Hey all my readers

1. As always: thank you all for your support. You all have encouraged me to continue writing

2. This is now a FF as suggested by my readers..but the name of the FF is still undecided and I have asked for any suggestions. You will be credited if I pick ur title. Our friend mrs.msk has suggested magical moments. You could agree or suggest a new one. I will decide the title by the next part.

3. I have added ppl to my Pm list . any new readers who want to be added: do let me know.

4. As always: do ignore any mistakes

5. And I tried to make it a little longer so I hope u gurls and any guyz who do read like it

Precap : Just then they both heard something shatter downstairs. Geet quickly pulled away and said: Did u hear that ? Who's downstairs?? Geet asked with fearful eyes

Part 3: Hum Tum aur Woh

Maan held onto Geet in a protective manner, even with the danger behind them, Maan still had fear in his heart. He hid geet behind his back.

"Don't worry geet, u stay here while I go check."

Geet stopped Maan before he could take a step further by placing her hand on his arm and said, "No maan, please don't go alone, I will go check with you."

Maan turned around placed his hands on her arms and tried to reassure her. "I told you geet, don't worry: nothing will happen me. There is no one who can harm Maan Singh Khurana." he finished with the determination in his mind.

Geet wasn't satisfied and she just kept shaking her head and holding onto him with all her might.

"Geeettt...Geeettt..where are you ?"

Geet suddenly recognized the voice and placed her hand on her mouth in shock." Oh Babaj..why do you always do this to me? she asked as she talked to the one above. Geet spoke with a new fear in her voice, "Maan, Meera is here!"

"Geeettt..is she even home?", She asked herself

Maan recognized the voice this time. Meera who was Dev's friend from college, the girl who had stood by Dev in his worse time and guided him to the right path in paying for sins and getting geet justice. Frankly, he had a soft spot in his heart for her because she had helped geet as well'

"Oh god; wat is she doing here at this time?", He asked geet

"Maan, do I like a mind reader to you? How would I know why she's here at this time?? And why does everyone decide to visit me so late at night ?" Geet asked in sheer frustration

Geet and Maan heard the sound of Meera's heels on the stairs..

Geet panicked even more, "oh babaji, maan she's coming upstairs..you have to go..no no..how can you do downstairs? You have to hide..yes yes..u have to hide..but where? Where? : she spoke in her fastest HP express voice.

Geet started dragging Maan from one corner to another corner trying to find a spot.

Maan stopped geet by pulling her hand, "Geet, why do you have to hide me? I am not afraid to seen with you..we are now officially engaged.", he said as if he was stating the weather.

Geet on other hand didn't seem to share Maan's point of view and said, "No maan..you can say that because you have the heart of a tiger but me ..me..i have a heart of a mouse: she said she tried to show the size of a mouse with her hand( these lines are taken from the serial..i loved these lines so I couldn't help it. )

Maan tried to speak again but geet would have none of it.. By now..Meera's heels could be heard in the hall that lead to Geet's room..

Geet tried to think fast."Okay..she pulled him to the balcony: here, you can hide in the balcony and I will close the doors or you can be typically Maan Singh Khurana and go home the way you came, bye." she was about to close the doors, Maan stuck his foot in the door.

"But geet..liste------", he tried to finish but his words got cut off as Geet succeeded in slamming the door on Maan Singh Khurana's face. He spoke to himself: "oh, how dare she ?? Just wait till tomorrow Ms. HP Express."

He leaned against and smiled to himself. He could never fully understand how Ms. HP Express had been able to change him..Well, Geet claimed tht he technically didn't change because he is the still the old MK for the KC staff or DD( dhak dhak ), the name he learned from Geet that the staff called him). He laughed as he remembered how possessively she had told him she would make sure no one would call him DD him ever again

Flashback

Geet and Maan are getting ready to leave the office together for the day. Maan checked the files he was taking home to study. While he was checking his files; Geet gave him a look and said to herself: Oh Babaji: doesn't he ever get tried? Are u sure you made him a human? I am starting to think he is a robot.

Maan pulled Geet out of her thoughts as he said, "Oh geet, I also need the file for the Canada Project, could you check where it is ?"

Geet walked up to him and pointed to his stack of files,"Why? These are not enough to last you throughout the night. How are you even going to find time for me at the night when we get married ?" She asked as she crossed her arms and walked away and continued in the angriest tone she could manage, "Pinky has the file . I will call her to bring the file for you." She dialed and held the phone: "Hello pinky: could you please bring the Canada Project for MAAN SIR..thank you", she angrily hang up the phone.

Maan watched her silently with a small smile. He walked up her and held her by her waist. He said ,"Oh, I will find time, trust me" She half-heartedly tried to struggle out of his hold

Pinky called from behind," DD ..i mean..Maan sir..here's the file." and quickly rushed out of the office.

"Are u happy now? Now may we leave your highness?"

But Maan seemed to be thinking abt something else and asked Geet. "DD ?"

Geet giggled to herself and thought: Maan doesn't know about DD yet..and he says he knows everything..oh well

"Oh it's nothing Maan sir..she just confused Mk with DD.."

"Geettt..Pinky doesn't even call me Mk..are u going to tell me what DD means or what?" he asked in mock anger as he came towards her..

Geet took a step back, "Maan sir don't try to scare me, i already told you your anger has started to have less of an effect on me."

Maan inched closer, "really now?"

" I won't tell u if you threaten me like this.", she warned as she pointed at finger at him.

Maan stopped in his tracks and held up his hands in surrender, "ok..i will stop but u have to tell me now."

Geet giggled again.."well..DD actually mean Dhak Dhak ..because umm..you actually increase everyone's heartbeat." she said as she tried to compose her laughter..but finally busted out laughing.

Maan stood there fuming with anger making his hand into a fist. Geet spoke to herself:...oops maybe i shouldn't have told him.

She walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder to clam him down and said: M--Maan..don't worry.i am sure they meant it in a good way, you are actually very hot..i mean..all the girls find u very hot and that's---"

He cut her off by pulling her as close as one could, "Really..hmm..tht's true. Maan Singh Khurana is very good looking...no wonder all the girls find out me hot."

Geet frowned and asked, "you actually think that's a good thing?"

Maan thought to himself: now the fun starts and said, "of course, you said yourself that it's a good thing."

Geet glared at him; "no it's a very very very bad thing..u understand ..a bad thing , how dare you think about other girls? You only allowed to think about me and i am the only one allowed to call you Dhak Dhak..your only my DD..is that understood ?" she said as she walked towards him and for once they had role reversal as Geet walked towards him and Maan took steps back until he landed in his chair and she stood above him

Shock was written all over his face cause he didn't know she was capable to such anger and boldness.He suddenly smiled and she looked at him surprised.

He pulled her onto his lap and hugged her from the back and said. "WOW..Ms.Hp Express...such anger.i didn't know you had so much anger in you."

"it's not funny anymore."

He decided to console her and said, " baby, I was just joking. Geet, you already know that i belong you. the only one with who has a right over my heart."

Maan decided to also to place a quick kiss on her cheek in case she was still mad.

Geet realized how possessive she had sounded, " I am sorry, i didn't mean to sound so---"

"No no, don't say sorry..i liked it sweetheart."

"I am going to make sure no one ever calls you DD in this office ever again..Thaf's going to be my first order when i become Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana."

Maan just laughed

Flashback end

"Geet !", Meera exclaimed

"oh hi Meera", she tried to say in casual tone as she lifted herself from the balcony doors.

Meera came into the room ,"Oh god Geet.. i have been screaming your name. i was starting to get worried."

"I am sorry Meera. i didn't hear you."

Meera was a little confused, "but why are you sweating Geet ?"

Geet touched to her forehead to see that it was damp, "oh..actually..woh...i am feeling really hot", she said as she walked toward Meera

"oh okay, let me open the balcony doors for you."

Geet thought to herself: oh babaji.,,if maan is still there..why why ?? why me ??

Geet rushed to stop Meera, "no actually , i am feeling kind of cold now."

Meera was starting to really get confused and didn't really know wat to say.

Geet tried to think of something before Meera could question her any further and said. "By the way, what brings you here so late at night ?"

Meera looked down and said, "Woh actually, i forgot my phone here when i was helping you get ready earlier. And i wouldn't have came by so late but actually Dev said he was going to call tonight. She seemed embarrassed to reveal the truth to her ( i know it's a little unrealistic for someone to call so late from the jail but just bear with me. I needed a opening for the following conversation)

Geet felt for Meera. she walked up to her and gave her a hug.

"You are a really brave girl.do you know that? You are a girl who loved a man from years back. Then you met him years later after he made so many mistakes in his life yet you stood by him and helped make his wrongs into rights. And now you are waiting for him to come back."She placed her hand on her shoulder and continued, "You have nothing..absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. You have made Dev into a new person and you should be proud."

Meera started crying and tried to control her tears, "I know Geet. But not everyone thinks like you. People talk about it. They say that Dev deceived you, left NT and of course they don't know the true reality of her so they say that one day he will leave me too."

Geet shook her head, "No Meera, you know in your heart that will never happen. I just told you that he is a new person. And if you will listen to the world then how will you move on in your life ? If i had listened to the world, i would have killed myself by now. Trust me, the people of the world want you to lose the battle."

Geet wiped her tears and hugged her.

"Thank you, thank you for helping me see the truth. I know I shouldn't lose hope but sometimes it just gets too much. You are right. I love him and i don't care what the world says."

"That's the spirit. I am very proud of you."

Just then Meera's phone started to ring. They both looked at the dresser and Geet gave Meera a teasing look and said, "I wonder who could be calling." Geet walked up to the dresser and held up her phone.

Meera blushed and walked up to Geet , "Geet, please- can i please have my phone ?"

Geet decided to stop teasing her and said, "Here you go."

Meera picked up the phone, "Hello"

Meera mouthed thanks to geet and gave her a quick hug and walked out.

Geet smiled and thought: oh what a night'.actually..what a day and night. She suddenly seemed to remember that Maan in her balcony. She ran to check if he was still there. She opened the doors to find Maan standing there with tears running down his cheeks. She didn't say anything but instead went to wipe his tears and held him in a embrace. He was in pain; Maan had never been able to forgive Dev as she and Meera had been able to. She knew that but she tried to absorb his pain by holding him tight.

Just then his phone rang. he broke their embrace and picked it up

"I am coming home.", a voice said.

"What ?? Really ?"
