"Look at those girls standing over there and just smile!" Prem raised his eyebrows, "Have you gone crazy!?" He asked worriedly.

"Prem just do it! Please." Heer begged.

Prem turned around and smiled at the girls, "Oh wow! Your right Heer they are Hot!" He blew them kisses.

Heer rolled her eyes, "I didn't ask you to tell me that they were hot!" She nagged, "Now come on!"

"Be right back!" Announced Prem quickly walking over to the girls and handing them his number cards. Heer groaned patiently waiting for him to come back.

"Let's go!" She urged pulling him away when he got back, "You have no idea how much drama I had to go through because of you!"

Prem smirked, "What drama?"

"Forget it!" She stammered walking towards the gate. Just then Priya, Sanjana, Rahul and Kunaal walked up to them from a distance.

"Prem!" Called Kunaal, "What are you doing?! Hurry up, we're late for football!"

"Shit!" Growled Prem, "I forgot all about it!" He quickly ran up to the guys and all three of them disappeared. Heer walked up to Priya and Sanjana and walked home with them.

Chapter 9

You Make Me Stare Just A Little Too Long...

Heer, Priya and Sanjana walked to Heers house laughing. As soon as they got there they quickly got fresh and then left for shopping. The three of them spent hours shopping together, Heer bought everything she needed to buy and afterwards when they were finished Heer, Priya and Sanjana ate in the food centre.

"This is why I say you should come shopping with a guy!" Laughed Sanjana struggling to hold her shopping bags.

Heer laughed, "Why? So he can hold your bags for you?"

Priya laughed, "Yeh and you always come home with a gift!" Sanjana and Priya burst into laughter.

"God how are we going to walk home with so many bags?" Asked Sanjana still struggling.

Heer sighed at her, "Sanju I think your so used to having Kunaal hold your bags for you that you cant even do it yourself now! I have more bags than you I'm not moaning!"

Sanjana laughed, "You wait till you get your man to hold your bags for you! You'll know exactly what I'm saying!" Heer blushed quickly looking away.

The three of them left the shopping mall and started walking home. They were near the end of the road when they noticed a group of drunk boys standing at the end of Heers road drinking and smoking. "Guys I think we should turn around!" Suggested Heer worried.

"Heer they can't do anything just walk straight past them, there's three of us," instructed Priya. When they got to the end of the road the boys stood up staring at them and laughing. Sanjana glared at them quickly turning around but to their surprise a guy was standing there blocking their way. "Move!" Shouted Sanjana walking forward. Heer and Priya followed behind her their hearts beating. Heer noticed a guy staring at her, she swallowed quickly speeding up.

"Hey babe!" He said grabbing hold of her arm and pulling her close. Heer shrieked pushing him away and started screaming. He grabbed hold of her again this time holding her tight around the waist. He was drunk. "Tonight in bed?" He asked smirking at her. "Get off me!" Heer wailed trying to kick him. Sanjana's mouth hung open and she quickly moved forward to save Heer but another guy pushed her out of the way. Priya swore at the guy trying to help Heer but the guy held on tight. "You sexy, sexy girl," he whispered; "Now where were you going babe? Come to my house! Your boyfriend will never know?" Heer felt tears streaming down her face as he ran his finger down her cheek. She struggled to pull away from his grip. The whole group of boys surrounded her.

"Leave her alone!" Screamed Priya.

Heers heart stopped for a second. "Please leave me alone!" She begged tears flowing from her eyes continuously. The way he was holding her was really uncomfortable and she felt like she was going to faint.

"Now what would I do If I let you go!" He sneered into her ears, "You're just so damn beautiful!" Sanjana and Priya looked around them for help but to their surprise the street was completely empty. The guy dragged Heers dress up from her legs slowly. Heer screamed trying to stop him.

"Leave me!" She cried unable to control her tears now. Heer spat in his face quickly freeing herself from his grip and started running down the street pushing all the guys out of the way. "Sanju, Priya run!" She screamed. The three of them ran down the street for dear life. Heer could hear the group of boys running after them. "Help!" she screamed crying. They shouted running as fast as they possibly could.

"Come back!" Shouted the guy. Heer ran all the way over to the end of the road when suddenly she slipped and went flying to the ground scraping both her knee and hands. "Ow!" She screamed her face wet with tears. Blood poured from her knee. She could hear the guys catching up now. She quickly stood up ignoring the pain up and started running, "Help!" She screamed running down the street when she bumped hard across someone's chest.

She gasped aloud looking up seeing Prems face, "Prem!" She screamed hugging him tight and sobbing into his chest.

"Heer?" Prem whispered, his arms tight around hers shaking her gently, "Are you all right?"

"Prem!" She breathed. Tears overflowed from her eyes without warning, gushing down her face.

"Heer!" He said louder, alarmed now. "What's wrong?" He wiped the tears from her hot cheeks with cold, frantic fingers, but others followed.

"Those guys!" She couldn't contain the low sob that broke in her voice, "They, they..." She wrapped her arms around his neck in a chokehold and sobbed into his throat.

"Heer what happened?" He asked holding her close, stroking her hair.

"Those guys they they...I fell over and they nearly got me...and...," The group of guys finally caught up looking around for Heer.

Prem pulled Heer away from himself glaring at the guys his eyes narrowing. He realized that they must be the reason for Heers tears. He was fuming in anger and walked up to the guys his hand tight in a fist. Heer grabbed hold of his arm, "No Prem leave them!" She whispered pulling him into another hug. "Their drunk! I don't want anything to happen to you!" She whined. The guys quickly turned around and ran away seeing Prem.

"Heer?" Gritted Prem shocked, "Let me get them!" He shouted trying to pull her away.

"No Prem!" Begged Heer still sobbing and refusing to let go of him, "Please!"

Prem sighed stroking her hair, "Can you please tell me what happened properly? Weren't you guys together?" He asked turning to face Sanjana and Priya. They nodded telling Prem everything that happened. Prem pulled Heer away wiping her tears, "Let's go inside." He said walking over to her house. Heer pulled away from him wiping her tears on the back of her hand and walked inside.

Sanjana turned to Priya, "Remember when I said that I was 100% sure they're in love? Well now I'm 1000% sure." She whispered. Priya nodded still shocked from the incident.

Prem made Heer sit on the sofa, "Calm down," he comforted, "Everything's okay."

Heer smiled at him, "I need a drink." She croaked her voice still teary. She stood up and quickly walked over to the kitchen.

"How was football practice?" She asked sitting down beside him.

Prem grinned, "Football practice was Okaayy, we have the tournament against the other college next year!"

"Don't worry I'll be there to support you! Anddd I'm sure you'll win since you're the best player on the team!" She said slightly grinning.

Prem grinned, "I'm sure we will!"

"Heer look at your Knee!" Sanjana pointed out quickly over to get a bandage. Her knee was all scraped wet with blood. Heer pulled her dress up a little so it wasn't touching the blood. "Ow!" Moaned Heer wrapping the bandage around her knee.

"Wasn't there anyone else around when these guys were troubling you!?" Asked Prem rather concerned. He glanced at Heers knee moving over to help her.

Sanjana shook her head, "The street was completely empty in fact if you hadn't of turned up god knows what would have happened! And the guys were completely drunk!" She sighed.

"I've never seen them before on your street! What were they doing here today!?" Priya asked.

"I've seen them here a couple of times." Replied Prem, "In fact they've started hanging around here on weekends just recently."You're lucky I heard you guys screaming on my way back from football."

Heer looked over at Prem, "Promise me you won't go up to them!" Prem sighed promising her. "Those guys are dangerous!" She warned him, "I just don't want anything to happen to you."

Prem smiled, "I'm going now the guys are waiting for me at the pitch!" He announced standing up to leave, "You guys have fun with your sleepover!" He chuckled walking towards the door. "Take care!"

"Bye!" Called Heer suddenly laughing. Priya and Sanjana laughed watching him leave and Heer smiled to herself happily. Within minutes they had completely forgotten what had happened and started talking, playing around and enjoying themselves to the fullest.

"I hate twilight!" She moaned.

"Too bad!" laughed Priya, "We had to watch Inception because of you!"

Heer ran over to the kitchen quickly grabbing some more drinks and popcorn and quickly ran back to the living room to watch her favourite movie. She didn't even want to miss a minute; this was her favourite movie ever and she was madly in love with Edward Cullen. The way he loved Bella always made her dream for a guy like him. She had seen this movie like a billion times yet she still wasn't bored of it.

"Yay more popcorn!" Grinned Priya grabbing a hand full and stuffing her face. Heer laughed jumping on the sofa beside her quickly pressing the play button.

"Okay let's do something else now!" Suggested Sanjana bored of watching movies. They had watched 4 movies and all of them were romantic except for inception.

"Let's play a game!" Priya quickly said, "Truth and truth!"

Heer laughed, "I thought it was truth and dare!" She asked confused.

The three of them started playing loads of games and when Heer realized the game was going a bit too far she quickly ended it. Priya and Sanjana started asking each other about Sex and Heer couldn't help but feel awkward. "Okay guys that's it were not playing this game anymore!" She announced standing up.

"Why?" Both Sanjana and Priya whined together.

"Because you're going too far!"

Priya laughed, "Fine then lets watch another movie, I want to watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai again anyway!"

They slumped back onto the sofas throwing off pieces of popcorn that were lying everywhere and quickly placed the movie in. Heer grinned throughout the film. Sanjana laughed, "When ever I watch this movie I think of Prem and Heer!"

Priya nodded in agreement, "Me too! Prem and Heer are just like Anjaali and Rahul!"

Heer rolled her eyes, "except we don't love each other!"

"That's what you think!" Sanjana thought to herself grinning.

By the end of the day the girls were exhausted. The movie was finally over and Sanjana yawned turning the TV off, "This movie makes me feel sad!" She moaned.

Heer laughed, "Your face makes me feel sad!"

"Very funny Heer!" Sanjana muttered.

The whole room was a complete mess; there were cards lying around, popcorn scattered all around the floor, dirty dishes on the table, pillows and blankets lying on the couch.

"What are you guys wearing to the club tomorrow!?"Asked Priya watching Heer come out of the bathroom in her shorts and tank top.

"I'm wearing a short black dress." Exclaimed Sanjana. "What are you wearing?"

Priya grinned, "Mini-skirt with a sleeveless pink top. What about you Heer?" She asked as Heer crawled into the bed beside them.

Heer sighed, "No idea!"

Priya rolled her eyes, "Heer you're so annoying! Why don't you like all of this stuff! Come on act a little bit more interested, be lively! Act like a teenager not a fifty year old grandma!" She scolded.

Heer grinned, "I do not act like a fifty year old grandma!"

"Yes you do!" Agreed Sanjana, "Come on Heer, stop being so boring! Getting drunk, flirting with boys, clubbing, chilling out! Its all part of a teenager's life and you happen to like none of it! Get out there and start acting like a normal 18 year old!" She instructed, "When you're older you won't have a chance to do all of this stuff and you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" She warned.

Heer laughed, "Okay now can you guys please stop being my mother and can we go to sleep?" She pleaded.

"Not yet!" Moaned Priya sitting up in bed. "Who's up for a pillow fight?" She grinned.

The next half an hour was spent throwing pillows around at each other, laughing and talking away. Before they knew it Priya and Sanjana started telling each other scary stories laughing there heads off. Heer swallowed; she was frightened but she decided not to speak. She was trying hard not to listen but she could clearly hear them. She sighed to herself thinking that she wouldn't be able to sleep the whole night now. She groaned quietly lying down in bed and turning to sleep on her stomach.

Lights out.

When she still couldn't sleep she leaned over and grabbed hold of her mobile quickly dialing Prems number. "He's probably asleep." She though when there was no response for about a minute. She pulled the phone away from her ear about to cut it when she heard a slightly muffled voice on the other end.

"Hello?"

Heer pulled the mobile back to her ears, "Hey." She whispered, "What are you doing?"

"Um I was asleep!" Prem murmured yawning, "Heer why are you still awake? It's like three in the morning!" He asked worriedly.

"Prem I can't sleep!" She whispered, "I'm scared."

Prem rolled his eyes, "Aren't Sanjana and Priya with you?"

"Yea but they fell asleep and um we were kind of talking about scary stories and now I can't sleep!" She whined.

Prem grinned tiredly, "Come to your balcony." He ordered. Heer climbed out of bed carefully walking over to her balcony afraid something was going to step out and grab hold of her. Prem was standing on the other side on his balcony, his shirtless body shining in the dim light.

"Aren't you cold?" Asked Heer staring at him.

"Well yes! Too bad you got me to climb out of my warm cosy bed!" Heer pouted feeling guilty. "Why didn't you sleep with Sanjana and Priya?" He asked yawning again.

"Because they fell asleep and I was too scared." She whispered, "Its okay you can go to bed, Goodnight!"

Prem laughed, "Do you need me to come and rock you to bed in my arms?" He asked cheekily.

Heer bit her lip, "Shut up Prem, you're not funny!" She moaned.

Prem took a deep breath sighing, "Okay go and get in bed!" Heer obediently shut her window and hopped back into her bed. "Are you in?" He asked.

"Yeh!" Replied Heer snuggling under the covers.

"Okay now close your eyes!" He instructed.

"Why?"

"Just do it!" Prem demanded. Heer let her eyes fall shut. "Now think of something that makes you happy!"

Heer closed her eyes tight thinking hard when an image of Prem dancing around like an idiot played in her mind. Heer quickly sat up in bed looking around confusingly. She sighed slumping back down and closing her eyes. The same image of Prem came in her mind again. "Keep thinking!" Said Prem on the other side. Heer hugged her teddy tight a massive smile spread across her face and before she knew it her mind drooped off to sleep.

Prem narrowed his eyebrows sensing that she was asleep, "Goodnight," He whispered into the phone smiling at the stupid way he had to make her sleep. Prem cut the call walking into his own room and jumping into bed turning his lamp off.

"It's a bit uncomfortable!" Heer whined.

"No Heer its fine now stop complaining and sort your hair out!" Priya instructed, "I want it curled!"

Heer was tired of all of this and the only thing she wanted right now was to crawl back into her own bed and sleep. She had slept on the couch the whole night and it certainly wasn't comfortable; her neck still felt a bit strained. She really didn't want to go clubbing with all of them because she knew she wasn't going to dance, drink or party like everyone else. Seriously? What was the point of her going? Heer sighed loudly curling her hair into tight scrunches.

"Gee Heer you look gorgeous!" Priya cried, "I'm jealous!" She grinned joking.

"Omg Heer you look so pretty! Any guy would want you!" Sanjana added in staring at her.

Heer blushed looking away, "Thanks guys but I seriously don't want to go." She begged.

Priya rolled her eyes, "Heer your still on the same page? Move on! Come on we're leaving!" She grunted pulling both Sanjana and Heer downstairs.

Heer stumbled down the steps frowning. Just then Prem walked in, "Hey guys are, woooah..." He paused staring at Heer, "You look, um you look different!" He said continuing to stare.

"I know the dress doesn't look nice does it?" Heer shrieked "I told Priya and Sanjana! Hang on ill go and change it two..."

Prem cut in, "No Heer the dress looks nice!"

Sanjana grinned, "I know gorgeous right, just like her?"

Prem nodded, "Now come on let's go!" He chuckled walking out of the door. Heer smiled to herself following him outside.

"Let's dance Heer!" Suggested Priya tugging her arm.

"No Priya you dance I don't feel like it. Please." She begged.

Priya sighed when Rahul came up to her placing a kiss on her lips. Heer smiled quickly moving to the side. Priya was distracted and this was her only chance of get away from dancing. Heer sat down alone at the bar taking a glass of coke from one of the waiters. She sighed watching everyone dancing around and screaming. Half the people were drunk, couples were hiding in corners kissing and the rest were just going crazy hooking up with everyone. Heer looked around for Prem but didn't even catch a single glimpse of him. She gulped down the coke chewing on her bottom lip boredly. The loud music was getting to her head and with all the flashing lights she couldn't help but feel suffocated. Heer glanced at the time on her phone when she heard a voice call her name.

"Hey Heer!"

Heer looked up and smiled at the person standing in front of her. It was Sameer. "Hey!" She greeted back shaking his hand and standing up. She caught a glimpse of Prem kissing a girl in the corner and sighed to herself.

"You look gorgeous!" He complimented.

"Um thanks!" She replied slightly blushing.

"You on your own?" He asked looking around for Prem.

Heer shook her head, "No I came with some friends, their dancing and I just felt like sitting here for a while."

Sameer smiled at her, "Um Heer if you don't mind would you like to dance with me?" He asked nervously.

Heer looked at him, he was asking so politely and she really didn't want to turn him down. No matter how much she didn't want to dance Heer swallowed before sweetly replying, "Sure!" Sameer took her hand happily pulling her into the crowd of dancing music.

He slid his arms around her waist pulling hers up to his shoulders. Heer swallowed feeling extremely awkward. He danced with her when a whole group of boys came crowding her. Heer felt her head spinning and she quickly excused herself moving to the side. She grabbed a glass of coke from the waiter and gulped it all down. Her head started aching and before she knew it she was falling over. "Heer!" Called Priya running up to her. "Heer are you okay?!" She asked worriedly.

"What happened?!" Questioned Prem holding Heer. She murmured something before falling into his arms and fainting. "Is she drunk?" Asked Prem turning to Priya.

Priya stared back at him, "Prem why would she be drunk! Heers not like that! She didn't even want to bloody come!" She bursted.

"Maybe someone mixed something in her drink!" Prem suspected his eyes growing, "You stay here I'll take her home." He ordered picking up Heer and walking outside to his car.

Prem parked the car right outside her house quickly picking Heer up and stumbled into her house. To his surprise the door was already open and he climbed upstairs holding her close. Prem opened the door to her bedroom turning the lights on with his shoulder and then placed her on the bed softly. Her arms were wrapped around his neck and she was holding tight. He tried pulling away but she gripped on tighter causing his face to move closer to his. Their lips were only centimetres apart. "Prem please don't go..." Heer mumbled. Prem narrowed his eyes touching her forehead. It was warm and he sensed that she was ill. Someone had mixed something in her drink that had caused her to sleep.

"Heer I need to go..." Prem whispered back slightly moving away from her. He stood up unwrapping her arms from around his neck and placed them by her side." Heer mumbled something in her sleep cuddling up. He pulled the blanket over her and then turned the lights, gently closing the door behind him. Heer turned over. She felt a pain in her heart when he left...
