Part 27
When Rajji returned she panicked on not finding Geet. She called her cell, but no response as the cell was in the bag which was still in the car. Then she tried Maan's number still no response as he too has left the cell on the dashboard. Rajji rushed to the mansion to find Nakul in the kitchen.
N: yes, she is in Maan sir's room
R: why?
N: she fainted and he brought her here as you were not there
R: fainted??
And she went to Maan's room to find both sleeping peacefully, she on bed holding his wrist and he on the floor resting his head on the bed.
She smiled and thought there is something going on between the two, but what, but then both are of caring nature there may not be any thing, both are so introvert and shy may be the similarity in their nature developed some unknown bond between them, but Rajji you should keep a watch on them there sure is some under current running between them, both are to comfortable with each other, and this Nakul also does not seem to mind their togetherness, something sure missed her eager eyes, when she was not here there sure something, but Rajji her holding his wrist is not at all scandalous, still '
Her thoughts were interrupted as Nakul came in
N: shall I wake them up
R no, its ok, let them sleep, I too will settle somewhere here, until nature wakes them,
Nakul too settled in the corridor near the room on a settee
at about 5 in the morning she shifted and opened her eyes to find him sleeping on the floor with his head resting on the bed; he had not changed and was still in his office attire; she still was holding his wrist; the door of the room was open and someone sleeping near it; and then she saw Rajji sleeping on the couch; she instantly pulled her hand and the suddenness woke him up; he looked at her for a while and smiled remembering the previous days happenings; she indicated in Rajji's direction; he saw her and then as she pointed at the door he saw Nakul sleeping there; both looked at each other some what surprised and some what amused; and then out of no where started giggling; and in no time they were laughing their heads out.
This woke both Rajji and Nakul, the older man quickly rushed to freshen up and Rajji stood up complaining
R: why are you two laughing? OMG it was so uncomfortable to sleep on a couch
M: BTW why were you sleeping on it?
R: then should I leave her here alone with you
M: stupid, you would have slept on the bed with her, it is quite big I suppose or did you think that I might have wanted to use that space
R: oh it never struck me
G: BTW Di why did you not wake me?
R: you twp were looking so sweet that I did not have in me to disturb you
Maan was rubbing his eyes again and again
G: Maan, what happened?
M: it's itching
G: don't rub; I think the lens got struck
M: It might have
G: come sit here let me take it out (and she instantly got up,
Rajji noticed how well Geet knew her in his room, she opened exactly the correct drawer and pulled some solution and dropped in his eyes) now lie down and relax, I'll just wash my hands (and she went to the washroom unescorted, came out opened the almirah extracted a clean napkin, all the time Rajji wondered how she knew what was where) ok open your eyes (she again pulled lens case out of a drawer and got his lens out of his eyes, he did not even wince once, immersed the lens in the solution, took another eye drop and dropped 2 drops in his eyes, then she took out his specs case and opened it) where are the specs Maan
M: it must be in the drawer I used them last to last night
G: then drawer and case is the last place they can be, you are so careless always keeping them here and there
M: no I kept them here in the right drawer
G: Maan, grow up, they are not here, ok what did you wear last to last night
M: blue PJ
She went to the almirah and pulled out the PJ and there were they resting in the pocket
G: wear them and relax and no lens today
M: but meeting
G: you look hot in those specs NT got you
M: Geet
G: remember how Mrs. Chopra drools over bespectacled man
M: I do business with Mr. Chopra
G: but she will join us for lunch (giggled)
Rajji was getting more and more confused, now she was sure kuch to daal main kaala hain
Nakul came in with 3 glasses of juice, after emptying their glasses Rajji and Geet ran to their place to get ready as it was already 6 and they had a big day waiting in their respective work places.
