brij scanned maan top to bottom. Maan maintained a stern straight look not getting intimidated with his stare. Instead maans calmness was irritating brij. Maan turned his bike & was about to leave when brij held maans bike. Maan switched off the ignition & removed his helmet.

Maan pulled the sand of the bike with his right leg & swinged the left leg around & got off the bike. He walked into the his personal space with his broad shoulders almost shadowing the entire body of the 18yr old brij. Maan hated him because geet disliked him, feared him. The hatredness was visible in maans eyes. He could burn him alive with his fury. Brij trembled few steps back feeling intimidated.
Brij gathered all his wits & said it in a stern voice - meri bahen se dur raho tum
before he finished those words maan placed a hard punch on his face making him bleed from nose & mouth. Brij was furious & he raised is right arm to punch maan blindly in rage, maan held his hand & turned it behind him holding in a firm lock. Brij struggled to free himself. Maan pulled the red scarf from his neck & wiped the blood from his nose & mouth. Aaj tho kah diya dubara mera aur geet ke beech anne ki kosish ki tho & pushes him away & throws the garment on his face. Brij was about to get up & fight back when Mohinder's car just came in & stopped in front of maans bike.
Mohinder doesn't even notice the bleeding brij he straight walks to maan & puts his hand around him - so young man how are things shaping up

Maan felt so warm. Papaji invited him to have coffee. He was not sure but couldn't have refused him. Brij was fuming with-in seeing how his uncle spoke to him about business matters.

maan hugs him struggling to voice out his emotions. Rano watched them from the door & smiled. She knew mohinder saw himself in maan. He admired maans spirit & sincerity. Least did they know he did every thing only for their daughter, probably their love would have just multiplied for him then. They did know he is man of few words.
Meanwhile brij gets darji to study to enquire about maan. Darji clears his throat as he walks in. maan & mohinder break out of the hug & rano takes the pallo over her head & leaves to the kitchen.

Mohinder - bavoji maan bahut hi naik ladka hain. Studies ho, business ho (brij murmured rubbing his chi mar peet ho) sab main aacha hain aur bahut samjdar bhi hain. Mera bas chalen tho abhi shaadi paki kardoon. & laughed patting maans back.
Darji - aur parivar sab kaise hain
maan felt really scared if they would get to his parents details
mohinder - sab aacha hain bavooji khandani hain, delhi ke izaadar families main se hain, chiraag lekar doondoge tho bhi aise ladka nahi milega.
Maan was overwhelmed with so much of love & respect. NO one ever has treated him with so much of respect & he knew mohinder meant all those words. He thought geet & her parents didn't belong to this world, they were definitely from a world of their own just love, love & unconditional love !!!
darji's perspective towards maan did change a bit but brij couldn't have accepted all this.
