Ragini felt secure and content ,as if cocooned in his warmth,her heart sang songs with birds and she sank back against him,hiding her face in his shoulder,he kissed top of her head softly and both of them stood listening to sounds of nature. They were so lost in themselves that they did not hear approaching footsteps or sudden halt and sharp intake of breath.
Vasundhra felt betrayed ..angry ...she couldn't bear the contentment this picture portrayed,it reminded her of peace of mind which she did not have...she cleared her throat and both looked back ,startled; Ragini was flustered ,she tried to move away from Anmol but he held her softly by holding her waist and looked at vasundhra , she looked disgusted and opened her mouth to speak but closed again ,instead she looked accusingly at Ragini.
Ragini struggled to move away from Anmol and mumbled mummyji wo bus chadhta suraj dekh rahe they......pointing to wards golden rays of hope who were playing hide and seek with dark corners and shadows...
anmol kept her close,forcing her to stop struggling while never leaving vasundhra's eyes..there was hint of challenge in his eyes and his lips had a soft hint of smile; he saw a struggling woman, a mother; a unhappy mother and .smiling photo of his mother and Nani flashed in front of his eyes; he blinked;his gaze softened; after all he loved this woman whole heartedly ;.and then pointed her to wards the golden rays again,sun was up even higher now and all the shadows had disappeared.she looked at the display and looked back at Anmol ,her gaze confused and questing,
Anmol left ragini's side and moved forward and grabbed stunned vasundhra's hands ,his eyes intent he caught her gaze and said Please Mrs Rajvansh lets look for wards to wards golden future...our future...and smiled indulgently at beaming Tammy who was running full speed into kitchen into his arms,pushing him back wards ;he held her close and closed his eyes...
Ragini and Vasundhra both looked at the picture the pair of them were making,sunlight was falling on their faces,one had closed his eyes to savour this momment making both these women feel very small indeed,as both had been the reason of seperation of these two souls.
The little angelic face was smilling like winter sun coming out of clouds to melt away the frozen mist on the windows of mind...Vasundhra was amazed at the sparkle in Tammy's eyes, her face was animated looking up at her loving Dad with such open love on her face,she felt as if she was invading on a very private moment,she looked away and blinked away those uninvited tears .
suddenly Animated voice of Tammy broke the momment and the chaos to get kids a breakfast started , a relaxed brunch was served, Ragini got so busy with it that she failed to notice anmol had gone to his study with a big file and cup of tea.
Anmol sat with his laptop and open file in front of his desk, his forgotten cup of tea laying on the side.He had two horizontal lines on his forehead and one finger was absently rubbing those lines as if trying to erase them. The deadline to Report to Mrs Rajvansh was looming over his head and he was dangerously late due to The celebrations in eastate ;had sidetracked him and he knew Vasu would pounce on him if there was even a single mistake.

Anmol sensed the atmoshpere in the room changing, he bent over Tammy and pulled her ponytail lovingly and added
off you go princess; its time for dressup, he also lovingly sent Khushi away with a pat on head ,he then went on to close the door of study and faced two People ready to pounce on each other with full force.
He gestured to both to sit down and tried to divert their attention to a buisness matter needing attention but Inder was insistent
nahi Anmol she needs to answer us ; why such unreasonable request and wastage of resources and time on these reports, we could even go ahead with yearly reports,we are not like anmol's company,which requires quaterly earning reports due to its net worth.
Vasu did not like to be reminded of anmol's wealth,it made her feel unreasonable.
She looked up at Anmol and added You hid so much from us,how can I trust you ever with anything.
Vasu for god sake Inder was visibly trembling in anger , his face was flushed and he was breathing heavily.
Papji please calm down its ok ,I understand and I deserve everything she says.
No you dont yelled Inder turing to vasu how can you say he cant be trusted with anything...
Vasu was shocked at Inder,she took a tentative step back and held anmol's gaze for a long moment and added

and left the room almost running..
Both inder and Anmol saw her leaving,anmol made inder sit and drink a glass of water,he even coaxed him to finish off his Halwa.anmol still did not like flushed face of Papaji, as he knew Papaj had recently started ot take Blood pressure medicine.
It was soon 5 pm, it was warm outside and childern were playing Football with Anmol
Papa yeh cheating hai shouted Tammy ..
kyun kyun all is fair in love and war.. chucked anmol
and cheated shamelssly to score one more goal..
tha laughter and tickling that followed this was something that stopped Ragini in midstep,still holding jug of water she looked at the merry party..
It has been so long since someone laughed like this in her angan ,she felt as if god had sent angels to sparkle laughter and joy after a long drought.
He hated being tickled,he was trying hard to break free,even angad had joied bacha party ...when suddenly he felt as if some one was watching him,hair on his nape stood and he turned his head and saw her standing about 10 feet away,wipping tears and smiling at same time.
their eyes met and for eternity both were still ,anmol failed to notice ticking had stopped and he was free once again;
aap log romance ko chodiye aur Ragini pani do ..alekh said while clearing his throat;an dlaughing at the same time
Ragini moved forward almost spiling water in haste ,while anmol got up lazily and came slowly towards her,she was surrounded by kids and he stood lazily his back to a tree trunk and a slight smile on his lips.
Soon kids were inside watching their favourite show while alekh went to finish some files,sakshi went to put her baby to sleep, Ragini and Anmol found themselves alone in Twilight hours where after sunset light was trying to battle the night ...
She sat on the bench while anmol strolled in lawn ,he came to her and sat down beside her and smiled
in background a song was playing...

Suddenly Gudi bust out running

Ragini and Anmol got a huge jolt and both Ran inside...
