A very very hearty thank you to all those who commented, and pressed the like tab. And an even more bigger thank you to all those readers who have waited so patiently for the update.

Hello people,

I know you exact thoughts, finally, this girl has had he sense to upload another part. Well, the reason for my absence was college, hostel, followed by recent exams. Anyways, cutting it short, here is the most awaited part. I am not sure if it has turned out the way i wanted it to, and the way you expected it to, but still, here it is. Its not too long, but this is all i have right now, and about the next update, if it ever comes, God bless me, if i am left alive by you readers.

Also, this part is a special dedication to adi_gupta, guys, she's getting married, please do wish her, adi, all the best for your life, may God bless you with all the happiness.

RECAP:

"OH FREAKS", Mayank got up from his sleep with a jerk. He couldnt have, he just couldnt have had that dream, and that too, with Nupur, no, no ways, no blo*dy ways. It was just not possible to have dreamt like that about Nupur. Just thinking about the dream made him uncomfortable, a blush crossed his cheeks as he thought about it to himself. And may what have happened, his heart couldnt deny the fact that thinking about her just felt perfect, a little too more than it should have felt.

"I need to meet you Nupur, i really need to", saying this, he decided to be punctual to the college for atleast once in his life.

PART 7

Mayank got ready as fast as he could. He did not take much time like he always does. He went in the bathroom and brushed his teeth hurriedly. On normal days, he was half slept when he brushed his teeth, but today he made sure he did not miss to check his teeth twinkling (and boy! he did look so adorable). Next he did not waste any time relaxing in taking his shower or his bath tub (sorry girls,if you were waiting for a description of his bath too, but the guy is in a hurry you see) and came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around him (yup girls, now's the chance, let your imaginations fly high, but make sure they find their way back to my story). In his total getting ready, the only part where he took long time to get ready was when he was deciding what to wear. Either he did not like the colour, or else the style was not of his taste. Then suddenly, a thought struck him! What was Nupur's favourite colour? When he gave it a deeper thought, he realised he had no answer to this question. Just thinking about this one thing, other questions came brimming to him. What food did Nupur like? Which subject did she like? Did she like songs? If yes, then which types? All this led him to one thing, he knew nothing about Nupur's tastes and preferences. So he decided the first thing to do would be, to find out all what Nupur liked and disliked. Suddenly Mayank thought ki why was he thinking all this, why did his thoughts sterted and ended with Nupur? But he just shrugged it off, just thinking ki he was doing all this, because Nupur was different, and now, his assistant.

After working hard for long, Mayank decided to go with a blue jeans, and a white t-shirt to go with it. He woked a little on his hair, and finally tieying the laces of his shoes, he went off happily to his mom. She was working in the kitchen, he went and hugged her from behind, she turned, and the sight shocked her.

"Mayank, tu! How come, itni jaldi, itni subah tayaar hoke... i mean, tu theek to hai na (checking his forehead) bukhaar to nahi hai phir..."

"Mom mom mom, relax, take a chill pill! Wo aaj friends ke saath kuch plan hai, so am going early"

"Really, aise kaun se friends hain who made my son change his habits and rise early"

A smile played across his face as he recalled Nupur, but he immediately changed it, and said,

"Mom, why are you acting all so suspicious, i am sitting on the table, please mera breakfast la do", saying this, he moved out,

"Mayank, wo kitni sundar hai na..."

"Kitni nahi, sabse sundar, the most beautiful...", he suddenly bit his tongue, "Ah mom, aap kis ki baat kar rahe ho?"

"Usi friend ki jisne mere late-lateef bete ko pehli bar itni jaldi utha diya, us friend ki jis se milne ke liye mera always so cool beta aaj itna tayaar hoke aaya hai, us friend ki jis se milne ke liye mera hamesha calm rehne wala beta aaj itna excited hai, aur us friend ki jis ke baare mein sochte hie mera glum face wala beta smile aur blush bhi kar raha hai"

"Mom, aap mere friends ko aise kyun bol rahi ho, you can call them Sumit, Simran, Anny and Chacko..."

Shilpa had moved towards him, and held his ear,

"Chal, badmaash, mom se jhooth bolta hai"

"Ouch ouch, mom, chhodo, please, dard ho raha hai"

"Ek shart pe, mujhe us ladki se kab milwayega"

"Mom, abhi aisa kuch nahi hai, jab kuch hoga, tab milwaoonga"

Shilpa immediately left him, and hugged him,

"Mayank, you dont know how happy i am today, i mean..."

"Mom, chill, aisa kabhi nahi hone wala, anyways, ab breakfast do please, i am hungry"

Mayank left, and Shilpa thought to herself,

'Ab mujhe koi chinta nahi hai beta, because ab to sab kuch ho chuka hai'

After finishing his breakfast, with his mom's constant teasy smiles and stares, he left off picking up his bike keys. When he reached on the door, he called,

"Mom, Suhu ko bolna ki aaj wo car le ja sakti hai, mine, if she wants to"

"Par beta Suhaani to...", her sentence was left mid-air as she saw that Mayank had left.

Mayank reached the college, and he was welcomed with loads of mouths opened. People were shocked, of all the people, how could Mayank Sharma be on time. His friends also stood gaping as he parked his bike and went to them.

"Guys, mooh band karo, makhi ghus jayegi", Mayank came, and settled on Sumit's car.

"Par Mayank, tu, itni jaldi, wo bhi bike pe, itne dino baad, and you're looking different today, how come?", Sumit asked,

"Areh guys, whats up with all of you, first mom, then aane laga to dad, dadi n dadu ne pakad liya. Areh, just for a change, cant i come early, and aaj mausam kitna achha hai, so car laane ka mann nahi tha, socha bike pe chalta hoon, and i look different everyday, coz i am, samjhe", he finished off. Though his friends were not convinced, still, they left it. They started talking about random stuff, while Mayank's eyes stood on the gates, and occassionally looked around.

"Mayank, kisko dhoondh rahe ho?", Simran suddenly asked,

"Kaun, main, main umm wo, main... main Suhu ko dhoondh raha tha, she hasnt come yet na", Mayank fumbled,

"Oh Suhaani ko, wo...", Sumit was cutt off by the ringing of the bell, and they all rushed to the classes, Mayank spared one last glance to the gates, and thought,

'Class mein to tumhe aana hie padega Nupur, aur agar waha bhi bach gayi, to aaj ki newspaper meeting se bachke kaha jaogi, here i come'

Mayank entered the class, and was disappointed to find Nupur's seat still empty. He settled on his seat, a few seats behind Nupur, from where he had a clear view and kept staring at her during all the classes. More students came in, but Nupur was nowhwere to be found. The classes began, but Mayank, like always, did not pay any attention. He was busy looking at the pictures of the person who did not let him concentrate, pictures which he had quietly clicked in the college without anybody noticing, pictures which he had taken from Suhaani's cell without letting her know.

Classes started, and ended, but there was no trace of Nupur. Even during the lunch break, Mayank was lost searching for Nupur in the whole college, but could not find him. To his bad luck, Adhiraj and Suhaani were also not there. Finally, he did not talk to the others in his disappointment, and when, she did not come for the newspapers meeting also, Mayank decided to go to the principal. After all this girl had tested the extremes of Mayank Sharma's patience.

"Please may i come in sir?", Mayank asked,

"Areh Mayank, come in, sure, have a seat"

"Thank you sir"

"Bolo, kya kar sakta hoon main tumhare liye?"

"Woh sir, its actually about... about Nupur Bhushan. She was supposed to be there for the meeting but..."

Oh my God! Mayank, wo actually Nupur is on leave today, she asked me to inform you, but i forgot, am so sorry"

"But sir, today was the first meeting, how she take a leave, and how could you grant her one"

"Mayank, Mayank, relax. Nupur had applied for the leave long time back, for the engagement, so i could not deny it to her now, could i? And no worries, she had asked someone to recored the whole meeting for her, so dont worry ok, she'll catch up as soon as she's back"

"Sir engagement?", Mayank suddenly shouted,

"Mayank please, calm down

Mayank left the office with confusion and anger, 'engagement'. ye kiski engagement ki baat ho rahi thi. Why did not sir explain anything, and engagement, surely sir wasnt talking abt Nupur's engagement, she couldnt be getting engaged. A chill ran across Mayank even as he thought about it, no, no, this couldnt happen, or could it? After all, he did not know anything about Nupur's life, did he?

The gang saw Mayank's upset face, and asked him,

"Mayank, what happened?"

"Nupur has gone for the engagement", words came out of his mouth carelessly,

"Haan, tujhe nahi pata tha kya?", Sumit asked,

"What? Tujhe pata tha?", Mayank shouted,

"Haan, usne kal jaate huye bataya, Suhaani aur Adhiraj bhi to usi ke saath gaye hain", Sumit said as a matter of fact,

"But, but Suhaani did not even tell me, i mean, uski friend ki engagement, and she did not tell me", Mayank questioned with hurt on his face, another second, and he could just cry out there,

"Par Mayank, why would Nupur tell you agar uski friend ki engagement hai to, actually, Suhaani should have told you that Adhiraj n she were going with Nupur too", Sumit further said,

"Kya, Nupur ki friend ki engagement?", Mayank asked,

"Haan, Nupur's friend is getting engaged, isiliye to wo teeno Lonavla gayye hain", but seeing the time, i think they should be back in an hour or so!", Sumit said,

Just listening to this, the smile which appeared on Mayank's face was worth watching. It appeard as if God had given him back his breath, which the principal had taken away. It appeared that his heart was now beating, but Mayank wondered, how could something related to anyone else have such an effect on him.

Nupur is not anyone, she's special.

Mayank's question was immediately answered by his heart. Mayank had always tried to ignore this fact, but his heart was right. Nupur was special, not just because she was the first girl who was not charmed by him, by the Mayank Sharma, not just because she was the first person to beat him in a challenge, not just because Mayank Sharma did not exist for her, not just because she was the only person to have won Suhaani's trust, Suhaani who did not trust even her brother with her feelings, but this was Nupur Bhushan. Everything about her shouted special, and as much as he wanted, he could not deny it. He smiled at this, and just then, his heart gave a beat, a special beat, and he immediately looked up at the gates of the college.

Loved it and more i loved is the description when mayank was getting ready :)
