Part 9

Maan entered his room, his eyes searching geet. She was sleeping on the bed. He stopped beside the bed and looked down at her. She looked really innocent. He bent over her to shake her awake.

At same time, she opened her sleepy eyes. Maan found himself looking into deep hazel coloured eyes. They were slightly pink due to her sleeping and looked so deep, so full of mystery that he felt like he was sinking in them. Those eyes, they tried to put him in trance, to forget everything. The sleepy look in her eyes was replaced with something he couldn't identify and a happy contended

smile appeared on geet's face. He quickly drew back from their eye lock.

Geet could not help it. She knew he was probably very angry with her but when he was near her, even in same room, she felt happy. She craved him like narcotics. She could not understand it that why she loved this angry, arrogant so much but she just knew he was her reason for living.

Maan turned away from her and looked toward the close window where rain drops were clinging to the glass and said,'' if you went with Mr. sateesh, you could have asked him to call dadi ma and tell you are fine but I guess that was expecting a bit too much from a selfish person like you. You must have been really happy that I was searching madly for you out there in the rain.''

her smile faded, and hurt replaced the warmth in her eyes but maan was oblivious to it.

''at least, you should have thought about dadi ma, she is old, and you caused her so much worry.''

his voice was normal not raised but his words they were dipped in derision.

Geet replied, trying to keep her voice strong,''you could have at least ask if I was ok before hurling accusations at me. Why would I be happy to cause you and dadi ma trouble? I didn't plan this.''

she got off the bed and hugged him from back.

She was very shy with everyone else but with maan she had always been very straight forward, very bold. So, even this time she tried to take the comfort she wanted from him. A simple warm hug which will fill her with his warmth, his scent and banish every fear and ordeal she had passed today.

But he even denied her that.

He jerked away from her, turning to glare down at her. '' how many times, I have to tell you to stay away from me?''

geet replied,''your actions says one thing, your words another thing, what I am to do maan? And I know you will never bear it if I put distance between us.''

Maan tried to lower his voice, he didn't want dadi ma listening this. ''don't delude yourself. Its dangerous to live in dreams all the times.''

geet,''who is deluding whom, only time will tell but I don't need to live in dreams, my dream has already become a reality.''

Maan's anger burned more higher. ''time? Time will tell you geet that you are still living in a dream, a nightmare. You are nothing to me, nothing and that will never change. My hate will increase day by day, never lessen.''

geet,''and my love for you.''

Maan,''i always win geet, maan singh khaurana was not born to fail.'''

geet,''in love no one loses.''

Maan,''but you will lose. You started this game but I will finish it.''

geet,''you will never be able to bear it if I lose.''

Maan felt himself getting more irritated by her confidence. '' like I said you assume too much but this is the last time I am warning you to stay away from me or..'' he left the sentence unfinished.''

geet didn't got scared. She could bear with anything he did to her. She had survived his temper till yet hadn't she? But it hurt, this rejection after last night when he had been so passionate, so close, so demanding, his actions had been like he was craving for her. So, she could not stop herself from saying it,''and when you touch me first then?''

his sentence hit maan like acid. ''that is plain sex.'' he deliberately tried to be crude.

Geet,''but you come to me for it when you can get it from anywhere else.''

Maan moved toward her and geet refused to back off. He didn't stop, their bodies were very close. He grabbed geet's hair in his one hands, gently but his face was harsh and his words even harsher.

''as long as I have to bear you, I should be getting some compensation.''

geet flinched at his words, moisture gathering in her eyes but managed to whisper,'' how can you touch me like that when you hate me so much.''

maan traced her features with his eyes, an action that was uncouncious. ''so innocent, you always try to act innocent. But I am not gullible, the way you behave with me before marriage and afterwards..no you are not what you appear and I know it.''

geet stared up at him, his words stinging, he was angry at what happened today and as usual when he was angry at her, he said such cruel things to her, she understood him but still his words hurt because he was very important to her, his every word mattered.

''don't say such things maan, I am strong but not that strong. I am human too, I get hurt as well.''

his hands tangled in her hairs became more harsh making the tears spill down her cheeks.

Maan,''i don't care if you get hurt.'' he drew her face more closer, before he knew it, he was kissing her tears away.

His harsh words and then, this caring gesture brought fresh tears spilling down her cheeks, he didn't question his own actions, simply sipped her tears.

Geet put her arms around him. This man he will drive her crazy. When will he realize he loved her as well?

He was kissing her now, his hands now caressing her hairs. She knew he had a thing for her hairs. For a second she thought to shrug him off, too jerk away like he had doone but hen, she looked at him and her resolve melted away, she could never turn away from him, never pull away. May be that made her weak but it was true where he was concerned, nothing mattered, not even herself.

He tipped her face back baring her neck to him, he kissed his way down and then, picked her up in his arms and put her on bed and then, followed her down.........................

you are putting out Maans conflicting emotions and contradictory behavior brilliantly... also like the way Geet is still as bold with maan as before... theres such stark innocence in that, the way she gives herself to him completely and without shame...

Hey Ashley! It's me Liz . . LOL I am not really a commentor I dont get time . . But since its the holidays and I love ur stories why not? 😆

So to begin . . . WHAT A JERKKKK!?😡 The guy has the nerve to go bi*** to her and than sleep with her? Maan makes me mad . . . !😆 I can see love in his actions but obviously he is married to her, and is going to take advantage of that . . So is that his defense mechanism for his actions which he says are not love, since he hates her?

I feel sorry for poor baby Geet! 😲 She loves him to such and extent she doesn't see that their relationship has never been about . . . EMOTIONS as of yet rather its a physical thing that has never had Maan actually going further than that . . . Such as he doesn't care for her feelings at all . . .

But why does he hate her so much?

And manhandling her . . . In the future this will severely cost him! I seriously hope that he repents and Geet doesn't give into him so soon! So that in this way he realizes her importance! Hopefully u can continue to use Armaan in ur story so the Maan feels jealous! AWWWWW that would be awesome!

i think maan is getting geet as granted...he thinks whatever happens geet is always there...bt plz make the beleif wrong temporarily...i dnt want geets feelings ever change but maan hv to realise geet's importance in his lyf..
