.. Chapter # 18 ..
Sighing, Nupur sat on the couch .. "Kaha hai yeh dono?", she said impatiently and continued being desperate .. But in a second, her lips curved in a beautiful smile when she thought something .. "Finally 6 mahine pura ho gaya .. Aaj Mayank reha honge .. Phir hum sab ek saath honge .. Khush rahenge .. Aur main upar waale se yehi dua karti hoon ki aur koi mushkil naa aaye humare life mein ..", she said the last sentence with folded hands praying to God ..
"Chinta mat kar .. Aab koi mushkil nahi aayegi ..", said Taani keeping her hand on Nupur's shoulder who turned around and smiled slightly at her .. Taani sat close to Nupur and keeping her hand around her shoulder, she said with a happy smile, "Hum charo ki zindagi aab savarne waali hai .. Sab pehele jaisa ho jayega.."
Suddenly a mischievous smile curved on Taani's face and she said to Nupur teasingly, "Waise, itna utaavli mat ho .. Woh kehete hai naa, sabar ka fal mitha hota hai .." Nupur shyly smiled and Taani giggled ..
The doorbell rang .. Taani and Nupur excitedly stood up and rushed to the main door .. They opened it and saw Anurag and Mayank standing in front of them ..
Taani hugely grinned and Nupur gave a blissful smile and kept on gazing at Mayank with tears of joy in her eyes ..
"BHAI!", Taani shouted and jumped and ran to Mayank's arms .. Mayank laughed and hugged her back .. "Tu abhi bhi jhalli hi hai, Taani .." Mayank said and chuckled .. Anurag glanced at Taani and Nupur and smiled broadly seeing them so happy ..
Once Taani and Mayank broke their hug, Taani said to Mayank with a happy smile, "Bhai, main sach mein aaj bohot khush hoon .." Caressing Taani's cheek, Mayank kissed her forehead and said with a beautiful smile, "Main bhi bohot khush hoon .."
Just then, Mayank's eyes spotted Nupur who was still staring at him .. He smiled lovingly at her and they shared a beautiful eye-lock ..
"Ahem ahem!", Anurag and Taani coughed teasingly which brought Mayank and Nupur back to reality and made them shyly smile ..
"Taani, mujhe lagta hai ke inn dono ko akela chod dena chahiye, kyun?", Anurag said in a teasingly .. "Tu theek kehe raha hai Anu ..", replied Taani in the same way .. Saying that, they giggled and went in the room leaving Mayank and Nupur alone ..
Nupur has her eyes lowered .. "Nupur .." Mayank said huskily making Nupur's heartbeats fast .. She raised her eyes and Mayank could see her eyes shining with tears which slowly streamed wetting her cheeks, yet she was smiling .. That was truly a heavenly smile, Mayank thought .. He stepped closer to Nupur and wiped off her tears ..
In no time, Nupur pulled Mayank in a tight hug .. She closed her eyes to feel the moment wholeheartedly .. Mayank smilingly hugged her back, caressing her long silky hairs .. "Main aa gaya hoon naa, aab kyun ro rahi hai?", Mayank asked Nupur .. "Kyuki main aap se bohot pyaar karti hoon ..", Nupur said to Mayank in between her sobs, hiding her face in his shoulder ..
Mayank broke off the hug and captured Nupur's lips in a soft kiss .. After they pulled themselves back, Mayank said to Nupur wiping off her tears, "Aab humari life mein inn aasuyo ke liye koi jagah nahi hai .." "Arey main khushi ke aasu bhi nahi baaha sakti kya?", Nupur said and pouted making Mayank laugh ..
"Tu bhi naa ..", Mayank said smilingly shaking his hand in disbelief .. Nupur smiled proudly and said, "Main aisi hi hoon .." "Iss liye toh mujhe tujhse pyaar hai .." Mayank said cupping Nupur's face and hugged her again .. Nupur hugged him back ..
Once they broke off, Nupur said excitedly, "Mayank, mere pehele recording ka gaana sunenge? Main 6 din se intezaar kar raha hoon aap ko mere recording ka cassette sunaane ke liye .." "Oh wow .. Main zarur sununga .. Chal .." Mayank said in equal excitement and they went to Nupur's room ..

"Anu tujhe aaj hi bhai se humari shaadi ki baat karni hogi ..", Taani said in an authoritative tone .. "Taani, aaj kaise? I mean, Mayank aaj hi aaya hai .." Anurag said nervously .. Taani grabbed Anurag's arm and pulled him to stand .. "Agar abhi baat nahi karega toh kasam se, bohot pitega .. Main kehe deti hoon!", she said glaring him ..
"Taani, mujhe dhamki mat de .. Samajh ne ki koshish kar .." Anurag said frightened looking in Taani's eyes .. "Cheee Anu, tu kitna darpok hai .." Taani said mockingly ..
Suddenly Anurag slipped his hands around Taani's waist and pulled her closer to him .. "Arey waah! Badi jaldi hai tujhe humari shaadi ki .. Iraada kya hai?", he told her mischievously snuggling more to her .. Anurag's closeness made Taani calm in a second .. "Nahi.. bas.. woh.. aise hi.." Taani said with shivered voice .. Anurag looked in Taani's eyes mischievously .. Slowly he buried his head in her neck and softly kissed her shoulder .. Taani closed her eyes in pleasure .. "Main aaj hi Mayank se baat karta hoon .." whispered Anurag in Taani's ear and kissed her earlobe .. After that, he moved apart and went away making Taani's cheeks turn crimson red ..

"Mayank, tumse kuch kehena tha .." Anurag said nervously sitting opposite to Mayank on the dinning table .. They all were eating lunch .. Taani's heart started beating fast in fear .. She knew that she would not get any negative response from Mayank yet she was feeling damn shy .. Nupur giggled seeing Anurag and Taani like that because she probably has guessed what Anurag wanted to tell ..
"Haan Anurag .. bol kya baat hai .." Mayank said smilingly looking at Anurag .. "Woh.. main.. i mean.. hum.. main kehena chahta tha ki.." Anurag fumbled with words .. Nupur suppressed her laugh and Taani thought in mind, "Hey bhagwaan! Kis bholu se paala padha hai mera .." and sighed ..
"Anurag, tu theek toh hai naa?", Mayank said concernedly .. Anurag gulped and drank water in nervousness .. Nupur burst out in laughter .. All were shocked ..
"Nupur, aab tujhe kya hua? Tu aise kyun has rahi hai?", Mayank said completely confused .. Nupur teasingly stared Anurag and Taani who lowered their eyes in shy and nervousness .. Then she turned her face towards Mayank and said with an ocean-sized smile on her face, "Mayank ji, mere pyaar Onu da ke liye main aap ki behen ka haath maangti hoon .."
Taani slammed her forehead with her palm and Anurag gulped again .. Mayank raised his eyes in shock and then stared Taani .. He stood up and walked towards Taani .. Making her stand up by holding her arms, he hugged her tightly .. Nupur broadly smiled and Anurag was speechless, so was Taani ..
Once Mayank broke the hug with Taani, he said with teary eyes, "Meri behen itni badi ho gayi hai .." Nupur came up to Taani and said smilingly, "Haan Mayank, aap ki behen sach mein bohot badi ho gayi hai .." Mayank gave a satisfaction smile and cupping Taani's face in his hands, he said, "Main tere liye bohot khush hoon .. Anurag tere liye bilkul perfect hai .." Taani shyly smiled ..
Anurag stood up smilingly .. Mayank hit him playfully on his shoulder and said, "Abey idiot .. itni acchi baat bataane ke liye tu itna nervous ho raha tha? Sach mein tu paagal hai .." Nupur and Taani giggled hearing Mayank .. Mayank laughed too .. "Tum log mujh par itna toh mat haso naa .." Anurag said and pouted which made everyone laugh even more ..
Nupur stood in the middle of the rest three and declared, "Toh phir Onu da aur Taani ki shaadi kal hi kar dete hai .." "Kal?", Anurag and Taani said in chorus in shock .. Mayank supported Nupur saying, "Haan kal .. Mandir mein tum dono ki shaadi karwaa dete hai .. Waise bhi acche kaam ke liye deri kaisa? Hum charo hi toh ek dusre ke dunia hai, aur hume kya chahiye, haina?", he said the last line emotionally ..
Anurag and Nupur nodded and said with a shy smile, "Theek hai .." "Yaaayy", Nupur shouted in excitement and the rest three delightfully smiled ..
"Mayank aur Nupur, kal mandir mein humare saath agar tum dono bhi shaadi karlo toh?", Anurag said joyfully .. Taani said smilingly, "Anurag theek kehe raha hai .." Mayank and Nupur stared Anurag and Taani in surprise ..
"Par Onu da..." Nupur said shyly .. "Par var kuch nahi .. Tu aur bhai bhi ek dusre se pyaar karte hai .. So koi par var nahi samjhi .." Taani ordered Nupur ..
"Main toh taiyaar hoon .." Mayank said and naughtily smiled .. Nupur shyly smiled and ran to her room .. The rest three giggled .. Anurag declared with the hugest smile curved on his face, "Toh phir yeh tayer raha .. Kal hogi Anurag-Taani aur Mayank-Nupur ki shaadi .." Mayank and Taani smiled blissfully ..

Mayank is putting sindoor on Nupur's forehead and the pandit declares them as husband and wife .. Anurag-Taani and Mayank-Nupur exchange contented smiles at each other ..
Khushiyo ne dastak hi hai inn ki zindagi mein .. Savar gayi hai inn charo ki zindagi .. Par kya yeh khushiya rahegi humesha?
"Main vapas aa gayi hoon, Anurag .. Sirf tumhare liye .." a girl said and hugged Anurag making him dumbfounded ..
Mayank furiously stared Nupur who was chatting smilingly with a guy far away from her ..
