Chapter 5Pyaar ke side effects - Confusions and Tensions ;)
Taani, Anurag and Mayank were in a room having some chit-chat. Nupur came running in the room in a super excited mood and hugged Anurag. All were astonished and thinking why Nupur was so happy. After the bro-sis broke their hug..
Anurag [curious]- Kya hua tujhe Nupur? Itna khush kyun dikh rahi hai?
Nupur [happy and excited]- Dada, singing competition ke waha se phone aaya tha, unhone kaha ke kal subha audition hai.
Anurag [very happy]- Wow nupur, thats a great news. Congrats sis! I am sure ke aab woh din jyada dur nahin hai jab tu iss desh ki mashur singer kehelayegi.
Everyone was happy hearing the news. Mayank was smiling all the way. It seemed from his expressions that he was feeling out of the world seeing Nupur smiling. Her smile is so beautiful, he thought. He kept staring at the angelic Nupur and smiled continuously.Taani noticed that.
"Aaj bhai kuch alag nahin lag raha hai? I mean, pehele bhi yeh muskurata tha par aaj iski muskurahat mein kuch jyada hi nahin hai? Aur aise Nupur ko ghure jaa rahe hai jaise ki woh isse..." Taani thought confusingly.
Suddenly, her expressions changed into super excitement.
"Ek minute! Kahin mere dimaag mein jo aa raha hai, woh toh nahin?" Taani thought and smiled.
"Congrats Nupur. Main tere liye bohot khush hoon." Taani told Nupur smilingly and hugged her.
Nupur smilingly said to Taani, "Thanks a lot Taani."
After they broke their hug, Nupur got busy talking with Anurag. Taani looked at Mayank who was still staring at Nupur and smilingly. She teasingly smiled and pinched him.
"Aaaooouucchh!" Mayank shouted.
Anurag and Nupur turned their faces toward Mayank.
"Kya hua Mayank?" Anurag asked confusingly.
"Aap theek toh hai naa?" Nupur asked worriedly.
Mayank felt nervous. He cleared his throat.
"Haan haan! Main theek hoon. Mere ko kya hua? Main ekdum theek hoon." Mayank told.
Mayank went to Nupur and smilingly said, "Congrats Nupur. Main janta hoon ke tu bohot aage jaayegi."
"Thanks for the compliment, Mayank ji." Nupur smilingly replied.
Taani somehow managed to suppress her laughter. But she clearly understood what was going on with Mayank. Just then her eyes went on Anurag. He was smilingly talking to Nupur and seeing him smile was making her smile.
After a minute, she thought annoyingly, "Yeh bar bar mere dimag mein kya ajib baatein aa jaate hai? Hey bhagwaan...please mujhe inn stupid baato mein mat ghasito."

It was night. Anurag and Nupur were in Nupur's room -
Anurag- Tu aab soja, kal subha main tujhe audition pe leke chalunga.
Nupur- Theek hai dada. Good night.
Anurag- Good night sis.
As both wished each other good night, they hugged. Anurag kissed Nupur on her forehead and left.

It was midnight. Anurag and Nupur were sleeping but Mayank and Taani were awake. They were lying in their own rooms and were in deep thoughts of everything that happened that day.
"Ek hi din mein kitne sab kuch ho gaya." Taani said.
"Sab kuch kitna badla badla lag raha hai." Mayank said and smiled.
"Anurag ke liye jo feel kia maine woh akhir kya tha?" Taani said confusingly.
"Kabhi nahin socha tha ke pehele mulakat mein hi kisi ke liye aisa feel karne lagunga." Mayank said and blushed.
"Peheli nazar ka pyaar toh sirf kitaabo mein hi hota hai, toh phir mere saath kyun..?" Taani said and remained confused.
"Main nupur se apni dil ki baat jaldi hi bol dunga." Mayank said.
His expressions suddenly changed into worry.
"Nahin nahin! Pehele thodi dosti barani chahiye, uss ke baad bol dunga." He said.
"Par agar meri sacchai jaane ke baad Nupur mujhse dur chali gayi, toh?" He said worriedly.
"Uff! Main aise hi iss pyaar ko apne upar haavi nahin hone dungi, aur woh bhi ek aise insaan ke liye jise main janti bhi nahin? Pehele mujhe yeh janna hoga ke woh kaisa insaan hai." Taani thought determinently.
"Haaan! Main Anurag ka test lungi. Kuch aise situations create karungi ke uski qualities...acchi ho ya buri, bahar aa jaaye. Uss ke baad kuch sochungi." Taani thought and smiled.
"Pata nahin yeh jaankar ke main kya kaam karta hoon, Nupur kaise react karegi." Mayank said to himself worriedly.

Mayank was feeling thirsty. He looked at his side-table but there was so water jug. So he got up from bed and headed toward the kitchen. On the way was Nupur's room. While passing by Nupur's room, he realized that Nupur was blabbering something in her sleep.
He stopped, turned back and went inside Nupur's room. He went near her and put his hand on her forehead.
"Nupur, nupur, tu theek toh hai naa?" He asked concernedly.
Nupur kept blabbering in her sleep and she was sweating a lot, maybe because of fear. Mayank saw that, got worried and increased the speed of the fan. He sat near her and kept moving his hand on Nupur's forehead.
"Nupur, Nupur, kya hua tujhe? Tu theek hai naa? Nupur.." He again asked concernedly and worriedly.
Suddenly, Nupur quickly sat and hugged Mayank tightly. Mayank was amazed and speechless.

Nupur apologized to Mayank for hugging him in such an uneasy way last night..
A girl went to Anurag and said, "Hey handsome, wanna take me on a ride?"
Taani was looking at this scene from far away at a corner. (guess why!😉)
