I just recently watched the episodes in the run up to duttas exit. initially didnt watch coz already knew where the story was going via the comments here. but on watching them i was left feeling horrified. I dont think the cv's could have found a more sadistic and depressing end to what was supposed to be the epic love story of dutta and nakusha. the man and his wife finally look as if theyre going to get some happiness following a lifetime of sheer unhappiness, hurt, bitterness, anger. nakku is standing there praying for this moment of happiness to last, and whats happening in the meantime? it looks as if dutta is being murdered and being painfully carted off in the back of a van.. what message were the cv's trying to give? any tragic ending makes us feel sad, but what makes this story worse is the fact that dutta was portrayed so well that he was almost real. the build of tasha, thebuild up of the love, has been by far one of the best portrayals i have ever seen on indian tv. it just a shame that it was brought crAshing down. to be truly memorable a story like this should end on the note of some hope. the audience should get the sense that, although dutta might be dead...he is going to live on for nakku eternally. you want the feeling that in the end they will still be together. not that she goes crazy and will move onto diggu. this ending was downright miserable.
sorry for the rant, i know people will have long got over this now
