Part 20

They both left together from the office..

They reached the parking area.. Maan opened the car door for her.. n made her sit inside.. then he sat on the driver seat.. It was quite a silent drive..

Finally.. he broke the silence..

Maan: Geet.. hum pahuch gayen hain..

Geet: Really sir.. but mujhe to yahan jungle ke siva kuch nahi dikh raha hai..

Maan: Geet.. tum bas dekhti jayo..

He came n opened the door.. n let her out..

She walked a bit.. Maan came from behind n tied a cloth on her eyes..

Geet: Sir.. yeh aap kyaa kar rahe hain..

Maan: Geet.. tum bas aage chalo..

Geet: Nahi sir.. wo..mujhe andhere se dar lagta hai..

Maan holds her hand.. n says: I'm always wid u.. so no need to be scared of anything in this world.. har cheez ko tumse takrane se pehle mujhse takrana hoga.. I.. He stopped..

Geet was really happy.. in a way he confessed his feelings.. which he always do.. in some way or other.. he tells her.. how imp she is for him..

Geet: Haan sir.. boliye naa aage..

Maan: Nahi.. kuch nahi Geet.. wo I was saying.. I'm with u..

He wsa surprised.. this time she was teasing him.. Geet.. abb mai tumhe iska jawab zarur dunga.. he wondered n smirked

He held her hand.. n took her a little more ahead..

He left her hand.. opened her eyes.. n went sumwhr..

Geet looked around.. she cud not see him.. she got worried..

Geet: Maan sir.. aap kahan ho..

Suddenly he came from the back.. n hugged her.. he whispered.. Happy B'day..

Geet was stunned.. Sir.. aap ko kaise..

Maan: Mujhe sab pata hai.. Geet

A tear escaped her eye.. this was her birthday.. even she didn't remembered it.. but Maan.. he knew it.. its been 5 yrs today.. since she hates this day.. but now how can she hate it.. now there is someone in his life.. who will be always with her.. she wondered..

Maan turned her.. so that she face him.. n cupped her face..

Maan: Geet.. kyaa hua..??

She didn't reply..

Maan: Ghar se kisi ne wish nahi kia??

Geet: Wo..

Maan: Chalo.. rehne do.. I hav something for u..

Geet: Really.. kyaa??

Maan: Close ur eyes..

Geet: Phir se

Maan: Plz.. 4 mee..

Geet closed her eyes.. he took her hand.. n slipped a diamond ring in her hands..

She opened her eyes.. her eyes popped out with wat she saw!!

A diamond ring blending perfectly with gold.. The combination of diamonds with gold.. gave that additional touch of elegance to it.. Those stunning diamonds were arranged admist fine gold.. she was really stunned seeing it.. The first thing she said.. Yeh kitni mehngi hogi..!!

Maan: Naa.. tumhare mukable in diamonds ki kimat kuch bhi nahi..

Geet: Par sir.. mai.. mai yeh nahi le sakti..

Maan: Geet.. I understand.. but.. plz.. mere liye..

Geet: Nahi sir..plz.. I can't take this.. yeh kitni expensive hai.. nahi nahi

Maan: Geet tumhe meri kasam.. plz

Geet: Sir.. aap samaj nahi rahe hain..plz

Maan: Geet.. abb maine tumhe kasam dedi hai.. so u will hav to take it..

She couldn't do anything.. but listen to him.. That's wat he always make her do.. He always makes her do wat he wants.. n she do it.. GEET do it.. bcoz she don't knw hw to say no to him!!

Maan: Chalo.. lets cut the cake..

Geet turned around.. now she saw.. there was a cake there.. it was soo beautifull.. she thought..

Geet: Woww.. this is soo nice..

They cut the cake together.. Maan gave a bite to Geet.. n then she gave a bite to him..

They had candle light dinner.. romance was in the air..

But no wonder.. Maan Singh Khurana had arranged it!!

They left the plce after sum time.. In the car.. geet asked Maan abt that favor..

Maan: Geet.. wo.. mujhe tumhara fav cake nahi pata tha naa.. to I said her to order it..

Geet: Aru ko mera b'day yaad tha??

Maan: Hmm..

Geet: To phir usne wish kyun nahi kiya..??

Maan: U were late today.. remember.. to u just rushed to the office.. aur jab tum bolna shuru karti ho.. then nobody gets a chance to speak..

Geet: Kyaa??

Maan: Nahi.. kuch nahi..

Geet: To.. mai itna bolti hun..

They kept arguing like that until they reached home..

Maan kissed on herhead n wished her again.. they waved goodbye..

AROHI'S HOUSE

Geet went inside.. there Arohi was waiting for her..she wished her Happy B'day n also said sorry for wishing late..

Geet: Issme teri kya galti hai.. mai hi to jaldi se bhag gayi thi subah.. chal mujhe bht neend aa rahi hai.. gud night..

Arohi: Ok.. gud nite.. happy b'day again..

Geet: Thanks..

She went to her room..

GEET'S ROOM..

She freshened up n lied down on her bed.. It was her b'day today.. how cud she forget! This was the day wen she got to knw the biggest truth of her life.. She was taken back to her 16^th b'day..

FLASHBACK 5 yrs back..

It was her 16^th b'day today. She was thanking babaji for giving her such a nice family.. this was her daily routine.. to thank babaji for her family..

Geet: Babaji.. mai apka kaise shukriya karun.. aapne mujhe itna acha parivar diya..Sab mujhse kitna pyaar karte hain naa

Just then papaji entered the room..

Papaji: Haan gudiya.. Tujhe babaji ka abhar manna chahiye ki tumhe is parivar se intna pyaar milta hai..

Geet: Papaji.. mere babaji aur mera parivar to hai hi sabse acha.. to pyaar to milega hi naa..

Papaji: Bete.. abb tu badi ho gayi hai.. samajdar bhi ho gayi hai..Aaj mai tujhe kuch batana chahta hun..

Geet: Ji papaji.. batayiye naa..

Papaji: Gudiya.. tujhe yaad hai maine tujhe teri buaji ke bare me bataya tha..

Geet: Ji Papaji..

Papaji: Beta.. unhone ek gudiya ko janm diya tha.. par uske bad hi unhone dam tod diya tha.. Aur wahin dusri taraf.. tumhari mumma ne bhi ek bache ko janm diya tha.. par shayad hamari kismet me wo tha nahi.. wo iss duniya me ate hi chala gaya.. Tumhari buaji ne dum todne se pehle mujhse wada liya tha ki mai uss gudiya kaa dhyan rakhun.. kyunki Daarji ko.. aur pure parivar ko wo bachi manzur nahi thi.. wo log use manhus samajhne lage the.. wo log apni ghar ki beti ki maut ka intzaam us nanhi si jaan par laga rahe the.. un logo ko yahi bataya gaya.. ki wo bachi anathashram me de di gayi hai.. Lekin Geet.. wo bachi.. he paused.. not able to speak ahead..

Geet: Papaji.. dasso naa.. wo bachi kyaa??

Papaji: Geet.. wo bachi.. TU HAI

She was stunned.. she couldn't believe that.. but she had to.. this was the truth..

This is wat life is.. it always gives u the most unexpected shocks.. some makes us happy.. some sad.. but some.. changes our lives for ever.. n this was the first shock of Geet's life.. n there were more to face.. but she didn't knew it then..

Gr8 part bt Mahima, was this d truth!!srsly! I mean there u were yesterday telling tht d truth can separate maaneet n pain n stuff... Bt i seriously wanna know how this kind of truth can affect d relationship of maaneet... I mean ofc d truth is horrible, bound to shake sm ones life, bt that applies majorly to her family naa. N with maan, we all know he is so mature:-) there may be prob from dadis side maybe, bt with maaneet, i dont think this cud separate them!lookin 4ward to d next one!
