Part 62
Maan was quite worried by her recent behavior; he very well understood the pressure she was going through. To study alone was quite a challenge and then to pursue architecture was not an easy job; it was totally a new stream and needed a lot of creativity with strong technical background;
to become a good designer along with a good analyst needed hard work and dedication and if she continued as she has been doing all through the semester she will just end up hating it; if one wants to be a good architect you have to enjoy it while you are studying; learning with fun was thebest way to become successful. She was no doubt intelligent and will sure always come first in her class but she will lack that zing in her profession later.
After much of a thought he decided on some grounds, it was time for him to decide; he has never done any thing against her wish but he has to convince her on this, and she will agree to it. How he knew very well?
While she was sleeping he made a few calls to his mother and father and he also talked to his tauji (Aarambha) about it.
it was 12 noon and she was still sleeping, it looked as if she has not slept for days;
of course all those night outs and exams would have taken her toll and apart from this she also would have been mentally tired thinking na drethinking about herself as a Khurana Bahu.
He called Amer Bakery and odered few eatables. In about 30 mins the package arrived and he kissed her
M: wake up sweet heart its alredy 12:30
G: sone do pls
M: ok, if you want but then these snacks will become cold
G: snacks??????
M: they have sweet corn soup with cheesy soup sticks for
startes, then double cheese grilled veggie sandwitch, also bionic burger, baked veggies with garlic bread complimantary muffins, and black forest cake, with chocotruffle pudding and to add on there some thing new they said it's called cappuccino to be served hot and with in 10 mins of delivery. Looks like some choicst coffee. Oh yes I drank it at Ahmadabad at some outlet knowns as Barista
G: Maan you are a big tease, you first order all my favorites and then you tease me. Just give that coffee cup to me and she snatches the cup from his hand and inhaled the aroma, and gave him a BIG smile
After the lunch she again cuddled in his arms.
G: Maan
M: umm
G: today I will tell everyone about us
M: why?
G: I am fed up of all this, today evry one will know and then I
will come here and stay with you, I'll leave the hostel.
M: why?
G: Maan its very difficult I feel suffocated all the time fearing
all the time hiding I can't do it anymore
M: ok tell me some thing
G: what?
M: do you like your studies?
G: what type of question is this? of course I like it
M: do you like being Khurana badi Bahu?
G: I enjoy it
M: you like both the things
G: yes
M: no thing more nothing less
G: exactly
M: do you like me?
G: Maan are you doubting it
M: no
G: then?????????
M: if given a choice between studies, Khurana's and me who will you choose?
G: of course YOU, what type of question is this?
M: you loved me more before the marriage or you love me more
now?
G: Maan, what's in your mind?
M: batao, pehel mujhe jyaad pyaar karti thi ya ab jyaad karti ho?
G: same to same, jitna pehle karti thi utna hi ab karti hoan
M: matlab agar hamari shaadi nahin bhi hoti tab bhi tum mujhe utna hi chahati?
G: yes
M: the only thing changed after our marriage is that now you
have more responsibilities on you
G: I am not afraid of them
M: but I am
G: matlab
M: Geet meri baat dhyaan se suno, aur pehle socho phir bolo,
G: mujhe daraa rahe ho
M: nahin I am scared myself
G: Maan
M: this marriage will be your last responsibility as a Khurana Bahu
G: matlab
M: after Dev's shaadi, you will not be Geet Maan.
G: Maan what are you saying? I am not able to understand a word
M: you will only be Geet Singh not only in name but in deed.
G: how?
M: after Dev's shaadi we all , means all the Khurana's and all the Handa's ALL will forget that we two ever married; even we will forget this
G: Maan (shocked)
Dev Tara marriage on cards
why is Maan saying all this?
why has he taken such a big decision?
will Geet agree?
what will they do?
how can they forget that they are married?
will Maan take himself totally away from her life?
