Exactly what I was going to say...even if you do not like what happened, you cannot deny that it happens every where in the world, EVEN India--just take a look at the recent Valentine's Day Scandal that was blown up by the media. This is the 21st century, people ARE having pre-marital sex and that is just what Ekta is showing--and how can you guys say that she is being cheap as this is a family serial, what about all those Bollywood movies these days--EVERY movie (and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE) has a sex/kissing scene these days...look at the success of Murder and Julie and all those Emran Haashmi movies...as people say, only two things sell-Sex and SRK
Ekta is well aware of the facts that a) sex sells and b) that people are either going to be shocked by what happens or they are going to like it, either way, they will tune into the show the next day...and what do you guys think, that all the actors who play these characters don't have sex in their personal lives? Granted, some may not--they may believe that it is better to wait till marriage, but come on, I still believe that many of them have healthy love lives...even Manoj and his gf.
Finally, why does everyone give sex so much importance? If it happens before marriage, it is a sin, and if you don't produce a child after marriage, people believe something is wrong with you...forget about sex, its really not that important...i think that it is such a taboo subject because people give it too much importance...the decision of whether to have pre-marital sex or not is entirely up to the individual.
