Kareena and Dior - really ????

Kareena Kapoor has been frantically busy and not been home for the last six months. She has whizzed into the city for a couple of days at a time, usually to shoot a bunch of commercials, and whizzed out again to film Shah Rukh Khan's superhero fantasy Ra.One, or Saif Ali Khan's thriller Agent Vinod.

"I don't really mind it because there's nothing really exciting in my life apart from work. And when in Mumbai, I usually manage to catch some time with my parents, Lolo (sister Karisma Kapoor), my niece Samaira and nephew Kiaan," she reasons.

One fallout of her hectic schedule is that she lost out on the chance to be at the Paris Fashion Week. Reportedly, she was invited to walk for Christian Dior but the actor had to take a rain check. "My manager would have had a cardiac arrest if I had jetted off to the French capital in the middle of a Ra.One shoot, with two commercials to get through," she laughs.

There's been a lot of talk of Kareena launching her designer line. She admits there are a lot of offers for a tie-up but sighs, "I've been so busy with my films that I don't think it will happen for at least one year. As it is, I have to squeeze time out for my ads. Certain brands have been loyal to me for almost a decade and I can't disappoint them. And some international brands are too big to turn down, they help to make me a global face."

except that Christian Dior doesn't have actors or actresses walking for them .... ever ..... not even from hollywood ......

The only thing i can think of is that they invited her to watch the show and not Walk as stated ..... which is also a stretch of the imagination. She is virtually unknown in that part of the world. Even ash , the only indian actress those people have a clue about was just invited to the armani show and that too just this year even though their association stretches years back.

and despite all the inkaars and we-love-only-bollywood, there is not one of them who would miss an opportunity to rub shoulders with the international set in the biggest fashion week of the year, if for nothing else then for the huge publicity it would generate here ....

So, bad reporting or over exaggeration by Kareena ?
