Chapter 4 - "Dost ban gaye hum"
Taani kept looking at Anurag in the way that she had never seen such a hawt man before. "Too attracting!" Taani thought. Just then, Anurag's eyes went on Taani's face where he saw that she was looking at him. When Anurag looked, Taani lowered her eyes in embarassment. After lighting the fire, Anurag sat down. Both were in front of each other and the bonfire was between them. Taani was thinking what to say and how to say. After a silence of five minutes, Taani looked at him and said...
Taani (slow voice): Thank you, meri jaan bachaane ke liye.
Anurag (smilingly): Your welcome.
Taani smiled in an awkward way. After a lot of thinking...
Taani (hesitated): Ek baat poochu?
Anurag: Haan poocho.
Taani (curiously): Tu toh mere ko pehechanta bhi nahin. Phir tune meri jaan kyun bachaayi?
Anurag (smilingly): Insaaniyat ke khaatir. Tumhi bataao, agar koi tumhare saame kisi ko maarne ke liye jaaye toh tum uski jaan nahin bachaayogi kya?
Taani nodded positively.
Anurag: Simple! Maine bhi wahi kia.
Taani smiled hearing Anurag's reply.
Anurag (friendly): Waise, iss bachaane waale ko apna naam bol sakti ho, agar koi problem naa ho toh.
Taani laughed a little.
Taani (smilingly): Mera naam Taani hai, aur tera?
Anurag (smilingly): Anurag...Anurag Chatterjee!
Taani (curiously): Accha naam hai! Par iska matlab kya hai?
Anurag (smilingly): Anurag ka matlab hai "Pyaar"...
When Anurag spoke the word "Pyaar", Taani's expressions changed. She felt strange when she heard it. Just then, she saw that Anurag was worried.
Taani (concernedly): Tu itna pareshaan kyun dikh raha hai? Koi problem hai kya?
Anurag (sadly): Haan woh mere saath meri behen bhi Mumbai aayi huyi thi. Par pichle railway station mein mera train chut gaya aur hum dono alag ho gaye. Abhi woh Mumbai mein hi hai par pata nahin kaha! Upar se yeh dange. Mujhe bohot fikar ho rahi hai.
Taani: Kahi tu Nupur ka bhai toh nahin?
Anurag (shocked and confused): Haan! Par tum Nupur ko kaise janti ho?
Taani: Woh aaj dopahar mein Nupur mere bhai Mayank ko mili thi. Bechaari bohot worried thi. Upar se uska saman bhi chori ho gaya tha aur kuch gunde usse pareshaan kar rahe the. Theek time pe mera bhai waha aaya aur usse bachaaya. Abhi woh usse ghar le gaya. Kyuki station mein aise akele rahena dangerous tha naa.
Anurag took a sigh of relief and smiled a bit.
Anurag: Thank God ke Nupur theek hai. Tumhare bhai bohot acche insaan hai.
Taani (smilingly): Woh toh hai. Akhir mera bhai hai. Accha sun, main Nupur se teri baat karwaata hoon, ruk.
Taani took out her phone from her purse. Seeing "no network coverage" signal on the screen, she became sad.
Anurag: Kya hua? Udaas kyun ho gayi?
Taani (sadly): Woh network nahin hai.
Anurag: Rehne do. Koi baat nahin! Nupur theek hai, yeh sunkar maan ko shaanti mili. Accha suno, aaj raat toh hum bahar nahin jaa sakte. Iss liye aaj yehi rukte hai. Kal subha chale jayenge aur phir tum mujhe Nupur se milwa dena. Theek hai naa?
Taani (smilingly nodded positively): Theek hai.
Anurag (smilingly): Good night!
Taani (smilingly): Good night!
Both lied down and slept.

Mayank and Nupur were madly searching for Anurag and Taani. Seeing the condition of the city, Nupur seemed scared.
Mayank: Main tujhse kaha tha ke tu ghar pe reh par nahin, tujhe toh aana hi tha. Aab dekh liya ke kyun maine kaha tha tujhe ghar mein rahene ko? Tere chehre pe saaf dikh raha hai ke tu darr rahi hai.
Nupur didn't respond. She was just looking at the cars and stalls which were burning with fire. Her face was reflecting that she was hell scared. Mayank noticed that.
Mayank (worriedly looking at Nupur): Tu theek toh hai naa? Itna kyun darr rahi hai? Mere sivaaye yaha aur koi nahin hai.
Nupur (shivering voice): Mujhe aag se darr lagta hai.
Mayank (confused): Par kyun?
Nupur (emotionally and frightenedly): Mujhe bachaane te huye bauji ne apni jaan gawaadi aur unke maut ke baad maa ne khud ko jalaakar khud khushi karli. Tab se mujhe aag se darr lagta hai.
Mayank felt very bad for Nupur. He wanted to console her by taking her in his arms. But he stopped doing so. He just put his hand on her shoulder and said...
Mayank (in a consoling voice): Dekh! Humhe khud ke darr ko kaabu mein rakhna chahiye. Aise darr paalke jeene se koi faayda nahin hai. Isse kuch haasil nahin hoga balki...
Just then he saw some goons carrying hockey sticks and sharp swords were coming toward them. He made a shocked expression. Quickly he grabbed Nupur's hand and both ran as fast as they could. They hid inside a narrow space between two walls. As the space was narrow so they were very close to each other. Nupur was resting her head on Mayank's chest in fear and Mayank was holding her by her arms in a way to make her feel that he was with her to protect her. After a few minutes, when the goons were gone, they came out from that narrow space. In the meantime, both realised that they were so close to each other. Both were feeling kind of uneasy.
Mayank: Chal! Unn dono ko dhudhte hai.
Nupur nodded positively. Both headed toward another way.

It was morning now. A ray of sunshine came inside the cottage where Anurag and Taani spend their night through the window. Taani slowly woke up. She yawned. When she turned her face to ther other side, she saw the hawttest man who was sleeping in the most cuttest manner, just like a baby. She smiled seeing him like that and went close to him. She ran her hand through his hairs and walked near the window. She stood there with folded arms and was looking outside.
"Kal hi isse mili aur tab se yeh kya ho raha hai mere saath? Mere ko "love at first sight" ka symptoms kyun aa rahe hai?" Taani thought confusingly but smilingly.
"Nahin nahin! Yeh peheli nazar ka pyaar sirf kitaabo aur filmo mein hota hai, asli zindagi mein yeh sab thodi hota hai? Main sirf uski taraf attracted hoon aur attraction aur pyaar dono alag alag cheez hoti hai." Taani made herself understood.
Anurag told in his sleep, "Nupur, ek cup chaaye laana!"
Taani (smilingly): Anurag, Anurag...
Anurag woke up and looked around.
Anurag: Oh sorry! Aksar main neend mein yeh keheta hoon. Mujhe subha subha chaaye pine ki adaat hai naa.
Taani: Koi baat nahin! Aise hota hai. Abhi chal, ghar chalte hai. Tujhe Nupur se milna bhi toh hai naa?
Anurag quickly stood up and said...
Anurag (broad smile): Haan Chalo!
Taani said while both were heading outside the cottage...
Taani (smilingly): Ghar pe chaaye pi lena.
Anurag rubbed his finger on his forehead and said...
Anurag (little laugh): Haha! Theek hai.

Mayank and Nupur were walking here and there in the house. Both were very worried.
Mayank: Kitne jaaga dhunda par kahin nahin mile woh dono.
Nupur: Pata nahin, kaha honge, kis haalat mein honge.
Just then, both hear a knock at the door. Both turn their faces toward the doorway where they see Anurag and Taani standing. All four broadly smile seeing each other. Taani walked to Mayank. Nupur ran toward Anurag and hugged him.
Nupur: Kaali maa ka shukar hai Onu Da ke aap mil gaye. Kitna pareshaan ho gayi main, pata hai aap ko? Phir kabhi bhi mujhe chod kar mat jana please.
Anurag: Main bhi bohot pareshaan ho gaya tha tere liye. Par aab tujhe sahi salamat dekh kar dil ko shaanti mili.
After this bro-sis emotional talks, Anurag and Nupur walked to Mayank and Taani who were standing there.
Anurag (to Mayank): Meri behen ko bachaane ke liye thank you so much. Zindagi bhar yeh ehsaan nahin bhulunga. Thank you very much!
Mayank (to Anurag): Shukria toh mere ko tera karna chahiye. Abhi Taani ne mujhe kaha ke tune iski jaan bachaayi. Bohot bohot shukria mere dost!
Taani (came in between them): Accha aab yeh thank you ka silsila bohot ho gaya. Anurag ne mere ko bachaaya aur mere bhai ne Nupur ko bachaaya. Baat khatam! Abhi thoda sa chaaye ho jaaye? (teasingly smiled) Waise bhi yeh Anurag neend mein bhi chaaye maang raha tha.
Nupur (laughing): Sach mein? (shaking her head and looking at Anurag who was feeling embarassed) Dada aap bhi naa!
Anurag (feeling embaraassed): Kya Taani! Tum bhi naa!
All laughed seeing the innocent and embarassed Anurag.
Anurag (cutely): Accha aab sab hasna bandh karo please. Mujhe embarass feel ho raha hai yaar.
Mayank (smilingly): Accha theek hai par ek saath chaaye toh pi hi sakte hai naa?
Nupur: Nahin Mayank ji, humhe aab jana padhega.
Mayank: Par kyun? Tu aur Anurag yehi rahe jaa naa.
Anurag: Nahin Mayank! Hum chalte hai. Waise bhi tumne ek ehsaan kar hi diya hai, aab aur nahin.
Taani shook her hand and slammed her hand on her forehead.
Mayank: Arey tu bhi naa! Main tere par ek ehsaan kia toh tune bhi toh mere par ehsaan kia naa? Iss liye tu aur Nupur yehi rahega aab se.
Nupur: Par...?
Taani: Par kya?
Anurag: Par hum log yaha kaise rahe sakte hai? Mera matlab hai ke aise..?!?!
Mayank: Accha theek hai, jab tak tujhe ek accha khasa naukri aur rahene ko ek ghar nahin mil jaata, tab tak toh tu yehi rahe sakta hai naa?
Taani: Haan please! Rahe jaa naa! Nupur, tu hi kuch bol tere dada ko.
Nupur looked at Anurag confusingly.
Anurag (smilingly): Accha theek hai!
Everyone smiled but Taani's and Mayank's smiles were very broad. (guess why!đ)
Mayank (smilingly): Great! So aaj se hum charo ek saath rahenge. Toh abhi hum dost huye naa? (puts forward his hand)
Anurag (smilingly): Haan! (keeps his hand on Mayank's hand)
Taani kept her hand on Anurag's hand. With the feel of Anurag's touch, she felt amazing. She felt her heart beating in the fastest mode and a strange satisfaction within herself. Nupur smilingly kept hand on Taani's hand which made Taani come out of her dream world.

All four had lunch all together and they were having lots of fun...
Mayank and Taani were in dream world of Nupur and Anurag...
Mayank was talking with someone on his phone planning for their next dacoiting and when he turned back, he saw Nupur and was shocked...
Anurag asked Taani that where she goes at the evening because usually works happened to be in the morning... Taani was shocked and don't know what to answer...
A voiceover says, "Abhi abhi huyi hai inki dosti ki shuruwat, par kahin Mayank aur Taani ki asliyat todne naa inn chaaro ki dosti!"
