Part 37

He rushed from there to go to her room but stopped in between when he heard some voices. they were talking abt Geet. Kahin wo us past ke baare me to nahi. He just leaned behind the wall & stood there to listen to them.

Brij: Thaiji plz kam se kam aap to samjhiye naa. isme geet ki kyaa galti thi. ek nanahi si jaan bhala aisa kyun kaegi huh. hai aapke paas koi jawab??
Thaiji: Dekh puttar mai nahi janti ki woh aisa kyun karegi par daarji sahi the iss ladki ko janm dene ka faisla sabse galat faisla tha iski maa ka. dekh naa abb do do logo ki jaan leli ahi isne
Brij: Thaiji ho kyaa gaya hai aap sab logo ko. aap samajte kyun nahi hai isme uski kuch galti nahi hai. plz iss baat ko samjhiye.
Thaiji: To abb tu mujhe samjhayega ki kyaa sahi hai aur kyaa galat. Daarji bilkul sahi kehte hain wo manhus hai
Brij: Bas thaiji bahut sun liya maine. abb mai apni behen ke khilaf ek shabd nahi sunna chahta hun. bahut ho gaya hai. abb bas kijiye aap log
Thaiji: Puttar tu apno ka to muh band kar dega par baki gaun walon ka kyaa?? Aur ek baar dekh apni maa ko zara. sadme me hai wo. sab iss kudi ki wajah se.
Brij: Galat. wo sadme me hain. aur wo iss wajah se kyunki aap log apni hi ghar ki beti par aise bebuniyad ilzam laga rahe hain. aisa kar kaise sakte hain aap log.
Thaiji: Dekh brij tu jaa yahan se. Mai kahin gusse me kuch bol naa dun tujhe. jaa tu
He just left from there not noticing maan had heard everything.

Maan went to her room & closed the door. He sat beside her holding her hand. His mind was lingering on that conversation of brij & thaiji. Akhir baat kyaa hai. Do logo ki maut geet ki wajah se. Ye ho kyaa gaya hai in logo ko. Agar geet ke papaji nahi rahe to bhala isme geet ka kyaa kasur hai. Par aur kaun hai jiske bare me thaiji keh rahi thi. Ye log aisa soch bhi kaise sakte hain. Kyaa kyaa nahi keh diya unhone geet ko. Lekin agar geet ko pata chalega to wo to tut hi jayegi. Itni sari musibatein wo bhi ek sath. Nahi mai meri geet ke sath rahunga mai use tutne nahi de sakta.
He was snapped out when he heard her sobs. She was sobbing in sleep taking his name. He held her hand. Geet mai yahin hun tumhare paas
She hugged him in sleep. They just kept hugging each other like that for quite some time. It was almost night & maan was also feeling tired. He just dozed off hugging her & holding her hand.

After some time Brij came there with dinner. When he saw them he was truly mesmerized by what he saw. Finally gudiya ko koyi mil hi gaya jo sirf us se pyaar karta hai. Rab kaa lakh lakh shukr hai ki maan iske sath hai I'm sure ki wo ise zarur sambhal lega.

He woke them up. Maan Geet jaldi utho dinner thanda ho raha hai. dekho 8 baj rahe hain utho jaldi se.

They both woke up & when they saw in wat position were they in they looked totally flushed. Brij smiled inwardly & diverted them. Chalo chalo dinner karo jaldi se. Aayo jaldi.

He had arranged their dinner on the small center table kept there. Geet curiously asked him veerji yahan kyun. sab ke sath karenge naa
Brij: Nahi gudiya. aaj hum teeno ek sath dinner karenge. tu itne dino baad ayi hai naa. Purani yaadein taza ho jayengi. Aur abb to maan bhi hai to double maza aayega. Chalo aayo tum dono. khana thanda ho jayega.
They quietly obeyed him & had the dinner silently. Geet was feeling really awkward. Kuch to zarur hua hai. Haan zarur sab log mujh se naraz hai tabhi veerji hamesha ki tarah dinner yahan le aaye. Aur abb to papaji bhi nahi ki mai unse puchu kyaa hua hai. A tear escaped her eyes. Maan noticed it & immidiately wiped it. He nodded his head asking her not to cry. She nodded her head in acceptance. Brij just smiled seeing them. Their love, their care, & their concern for each other was so true. Their love was so true. It was the purest thing in this world like my Geet.. but sab log najane kya soch rahe hain uske bare me he wondered.

They had the dinner silently & Brij took maan to the guest room. Maan ye tumhara room. I know itna acha nahi hai but wo.
Maan: nahi nahi brij its prfect.. bahut acha hai
They both said goodnight to each other & brij went from there. Maan knew Geet needed him & atleast he should say goodnight to her brij ke samne to theek se nahi bol paya abhi bolta hun.
He sneaked to her room through the window that was connected to the back of the house.
She screamed. Kaun hai
He closed her mouth with his palm. Shh Geet main hun. chup bilkul chup koi aa naa jaye
Geet: Maan aap yahan kyaa kar rahe ho. kisi ne dekh liya to.
He closed the door. Bas abb to koi nahi dekhega.
Geet: Maan aap bhi naa
He inched closer. Geet mai bhi naa kyaa??
