Vishal nursing a heartbreak

It was rumoured that the leading couple of Pratha,Vishal Karwal and Shalini Chandran had a thing going on (which they denied) until the lad started bringing his girlfriend Komal Kaur to the shoot.

The off-screen camaraderie of Karwal and Chandran fizzled out eventually but the male lead wasn't sulking as he had his lady love by his side. Vishal met Komal six months ago but dated her for only two months before calling off the relationship for reasons best known to the couple. A source close to the actor informs, "Vishal found Komal too interfering. She never gave him his much-needed space.

Things went out of control and that's when Vishal decided to end the affair." However, Vishal says, "She was anything but an interfering girlfriend. Reasons are too personal to be disclosed and I wouldn't say anything that is disrespectful to her. Whatever happens, happens for good. So in the end I am happy." The actor insisted that though it was a brief affair, he was very serious about the relationship. We hope that Vishal soon finds someone to help him trudge through the bad phase.
