Ishaan confessed to me that he was worried and scared about my health. We are all waiting for the biopsy reports. Everyone at home knows about my tumour, but I am glad that they are such a huge support to me. Instead of crying and being desolate, they find ways to make me smile. I don't want anybody in the family to be sad because of me. Sanjana brought my favourite belongings from home. Some even made me nostalgic as I remembered mom and her lessons in life. One of them was how to overcome fear- by facing it. I am doing that with all my heart. Meanwhile I refuse to be depressed or grim about the future.
Oddly, instead of cheering me up Inder bhaiya, Ilesh bhaiya and Deepak took Ishaan out for dinner. That was not fair and I told them so. They should have taken me to dinner too. The next morning Ilesh bhaiya was being ignored by everyone. I was confused as I was oblivious of their nocturnal adventures. I was told that they had dinner, some drinks and when they were just about to leave, Ilesh bhaiya did the unmentionable [he peed in public]. His shameful offence led to a run in with the cops and Inder bhaiya and Ishaan had to pay a fine too. OMG, I couldn't control my laughter when I heard about it. I told Ilesh bhaiya I will never speak to him but of course I was kidding
Deepak and I had a lovely chat on the terrace but we ended up having an argument with our nosy neighbour Manju aunty regarding Deepak. Manju aunty thinks no end of herself and always interferes in our business and lives. She is trying to hook Deepak for her daughter, ugly Bubbly. When I came to the Kashyap family post marriage, I realised that neighbours here were very inquisitive, who felt that it was their right to barge into our homes and ask all sorts of inappropriate questions. Especially, Manju aunty who irritates me the most. She thinks we are all here to displease her.
After I told everyone at home about my squabble with Manju aunty, they all supported me and we went to the roof top for some more fun. At first, I didn't get their game but later when Inder bhaiya, Ilesh bhaiya, Rajni didi and Disha didi clued me in, I was all for some ribbing. I joined in and had a blast playing a prank on Manju aunty. She thought we were getting Deepak engaged and Inder bhaiya convinced me to let Deepak marry a girl in our locality. Manju aunty thought we were talking about her ugly Bubbly. We led her on to believe that Deepak loves halwa and parathas the most. So, now I guess she will prepare a feast in order to win Deepak's heart through his stomach. We laughed a lot at Manju aunty's expense.
Later I also told Rajni didi and Disha didi that it wouldn't be fair to prolong the joke too much. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings not even Manju aunty's. By evening we will break the news to her that it was a prank. Although, I wouldn't mind if in the process we end up getting a delicious meal out of her.
I had a great time bonding with my bhabhis at home. They have become my close friends as we talk, laugh, gossip, fight and do all sorts of things women do. They know me so well that they surprised me by calling my best friends Suli and Sudi home. It was indeed a pleasant surprise to see them. Suli and Sudi wanted me to accompany them for a fashion show, but I realised that no one at home had ever been to a fashion show. So, we decided to have a fashion show in our house, in my room!! I dressed up the Kashyap parivaar ladies to take on the ramp, but they were very hesitant to shed their inhibitions. I think this fashion show will be one of a kind and it will rock.
I am glad to have a deep and solid relationship with Ishaan, a nurturing loving family and friends in my bhabhis. I am waiting for the results but let me tell you I am not scared.
