Aryan Vaid has jumped on to the bandwagon. In times where all actors must have a mention of 'international' projects on their bio-data, he is all set to act in an English film too.
The film, produced by Bobby Kent and directed by Debloy Dey, is based on the infamous London blasts at King's Cross on July 7, 2005. "The film has been shot at King's Cross," says Vaid. "We have just completed the shooting. I play a London-based Sri Lankan cabbie in it."
According to Vaid, the film has a cast of English actors. There are plans to send the film to various festivals. "It's a cute love story and it was fun working for it," he says. "Our director Debloy Dey has managed to get some good performances from us."
Back home, Vaid is also doing Aapne with Anil Sharma, where he essays a negative character, "We have started shooting for Aapne," he says. "The film has effected a casting coup of sorts, with Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in it." Vaid is also working in Take Two, produced by Bobby Kent. He hates his current image as a star of sex-based films. "I did Market with Manisha and after that producers started promoting those films as sex films," he says. "I have stopped doing these films now. I am waiting for better offers to come to me, hopefully things will fall into place for me."
