I have not proof read it . . . in fact haven't even skimmed through it so pweej ignore the errors as there are tons of them . . . I am sure . . .
RECAP: She tried pushing him off of her but much to her frustration he held onto her. He opened his eyes as he lifted his face, looked at her intently and then at her lips. He moved his lips closer to hers as her eyes widened in shock fearing what was to come.
Chapter 7
She closed her eyes in horror.
And then—
She felt cold lips touch her collar bone instead of lips and as she realised Maan had passed out again, she heaved a sigh of relief. Squirming under him, somehow she managed to push him off of her as she got on her feet and eyed Maan with disgust.
And then . . . her thoughts took a new flight.
As she glanced at his bare body . . . the man had a good physique, she had to admit but she knew better than that. All of a sudden it hit her—
Alone . . . Guy . . . Cottage . . . Deserted . . . CRAP.
She was alone with a drunkard and cheery on top the place she took shelter in was deserted. And the fact that he was lying in front of her, dressed only in his boxers wasn't helping in any way; it only made the situation more uncomfortable for her.
After giving it a thought, she decided to let him sleep on the cot while she went to the hotel and sent somebody to get him. But would it be wise to leave him all by himself. She decided to risk it as there was no way whatsoever she would spend the night in the same cottage with him.
She opened the door and with a final glance at him, she stepped out of door. Somewhere she didn't want to leave him alone but she just did it. Walking through the gap in the hedge she headed towards the road. She hadn't gone too far when—
Zindagi Hai Kya Bolo Zindagi Hai Kya
Geet froze. Slowly she turned around and what she saw then, was not what she would have wanted to see in a million years.
Zindagi Hai Kya Bolo Zindagi Hai Kya
Maan was running towards her and literally screaming his lungs out . . . in his boxers. She scowled furiously at him as he stopped right next to her and gave her one of those sloppy smiles that made her want to thump him right on the face. However tempting it may sound, she couldn't possibly hit her best friend's brother and not to forget she was against violence of any kind.
Zindagi Hai Latto
Zindagi Hai Latto
Chahe Jahan Nachalo
Chahe Idhar Ghumalo
Bhade Ka Jase Tatto
Geet eyes widened in shock as he literally howled her to him, as she landed on his chest with her hair scattered all over her face. She pushed him away with her hands as he held her by the wrist and twirled her around continuously. For heaven's sake, she wasn't a spinning toy that he could play with.
Latto Zindagi Hai Latto
He sang as he held by the shoulders and rocked her back and forth. Unexpectedly, he left her as he scanned her from head to and smirked. She gulped as she saw his eyes wander all over her, his eyes were like an X-ray machine and she felt she was being bared inch by inch.
And then—
Zindagi Hai Ladki
Zindagi Hai Ladki
He pulled her cheeks as her eyes literally popped out. what the hell was he doing? She wasn't a two year old cutie that he was pulling her cheeks.
Ladki Zindagi Hai Ladki
Ladki Ka Naam Mat Lo
Suddenly he pushed her as he held his ears and pouted his lips. He shook his head as he continued his squealing and her scowl grew darker.
Uska Salam Mat Lo
Maan held his one hand near his forehead in a position as though he was saluting, and grinned like a joker lifting his brows.
Ladki Badai Karki
He fished for a pocket as he ran his hands across his thighs but well, his boxers didn't have pockets. Not finding any pockets he again pulled Geet by the waist and ran his hands all over her back, searching for pockets. And as his hands wandered down her lower hips, she stomped his foot. Damn non-violence, she had had enough.
She pushed him as he fell onto the ground with a thud. Now it was her who was singing and needless to say . . . her voice was as sweet as a nightingale.
Latto Nahin Ladki Nahin Zindagi hai Sachai
Latto Nahin Ladki Nahin Zindagi Hai Sachai
Mitti Ki Murat Jab Sach Boli Aadmi Tab Kahelayi Aadmi Hai
Kya bolo Aadmi Hai Kya Aadmi Hai Kya Bolo Aadmi Hai Kya
But in contrast to her voice, her body language, her facial expressions and most importantly hers eyes were spelling fire. She sang as though she was a strict teacher, trying to knock some sense into the moron who was literally rolling on the ground. she wondered, why the hell guys need to drink more than they can handle. Why was she even wondering when she knew the answer . . . Boys will be boys.
Geet scoffed as she looked at Maan who was rolling on the ground. She tried lifting him as she pulled him by the hand but he pulled her right back and she fell on him.
That was it.
Let the so called social service of hers jump in the drain, even if her conscience didn't allow her to leave him in the middle of the road, she no longer gave a damn. He wanted to roll, she would let him roll. She fumed as she got on her feet.
Spinning on her heel she left from there, leaving Maan rolling like a rolling stone. As he heard her retreating footsteps he jolted to stand on his feet and shrieked.
Aadami Hai Bander
Aadami Hai Bander
He held his boxers as he pulled them up and down . . . up . . . down . . . up . . . down . . . up . . . down. He toddled around as he shook his head and sneered.
Roti Utha Ke Bhage
Kapde Chora Ke Bhage
He toddled next to her as he pulled her duppatta and she gasped. He wore it around his neck and she tried reaching for it, he dogged his head and ran past her. Geet couldn't believe she was chasing a drunkard jerk in the mid of a road at night. This was the limit.
Kahlayeh Vo Sikander
Bander Aadmi Hai Bander
Aadmi Hai Charkha
Aadmi Hai Charkha
Stopping in his tracks, Maan looked over his shoulder and sneered. He sat on the ground with his legs folded together and started spinning his head. Geet ran over to where he was sitting and pulled her duppatta from around his neck and draped it round her chest carefully.
Are Chu Chu Hamesha Bole
Maan held his cheeks as he pulled them . . . up . . . down . . . up . . . down.
Bho Bho Hamesha Dole
Maan snorted as he got on his Feet and ran after Geet who was walking away from him.
Rukate Kabhi Na Dekha
Dekha Aadmi Hai Charkha
Aadmi Hai Charkha
He held the end of her duppatta as he yet again pulled it but this time he didn't wear it round his neck. Instead he wrapped it around her as though it was a wrapping paper and she a gift. And then—
He tucked at its end and in one swift motion pulled it towards him making her spin in the process. She felt the earth round her rotate as her head thumped in dizziness and she stumbled. She closed her eyes expecting to hit the ground but instead she felt strong arms grip her waist and she sighed in relief. But her respite was short lived as the very next moment she felt the arms leave her and she hit the ground.
She heard him shriek in a laugh and she fumed. Damn everything else, she would definitely smack him now. He called for it. why was it required to let her fall when he had successfully saved her from falling just moments ago, if he had to let her fall why did he even bother holding her in the first place, she so wanted to kill him at the moment.
If looks could kill . . . that was it . . . Maan would have been a ghost by then.
She got on her feet as she walked over to him and pushed him as he tripped and struck his head with ground and. Hearing him yelp and having received the exact same reaction she wanted from him, she smiled as she tapped her feet hard on the ground and turned to leave. She hadn't gone far enough when she saw a group of hooligans teeming around. By the looks of it she could clearly make out they were drunk. Great . . . that was literally the last straw that broke the camel's back.
She did what any other girl would have done.
She ran.
And then—
She heard them coming after her.
She looked over her shoulder and saw them catching up. It was then she crashed into something hard . . . Maan.
Her eyes popped out as Maan pushed her and she stumbled but somehow managed to retain her balance. She saw him toddle towards the goons and then she heard the last thing she would have liked to hear at that moment.
Jahan Chaar Yaar
Maan literally pounced on those hooligans as they all returned his hug with equal fervour
they all sang.
Jahan Chaar Yaar Mil Jaayen Wahin Raat Ho Gulzar
Mehfil Rangeen Jame Dhoom Mache Daur Chale
Mast Mast Nazar Dekhe Naye Chamatkar
Jahan Chaar Yaar...
That was in all literal sense . . . Going from the sublime to the ridiculous. Now Geet was dead sure . . . she was indeed God's favourite child that he always managed to trap her in the worse of situations.
One O Clock In My House
There Was A Cat There Was A Mouse
One of the hooligan shrieked as Geet shut her ears closing them with her palms. Maan sneered as he joined the squealing gang and he started singing or rather shrieking in a thrill tone that could practically render people deaf.
Khel Rahe The Danda Gilli
Maan entwined his hands together as he pretended to hit an imaginary six.
Chooha Aage Peechhe Billi
Maan moved a step ahead as the hooligans followed and then they all took a step back, all the while holding each other's ears.
Choohe Ko Pad Gaye Jaan Ke Laale
Bola Mujhko Koi Bachale
All of them shrugged their shoulders as they closed their eyes and joined their hands together as though in a prayer although they weren't really praying.
Mere Paas Tha Bhara Gilass
Pee Gaya Chooha Saari Whisky
One of the moron, held a Whisky bottle as he gulped it all in a go. Maan ran towards him as he snatched the bottle from his hands and put it into his mouth as he raise his head trying to empty leftover liquid into his mouth but there was none. He frowned as he dropped the bottle and it broke into tiny pieces hitting the ground with a clink.
Kadak Ke Bola Kahan Hai Billi
Dum Dabake Billi Bhaagi
Choohe Ki Phuti Kismat Jaagi
Khel Risky Tha Whisky Ne Kiya Beda Paar
Mehfil Rangeen Jame...
Geet had had enough already. She was so done With all the crap. She walked over to Maan, held his wrist as she dragged him after. Waving at the hooligans Maan left with Geet. The rest of the walk to the hotel was anything but easy. Maan kept toddling, stumbling, shrieking and Geet was pissed off.
Finally, as she saw the hotel in front of her she sighed in relief.
It was then she heard him sing yet again.
Main Hoon Jhoom Jhoom Jhoom Jhoom Jhumroo
Phakkad Ghunghroo Banke Ghumu
Maan extended his one arm forward and curled his fingers together and hit his butt. Geet smiled wryly at least this time he was doing what he should . . . he was hitting himself.
But then he started hopping on one leg as he moved towards Geet and she moved back.
The watchman ran towards them as he mistook Maan to be a random goon. He smacked Maan right on the nose as he asked Geet if she was fine. Maan fumed as scrunched his nose and looked the guard and moved towards. Holding the gaurd by the collar he gritted his teeth as he said "You know what you did . . . You just hit Maan Singh Khurana"
With that said he hugged the watchman as he cried "Nobody has ever hit me, thank you so much . . . I like starters."
Geet simply walked away and entered the hotel. This was a day she would never . . . ever . . . forget. It was one hell of a day. As soon as she entered the hotel the receptionist called out to her "Are you Ms Handa Ma'am"
"yes" Geet replied as she walked over to the reception.
"Ma'am someone has been trying to contact for the past five hours, I guess the reception in the area is poor, so we've been getting frequent calls from Mumbai"
"Who is the caller?"
"Please wait I'll just confirm it for you"
After five minutes the Receptionist told Geet the name of the caller as Geet went ahead and called the person.
"Mr Maan Singh Khurana you will pay for it" Geet muttered as she cut the call.
Precap: Anwesha and Geet gaped as they saw Maan and Arjun standing on top of the reception counter holding each other's hair.
