It has become quite a norm to have an item number song, which becomes added attraction for the movie and even to quite an extent helps the movie to stay on.

Now daily shows are not into showing dances and if ever, they still can't show something like Sheila ki Jawani or Munni badnaam hui etc for the sake of the family viewership restrictions (I am guessing).

Now Gulaal CVs have come up with a unique idea to use 3 elderly ladies of the family standing as a group and insulting and degrading their bahu just next to their in-house mandir and there is no limit to the context and the subject they can address and their details. A normal saas bahu confrontation will continue but once in a show you can have guest saases (3-5) on the show and they can thrash a bahu in public or in private or next to mandir. Bhagwaan can also hear all the crap they speak.

I am sure after this Friday episode, the TRPs will shoot and all other production houses are looking for 'Groups of Saases" for this item number.
