Chapter-2
An unpleasant surprise
''I love you shona...I love you more than anything else in the world.''
Shilpa gave a slight groan.
''If God is kind enough to give me another life...I could ask for nothing but you.''
She clutched the bed sheets.
''I wont let you do this shilpa...you know I can't stand other men gaping at you.''
She turned restlessly.
''I've warned you shilpa...I've told you that I wont tolerate this.''
She murmured something in her sleep.
''You b****'' he roared and slapped her right across her face.
Shilpa snapped open her eyes and sat bolt upright,hyperventilating.
Slowly she looked around and looked at herself.She was still in her black,net saaree but in her bedroom.
She didn't realize when she slept on the couch after crying her heart out in the silence of the night where no one would be able to hear her sobs.
To the world,she was a no-nonsense,ambitious and upright woman who was admired by some and bitched others by others...only she knew that this image was just a put up to hide the broken girl that she was...only so that she becomes cold enough to not let someone rule her heart,brain and her senses again.
Deep inside her heart,she have treasured the moments from the now non-existing relation which was once beautiful...hoping that if nothing else,she can have those moments to reminisce.
But the return of Armaan in her life once again have threatened to take away the only thing she have cling onto for the last four-and-a-half years.
She slowly turned to the other side of her bed and saw her husband sleeping peacefully.She gave a small,sad smile as she thought about the difference of personality traits Armaan and Raghav shared.
But unfortunately,she have lost the power to love someone again...and she knew Raghav would never complain as any which ways this was a contract marriage.
She got up to change herself in a more comfortable outfit.

He smirked looking at the contents of the glass and chugged it down in one go.This was th nth number of peg he had since the party started.
His dad Rajveer came down and threw a disgusted look at his son.He ordered one of the servant's to help him reach his bedroom once he thinks he had enough.The servant just nodded in affirmation.
''Shi...shilpa...malhotra...nope...Mrs Rathore...nah...Shona...my shona...only mine'' he spat out the last two words gritting his teeth and threw the glass on the ground,breaking it into pieces.
He knew what he have to do next.He have taken over Panache after he learned that this is one of the few brands Shilpa is still modelling for,made a new contract and tricked her into signing it and made sure she sees him before she could be alerted of the doom that was to come.
No one...mind you no one walks over Armaan Mallik like that...and he'll make sure Shilpa pays for what she had done.

Two days later
Shilpa got a call from Panches' office asking her to come soon as there was some important work for her.
She got a nagging feeling that this might be one of Armaan's tricks but she dismissed the thought and got inside her car to reach there.
On reaching her destination,she was greeted by a bouquet of red roses-red her favourite colour.
There was also a sticky note attached to it which read...
We met...parted ways...and met again.Co-incidence or not,isn't it beautiful?
She read the note and she knew what was waiting for her.She knew Armaan more than he knew himself.
''Ma'm,sir is calling you in his cabin,'' a woman came and informed her to which Shilpa nodded politely.

Armaan looked at his reflection in the glass and ran his fingers to comb it.He then unbuttoned the top three-four buttons of his shirt and threw his head on the headrest of his chair and closed his eyes.
''May I come in Mr Mallik'' asked the anticipated soft voice.
''Hmm'' he replied,now looking straight.
