CHAPTER 2

The time has arrived. Everyone is happy and all excited for the engagement.

[raichand house]

Aliya: bhai kitna time laga rahe ho. Pia will be waiting for us

Arjun: let him atleast dress up…its his day after all.

S: waise bhi humse jyaada jaldi toh abhay ko hai wahan pahochne ki

A: r u people done? Then even m done.

Abhay is dressed in white sherwani with red colour work on it. everyone are just staring at him. Chand and haseena also enters.

H: abhay u luk so handsome. Come lets go.

[dobriyal house]

The house is decorated beautifully. Purple orchids, tulips and lilies have been used to decorate. There is bar at one side of house and food on other side.

Madhu: jaldi karo…guests aur raichands aate honge. Time ho gaya hai. Misha tum waha kya kar rhi ho? Jaake dekho ki pia ready hai ki nahi

M(to herself): oh god! Pata nahi shaadi ke naam par mama ko kya ho jata hai

M: jao misha…aur tum kuch dhanke kapde pehen kar aana. Panchi tum ready ho na. plz misha ko dekho aur pia ko ready ko

Panchi: yes mom.

[pia's room]

Pia is ready. She has worn a purple and pink lehenga with silver work on it. Her hair was half tied with little curls coming on her forehead.

Panchi: wow…u luk beautiful

P: r u sure? (nervously)

M: yes u luk beautiful…abhay toh gaya aaj.

Pia blushed at her statement.

Panchi: come…lets go…guest are coming. And misha…plz dress up like a girl

M: shut up birdie..

The raichands come to dobriyal house. Pia with others come down. The guests have arrived. Abhay and pia are looking like match made in heaven. They both cant take their eyes off each other.

Arnab: hello mr.raichand. how r u?

C: m fine. Lets go there and talk.

Madhu: ya we should leave these kids alone here.

H: lets go.

Abhay and pia are still seeing each other. They cant take their eyes off each other.

S: ahem ahem….guys…we still here

Arjun: let it be…they don't bother

Panchi: sid plz…tum toh rehne do…mr.casanova

S: someone is jealous…

Panchi: why would i?

S: did I tell its u?(winking at pia)

P: alrite…enough

A: pia lets go…

Aliya: bhai where u going? U not allowd to leave this place

M: hey m here

P: yeh kya pehna hai?

M: plz pia….i cant wear anything better than this

Arnab makes an announcement.

A: welcome everyone. U all here today for my daughter's engagement pia to abhay raichand. Abhay and pia…come here…its time

Abhay and pia go near arnab. Everyone comes near them. Madhu comes with a ring and hands it to pia. Pia slides that ring on abhay's finger. Aliya also come there with ring. Pia had already passed her ring to abhay so that he can make her wear it in front of everyone. Abhay takes the ring and slides on pia's finger. Abhay kisses her hand. Pia blushes. Everyone claps.

S: I think its time for some fun… how abt dance?

Panchi: alrite then

Everyone dance on song desi girl. But abhay and pia are still luking at each other. Using this opportunity, abhay pulls pia out in the garden.

P: yeh kya kar rahe ho tum?

A: we going out of this madness

Abhay pins pia to a nearby tree. He touches her face and puts her curls behind.

P: koi aa jayega

A: aane do

P: sab dhoond rhe honge hamein

A: they knw we wil be together

Abhay comes forward and kisses her forehead. He then brushes his lips on her neck. He comes little upwards and kisses her lower lip slightly. Pia is feeling dizzy and is overjoyed. Nothing else matters to her right now. Abhay starts kissing pia on her lips passionately. Pia responds in the same way. Abhay is now holding her from her waist. Abhay leaves pia to grasp some air.

P: abhay….leave me

A: its difficult…

P: o really…then catch me if u can…

Pia pushes abhay and starts running

A: oh….u shouldn't have done this

Abhay runs and catches pia's hand. He pulls her towards him. Abhay and pia both fall in ground. They start laughing.

Sid, aliya, arjun and misha comes to garden searching for them.

Aliya: ahem ahem….

Seeing them abhay and pia get up and come to their senses. Pia blushes. Abhay gives them an irritated look.

M: tum dono jahan dekho waha chalu ho jaate ho

S: so abhay having fun ha

Arjun: tumhe kya lagta…ajj hum tumhe itne easily chodd denge…no way

S: aisa mauka baar baar thodi milta hai

Sid gives hi-5 to arjun.

M: love birds chale

A: lets go

Abhay pulls pia with him catching her through her waist.
