season 2-3 coming up afterwards

due to article it is said that season one is coming to an end will the story have a true, completely end doing justice to the story if it end here? or may be they will have to come up with season 2 and 3 afterwards as i have never read read the novel please who read it are well aware please leave some information it weill be a treat.
