FIFA has shortlisted the famous Barcelona trio of Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Xavi Hernandez for the 2010 Ballon d'Or honour. BUT the shortlist doesn't have the name of Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder. Snubbed?
I don't think he's snubbed - he had a good season winning a treble with Inter Milan and scoring five goals in the World Cup tournament, but I don't think his individual performance was better than either Xavi, Iniesta or Messi. Overall, I think Messi's going to take the Ballon d'or honour, but I would be equally happy if it goes to one of the other two!
