Maan waited until Geet was asleep before getting up and going to shower. After the shower, he went out on the deck, his mind in turmoil. He did not know what was wrong but he was feeling a nameless anxiety. He opened his cell phone to call dad, he knew it was really late but he just needed to speak to him.

His phone was dead. He checked the battery, it was properly connected. He had changed battery yesterday, so it should still have power. He kept trying but to no use, phone remained silent. They were going to Dubai,then, he will get a new phone. He could still sent radio message through ship but it would be really long time before dad get the message from authorities. He will wait until tomorrow but still there was no sleep in his eyes. He went to lower deck and sat down and kept looking into the dark sea.

Maan looked up at the sky, it was nearly dawn. The sea and sky were both endless and very beautiful. He wanted Geet to share this beautiful moment with him. He went inside and wrapped her in the blanket, she opened one bleary eye and asked 'whatareyoudoing' her words were jumbled but she put her arms around his neck and her headd on his chest, her eyes were closed. He took her outside and sat at his previous place. Maan,''look at the sky geet, its breaking dawn, its really beautiful.

Geet opened one eye and peaked at the sky. It was really gorgeous. The salty fresh breeze of the sea, it created a freshness, she smiled at the beauty of it.

Both sat there, until sun was fully out and illuminating every thing it touched. Maan felt a sudden urge to hold geet close and never move from this place. The contentment, peace he was feeling, something warned him, some deep inner instinct that it was last time he was feeling it. he hugged Geet tightly, nothing will go wrong, he will make sure of it. Geet was his and he will make sure that everything will remain as perfect as today.

The ship was docked and Geet was ready to go, her overnight bag was ready as Maan had told her that they will be staying at hotel for the night. She went to Maan who was standing outside on the deck, he was really quiet today. Geet hugged him from behind, he turned around and planted a kiss on her lips. Geet kissed him back but he moved his head away and said, ''what if we both stay here and don't go outside.''

Geet,''no way, I am in full mood for shopping. Come on, lets move'' she moved out of the huga and tried to push him toward the cabin door. Maan,'' okay okay, just let me get the bags.'' he grabbed them and moved out.

Geet had come to Dubai many times before, so she knew where to find Indian clothes and other stuff she liked. Maan privately thought that she was like a tornado, her speed of shopping was so fast that it was impossible for him to remember whatt they bought after some time. He was especially lost in the make up section where Geet tried to put make up on him saying she was checking thhe shades, he glared at her but geet was geet, so he escaped using the excuse that he need to buy a new cell from next shop. Geet gave him a mock wounded look at being abandoned. After purchasing the cell, he waited for her outside the shop not risking to step inside. After, Geet came outside, she handed all her bags to him. They were strolling outside when one man who appeared to a Russian came to them and asked that,''can I take your picture?'' They were both surprised and Maan tried to refuse but that guy was insistent, he said,''you two look very beautiful together, I am an artist and I would love to paint you two, so I am going to take your picture and paint from it.'' So, they let him take their picture and he gave them his emai address and said to sent their address he will sent a copy to them.

After that they went back to the hotel which was located nearby. Then, they went to one of the italian resturants located on the second floor. After lunch, they went back to their room, Geet hounding him to take her out to the disco at night. Geet went to take shower while Maan unpacked the cell phone and put in the sim.

He immediately called Dad, he picked phone on the second ring.

Dad, ''Maan where were you? I was trying to reach you since last night.''

His voice sounded really tired.

Maan,''sorry dad, the phone was malfunctioning, what happened, is everything ok?''

Dad,''you two need to come back Maan as quickly as possible.''

Maan,''what happened?''

Dad,''is geet near you?''

Maan, ''no, why? What is wrong?''

dad sadly,'' listen maan don't lose your calm, everything is going to be o.k. But you have to take this really calmly, you have to be strong for Geet, are you understanding me?''

Maan remained quiet, his heart beating wildly but his face showed no emtion, this had to really serious, he slowly paced in front of the bed, dad what happened?''

Dad,'' testerday, their was a terrorist attack on Darji's hotel in Delhi.''

Maan,'hmmm'

Dad,'' darji was hit in the cross fire. He is o.k. But he is still in the hospital. He is alright but you two need to come back.''

Maan shaken''darji is in hospital?'' he has always been a solid constant figure in Maan's life, a man who never bowed in front of any one, a man who lived life acccording to his principles and Maan really loved and respected him. Maan,''is he seriously hurt, can I speak to him?''

Dad was quiet for a moment and his silence told Maan that darji was really hurt. Maan slowly sat on the bed, his legs feelinf weak,'' I will call you when we land in India.

After disconnecting the call, he called his pilot and asked him to make necessary clearance to land at Dubai airport, then, he packed everything.he was trying not to think about darji and instead was focussed on getting home as soon as possible.

Geet came out of the shower feeling very relaxed. She saw Maan was packing everything. Maan really is too much, I just asked him to take me to the disco and he is packing everything.

She went to him and grabbed the bag out of his hand. ''this is not fair, I spent 2 weeks with you on the ship because you wanted it and I just asked to go to disco and you started packing everything.

Maan looked around the room, everything was packed, he moved to wash room and got their private things from there.Maan,'' we are going back to India.''

Geet,''what? But why? Maan stop packing, maan? He looked at her and Geet felt her heart sink. He was really serious. She had thought he was just joking. ''maan?'' she looked at him in question.

Shuriya looked outside his window toward the lawn, the night was beautiful but his mind was on something else. They had to know by now but still there was no reaction, he had not expected this.

His phone rang, he picked it up,''sir, Maan singh khaurana has landed on delhi airport and sir, there is another news, Mr. gurvind haunda was hurt last night as well. There is no press release and they are telling no one. I think that is why they delayed but this is good news for us, now they can't do anything.''
