se milwaunga...But as per rule we would have to spend 6 months with each other before getting divorce...Toh tab tak ke liye kya hum dost banke reh sakte hain??...Good friends???"

He put forward his hand and after a little hesitation she too put her hand in his and said"Thank You soo much Mayank for understanding me'Tum bahut acche ho and I really look forward to this friendship of ours"

Mayank smiled weakly...Only he knew how much he was shattered within himself but he wanted to see Nupur smile...Despite of the real fact he couldn't deny he was getting attracted to her
