July 27 Written update (completed)

Part 1

Ghanti is worried that the truth about Meena's pregnancy will come out.

Ramakant is very happy and talking with Aastha's Mom. Everyone becomes concerned when they see Meena being escorted out.

Ramakant prays that Meena & the baby will be ok. Ramakant is worried that Aastha is going with Meena. Bhagyashree goes with them.

Ramakant apologises to the guests that they have to cancel the Godh Bharai ceremony.

Meena is in pain and being wheeled in to the hospital room. Gaurav is very worried that there is some complication in Meena's pregnancy if she is having pains in her 7^th month. Shivam consoles him.

Avni arrives and greets Aastha's Mom. She says that Aastha had called her and informed what happened to Meena. She asks for Krishna. Ramakant gets upset by this. Aastha's Mom is happy that Avni is here to take care of Krishna. Ganga is worried that Aastha went to the hospital in this condition. Aastha's Mom promises to talk to Aastha about this.

Ghanti tries to hint to Meena to talk to the doctor so that her secret will not be revealed. She begs the doctor not to tell the family that she is in the 9^th month. The doctor is confused by her request and suspects that the baby is not her husband's. Meena tells her that it is her husband's baby; it's just that the news of her pregnancy came very late and the family thinks that it's her 7^th month. She tells them that her in-laws are very strict and she will be in a lot of trouble. She begs her to help her or she will refuse to let the child be born and the doctor will be blamed for her death. The doctor tries to console her.

Bulbul asks Avni when will her Mom come home. Aastha's Mom comes and tell her there's nothing to worry about, the delivery will be done by Caesarean. Bulbul is happy and plays with Krishna.

Ramakant prays for the safety of Meena & the baby and hopes that his prayers for a grandson will be answered.

Shivam calls home and Ramakant rushes to answer the phone. Shivam tells him that the delivery went well and everything is ok. Shivam says there were no complications with the premature delivery. Rmakant is happy and asks how is his grandson. Shivam informs that Meena had a girl. Ramakant is shocked.

Part 2

Ramakant is upset and hangs up the phone. Ganga, Kavita & Bulbul come excited to hear the news but sees his upset expression. He reluctantly tells them that Meena & the baby are fine. Bulbul leaves happily. Ganga & Kavita realize from his disappointed look that the baby is a girl. Ganga asks if Ramakant was just as disappointed when she was born. Ganga consoles her that it was not so. Kavita says that's because he already had 2 sons. She leaves sadly. Ganga feels her pain

All are gathered in Meena's room. Gaurav thanks her for making him a father a second time and even speaks in her funny English. Then he says I'll go bring your daughter. Meena is shocked when she hears daughter and asks for her son because she was sure that she was going to give birth to a son. Everyone stares at her and she becomes hysterical wanting to know if she gave birth to a son. She feels that the hospital has changed her baby. She is totally hysterical and begins shouting at Aastha to tell her where her son is.

Part 3

Meena is shouting at Aastha and accusing her of being jealous of her and wanting to be the first to give Ramakant a son that's why she is conspiring with them to hide her son.

Guarav shouts at Meena and brings her to her senses. Shivam tries to calm him down. Gaurav says she is crazy; Aastha risked her life by accompanying Meena to the hospital in her delicate condition and Meena is accusing her of such awful things. Aastha consoles Meena and brings the baby girl to Meena describing how pretty she is. Meena feels repentant and gradually softens. Aastha hands her the baby and cajoles her to take her. Meena takes the baby girl from Aastha's hand and breaks down in tears then hugs the baby. Gaurav puts his hands on her shoulder to console her and she cries it out. Everyone joins in consoling her.

Aastha & Gaurav are shocked when they overhear Meena complaining to Ghanti how hard she had tried to get Krishna thrown out of the house.
