Part 45

Days went by, Geet was really feeling bad that Maan told Sameera about her, but she did not know what he told his ex-wife; and that Sameera also did not turn out to meet her as he had said she would. Geet did not like that Maan was still in good terms with her, but why, was the question that lingered her mind.

It was August and Rakshabandhan was round the corner, it was her second one since she left HSPur, Brij had called at the KM and asked for the Canada address as Darjee wanted to send in few gifts for her, she was shocked that this brother of hers who was ready to kill her and named her as family defame was shamelessly acknowledging this festival. Arjun also called and asked her to join him for the festival and said that she could also get a chance to see the small Rathod, Geet was confused how she will manage as Angle was still 6 months and Arjun did no know that she was her daughter, so she made an excuse of last minute submissions and promised him that next year she will try.

But on the day before Rakhi Arjun came with Anvesha and 8 months old Aryan, Geet was not home and so was Angle, as it was a surprise visit even Maan was not aware of his arrival, DM called Maan and told her, Maan immediately came and hugged Arjun

M: Arjun how come you came along with Bhabhi and junior ?

A: I asked Geet to come, but she said she would not be able to, so I thought I shall come

M: any occasion?

A: tomorrow is Rakhi

M: oh, but Geet never told that you called her.

DM: yes, beta she never told us

Anvesha: where is she?

DM: college

An: oh, Dadi I am sorry but I did not bring Cerelac with me, can you ask someone to bring a packet

DM: wait I'll just arrange, how many scoops you feed him?

And the two ladies went to the kitchen

When Arjun excused to use the wash room, Maan went to the study and called Geet who probably would be sitting in the car with Angle,

G: yes, Maan

M: Geet, you never told me that Arjun called you

G: it was none of your concern

M (hurt): yes, it was, but now what shall I do, Arjun is here with his wife and baby

G: what?

M: yes, you should at least for once told me that he asked you to visit him

G: but

M: Geet, he may be your Rakhi Bhai but I know him far better then you do.

G: don't shout

M: I am not shouting I am quoting facts

G: oh, you can talk to who ever you want to and what ever you want to, and I can not even

M: you have lost your mind, it has been months since that day, and I did not tell her anything that you are thinking

G: I am not thinking anything, you

M: stop it Geet, now you listen to me, (shouted with anger, here he was concern about her and there she was complaining like a kid, but then she was a kid, no she is now a mother of a baby, she has to grow up)

G: you are dictating me

M: ok do whatever you want to, but don't send Angle alone, you come with her, or we will have to cook some story about her and then you will again crib, so you better come along with her

G: what if I choose not to come at all

M: don't even think of that Geet, she is my daughter and you will not take her elsewhere then KM, did you get it

G: no, I did not you, what will you do

M: nothing, do what ever you feel like doing, I am going and will not be back till you call me yourself

And he cut the call and also switched off his mobile.

Then he went to the lobby where Arjun was waiting

M: Arjun I just got an urgent call, I were in a meeting when DM called me, and you know business

A: of course Maan I understand

He went out and switched his mobile on and diverted the calls to automatic answering mode and messaging

this was their very first fight...😉 what do you say why this happened?

now that Arjun is there will he also come to know about Geet's case
