AUTHOR'S NOTE - Aimee di pointed out that i'd named two important characters in my ff Karan, one is Armaan'schachu, Karan Mallik, n the other is Jennifer's love interest, Karan Mehra. So i am changing the new wala Karan into Arjun Mehra, Jennifer's love interest. Thank u Aimee di for the observation as well as the suggestion. I am sorry to all for the confusion.
Many of u had said tht Riddhima is a perfect girl, while Armaan makes mistakes, and how can they be together. So in this part i've showed Riddhima's little flaws, hope u like it. And i also hope tht now u can think of Riddhima's character as realistic.

Riddhima, Armaan, Atul, Rahul n Jennifer were standing in the common room (yeah, my office i mean Ridzi's office does have a common room, n i havent thought its use yet), n discussing abt their to be secretaries who were abt to come. Just then some people knock and enter the room. Jennifer started speaking,
"Mr Joshi, this is Mrs Maria Gomes(she pointed towards an old lady, maybe in her 50s), she is ur assistant cum secretary"
"Hello Mrs Gomes, nice to meet you", Atul said,
"The feeling is mutual Mr Joshi", Mrs Gomes smiled, Riddhima was aware of Atul's avoidance of girls, and Mrs Gomes had been Jennifer's idea, moreover, she hadnt missed Atul sigh in relief after being introduced to Mrs Gomes. Then again Jennifer continued,
"Mr Rahul Mallik, this is Mr Sumit Jain, ur assistant"
Rahul shaked hands with Sumit, a guy abt the same age as them, and dropped a hi. He then looked at Riddhima only to see her looking everywhere except him. He coughed slightly, making Riddhima look at him, n she muttered,
"What? Dont give me tht expression, this recommendation has been made by to-be-Mrs Muskaan Mallik"
This made Rahul chuckle, so did Riddhima, and they averted their attention to Jennifer,
"Mr Armaan Mallik, u shall be assisted by Miss Sheena Seth"
A girl in a green micro mini dress came forward to shake hands with Armaan and then hugged him.
"Hello Mr Mallik, i mean Armaan, i am glad to meet u, i love watching u play tennis n u r amazing, i'm glad i got u"
Armaan felt really awkward, though he'd experienced such craze by his female fans, but today he felt really odd, maybe he was imagining Riddhima's reaction to it, but when he saw her, she was busy laughing at something Jennifer had said, and by the looks of it, the comment had been abt Sheena. He came out of the hug and stepped back a little. It also felt strange, becoz no one had addressed Riddhima as the tennis player, she was only their boss.
"So gentlemen, u've met ur help in the office, and this person here, is, Jenny, Miss Jennifer Augustin. She is my right hand and the base of the office, she manages everything around here, whenever u feel the need, just contact her, she'll be there. Your assistants have also been informed of reporting to Jenny, Miss Jennifer for u all. And Miss Augustin, a good news for u, u have been promoted, as the official manager of Ragz, the tennis player"
"But wht abt Nikita mam", Jennifer was shocked, and Riddhima replied,
"Nikita thinks tht u've been doing all the work lately, n she has her agenda to sort too, so, why not announce ur position officially, moreover, she didnt like taking the credit of ur work, so, from today, u r my official manager, and not my manager's assistant"
"Thank u so much mam, it means a lot to me. Now, all of u, i shall take u to ur cabins", Jennifer replied, and they all followed her to the rooms they thought were their cabins. They entered the first one, it was a beautiful cabin, the interiors were done in all shades of green, just then Jennifer spoke,
"Mr Joshi, this is ur cabin"
Atul thought tht Riddhima knew his fondness of plants, he gave her the knowing look, n Riddhima spoke,
"The credit goes to Jenny, she found out ur favourite colour n ur attachment to plants (hey all,in my story, Atul loves plants, but he's not so crazy after them, he's more sensible than in dmg, but i like him more in dmg), so, dont look at me"
"Hey Jennifer, thanks so much, i love it, n Ridzi, amazing work too", Atul showed his gratitude,
Next they went to another room, it was decorated in a different way, the interiors were done in shades of golden colour with touches of silver. Jennifer said,
"Mr Mallik, i mean Mr Rahul Mallik, this one is for u"
As far as Armaan recalled, Rahul hated yellow n its shades, especially golden, he used to call it 'cham cham colours are for glam dolls', quite strange,
"Wow Riz, i love it, u know wht, Muskaan has this effect, i love this decor", Rahul shouted excited,
"Yeah Rahul, i can see Muskaan's effect on u", Riddhima teased Rahul,
"All i meant was tht her company has effected my choices, u dirty mind"
"Ok ok, time out dude, now to the next cabin", Riddhima made a T with her hands, and they all moved out, but now it was Jennifer again who spoke when they entered Armaan's cabin,
"This is ur cabin Mr Mallik, hope u like it"
Armaan was in awe of the cabin, it was in the shades of white, from curtains to sofa, coshions to tables, everything white. The articles tht decorated the room were made of crystal, matching the interior. He felt a sudden calm entering his cabin, a purity n serenity taking over him, he was sure the others felt it too. This was the cabin which had been most worked hard on, n his thoughts were interrupted by Jennifer,
"Sir, for this room, the whole credit goes to Miss Gupta, i did not help her even in a single way"
Armaan saw Riddhima busy talking to Rahul, was this her way to avoid the innumerable questions formed in his mind. Why had Riddhima worked so hard for his cabin, n tht too without Jennifer's help. He was suddenly brought back to reality when he heard a noise.
The peon had brought water for them all, n his foot had tripped, resulting in the water falling on a showpiece which was working on power. The water caused sudden sparks of light n everyone immediately backed off. Jennifer called the electrician n they all came out of the cabin, after some time, when the electrician had checked n gone, Riddhima asked Jennifer,
"Jenny, wht was tht?"
"Uh mam, actually the water caused some defect in the live wire n it lead to the short circuit, the electrician says it'll take some time to repair it, n no electricity can be used in the cabin without risk", Jennifer replied,
"No, Mr Mallik is certainly not staying in tht cabin, arrange for something else, waise, how long shall it take?", Riddhima was spontaneous in her refusal to let Armaan stay there, n Armaan was glad of it.
"Mam, it shall take abt a week, and any other accomodation is as such not possible, even the store rooms have been used for various things, but, i've an idea, why not let Mr Mallik share ur cabin, i suggest ur one, coz its the biggest room in this whole building", Jennifer said,
"Well, since there's no other option available, we'll do it this way, ask the people to put a table for Mr Mallik in my cabin, we can remove the cupboards for a while, n make it quick", Riddhima spoke.
Just then the peon who had caused the whole fiasco came n asked for forgiveness from Riddhima,
"Madam ji, i am really sorry, Jennifer madam just told me tht i am not fired, u r great, thank u so much, i cant express my gratitude"
"Areh, u r embarassing me, plz dont be sorry. Now i cud've done the same mistake, n u didnt do it purposely, so, plz go without any guilt n gratitude"
"Ok guys, look, ur secretaries have been given cabins just next to urs, so tht u can call for their help n they r immediately there. Now i wud like u all to go to ur places, n report for the meetin scheduled at 11 am, i'll see u there", Riddhima addressed them, all the assistants went, (Sheena passed a wink in Armaan's direction before leaving), only Armaan, Atul, Rahul, Riddhima and Jennifer were left. Just then Atul asked,
"Ridzi, i want to see ur cabin, can i?"
"Of course Atul, come, i'll show u all", Riddhima replied,
Armaan was like ecstatic, wow, he gets to share Riddhima's cabin, the stars were surely on his side today, cool, he loved it. Now Miss Riddhima, where will u go?

They all entered the room,which was like huge. The room had interiors of dark blue n white, with touches of silver in it. Armaan felt Riddhima everywhere, the room wasfilled with her aura. There were show pieces of glass n crystal all over the room, n the one of the wall was filled with pictures, Armaan observed them. These were pictures of Riddhima with Rahul, Muskaan, Nikita, Shashank uncle, Karan Chachu, Chhoti Maa, Daadu, a certain Mr n Mrs Modi Armaan had met last night, Jennifer, their school friends, n many more people, and....... Modi, Abhimanyu Modi. What was his picture doing here, he wasnt supposed to be here,
"I'll soon show u the door Modi", Armaan muttered to himself.
"So Atul, how is it?", Riddhima asked,
"This is like amazing, i love it more than mine, Armaan, i'm envious of u, wanna exchange?", Atul smirked,
"Yeah, tht reminds me, Armaan, thats ur table there, plz have a seat"
Just then Jennifer entered, who had been left behind, n Riddhima went to hug her,
"Awwww Jen, long time no see, i missed u so much, thank God u're back"
"The feeling is mutual Ridzi, i missed u like hell, i mean, imagine, i'll be the only person who's missed her work n her boss instead of enjoying her cousin's marriage", Jennifer pouted,
"You're definitely unique", Riddhima spoke,
"Guys, i feel so ignored", it was Rahul,
"Awww, oh boy, i missed u too", Jennifer hugged Rahul,
"You know u missed my so special engagement, n Muskaan is certainly not happy abt it", Rahul said, n Jenny replied,
"I know, but this announcement of ur engagement took me by surprise, had i known earlier, i wud have come back soon"
"Dont worry, i'm not angry, just handle Muskaan, k", Rahul said,
"Of course, i'll manage her"
Atul and Armaan were confused with these friendly gestures, n Atul asked,
"Guys, are we missing something?"
"Oh sorry Atul, well u met Jennifer, my help, but this is Jenny, my friend, Rahul's too, she's our close friend", Riddhima replied,
"Ok, so Jenny, can i call u tht?", Atul questioned,
"Yes sir, as u wish", Jenny said,
"Ok, but only if u call me Atul"
"Right Atul"
"Ok Jenny, then its Armaan for u", Armaan said,
"Definitely, oh yes Armaan, i forgot to mention, Sheena needs to update u abt the project, so, shud i call her here", Jenny asked,
"Ummm, no, i guess i'll go there to her cabin, she'll have the files there, u people continue", with tht he walked away,
"Riz, we shud also get going, i also need to be updated for the meeting, come Rahul", Atul said,
"Uh haan, haan Atul, u move' i'll just come. (Atul left) Jenny, cud u plz excuse us,i need to talk to Riz", Jenny too left and then Riddhima said,
"So, tell me wht happened in the car?"
"How do u know....oh leave it, why do i even bother myself with this question. Anyways, things happened like this......"
"Rahul i'm so glad, finally, u're a step closer"
"But Riz..."
"Dont worry Rahul, everything will be fine now, and i'm really proud of u, u rock dude"
"So do u Riz"

Armaan came back from Sheena's cabin n went to visit Atul.
"Haan Armaan, ab bata ka batana hai?"
Armaan told hm everything, abt the car as well as loving Riddhima.
"Look Atul, we r best friends, and i know u feel something for Riddhima, but..."
"But Mr Know-it-all, i cudnt have been more glad, i mean i like Riddhima, but just like a sister, and u know wht, i too thought she is the only one for u, i am so excited for u both now, cool"
"Oh Atul, u've made my day, trust me, now listen, i need all the help u can give me"
"Anything for u Ammy, anyhting"

Armaan entered the conference room, n as he'd guessed, Riddhima was there, sitting n readng some files. He'd gone t her, ooops, 'their' cabin n his 1st guess was here. He saw his angelic beauty sitting so engrossed in the file, tht he wished he cud see her like this for the whole life. He knocked the door,
"Come in", this was her reply, she did not look up from her file.
"Ummm Riddhima, i need to talk to u abt something"
"Armaan! yeah speak, i'm listening", she did not look up still,
"Woh, uh, its..."
"Haan"
"Its abt, woh Sheena"
"What abt her", was the file so interesting tht she still did not look up,
"I feel uncomfortable around her, and i cant work with her"
"Hmmm (her head jerked up immediately), what? Explain"
"Its that i had gone to her cabin, for the project update, n there, she, she like, started getting all touchy, n u know, kind of seducing n..."
Riddhima cud see embarassment written all over his face, n this was like, shocking, not Sheena's behaviour, but Armaan's reaction to it. Armaan Mallik, this was the one man who'd made her first day at office so restless. First she cudnt take her eyes off him, then his reaction to his cabin, it was true tht she'd worked all alone on his cabin, according to wht she thought he wud like, she'd bought each n every thing herself, but she didnt want Armaan to know it. Trust Jenny to open her big mouth, but since Riddhima had been expecting something like this, so she took Rahul aside as soon as they entered the cabin. Though she was talking to Rahul abt random things, she was aware of Armaan's gaze on her. She was determined to stay away from him, but she cud not stop herself from reacting to his every action. Even now, she'd realised it was him on the door, but just to keep her calm, she kept looking in the file which she already knew by heart. And his sudden confession abt Sheena made her realize of her wrong decision, but he definitely looked cute with those expressions n embarassment,
"I'm so sorry Armaan, i was in a hurry when she came for the interview, and appointed her just looking at the degrees, moreover i didnt think u wud have any problems seeing the fact tht u handle ur girlfriends so easily, ooops, i didnt mean it, lets think i never said this ok, haan, i'm really sorry for wht you had to go through, i'll just see wht can be done, right now. (she called Jeenifer) Hello, haan Jenny, listen, i want u to put Miss Sheena Seth in any other branch of the office, away from here, yeah, just listen, no clearification reqd, tell her its my decision, and look for a replacement for Armaan, maybe the one i'd referred to u, haan, thats her, asap, before the meeting, do it fast"
Armaan was amazed, Riddhima seemed like, confused, no, actually, maybe, perhaps it was her guilt, yeah, he was amused to see her behave so differently. The nervousness before the meeting was taking over her, for sure. And tht comment abt handling my girlfriends, does she also think abt me like the way its written in the newspapers?
Riddhima was relieved after calling Jenny, but she dared not look up, she knew she wudnt be able to face Armaan. She felt extremely embarassed, she shud've bitten her tongue, n not muttered tht comment abt his girlfriends. His personal life was not her business, but Armaan's behaviour intrigued her, she'd imagined him going all crazy for Sheena, but the situation was just the opposite. He'd been uncomfortable with her, weird. Was this another of his ways to come closer to hurt her, she had to be careful.

Jennifer entered the conference room, followed closely by Sapna, Sapna Shah. Everyone had already settled there,
"Ladies n gentlemen, i wud like to announce a certain change, Miss Sheena Seth wont be assisting Mr Mallik any longer due to some causes, n now, Miss Sapna Shah, u will be assisting Mr Mallik"
"Which one, the hot one or the cute one?", Sapna asked as a matter of fact n only realised when the words were out of her mouth,
"The hot one, i guess", Jennifer chuckled and winked at her, Sapna blushed badly, while the others laughed, and Armaan, he was embarassed again.
The meeting started n went on for long, n blah blah blah, Riddhima was impressed, Armaan did know wht he had to say n when. Everyone left, Armaan was just at the door, when he heard an interesting conversation,
"Thanks Jenny, i hope Sapna will be able to handle the work"
"Dont worry Ridzi, u herself recommended her for this post, n she does have potential, moreover, she does have guts, first abt tht Mrs Singh, and now, she goes around calling her boss hot n cute. Such a cheeky girl, but i guess it was more of Armaan's effect"
"Yeah, Armaan tends to have ths effect on people. Anyways, i wanted to thank u, last night u called n reminded me to learn abt the staff, i wudnt have remembered it, it was just thanks to u, but now i'm badly wishing i cud go into my deep slumber"
"You dont have time for ur beauty sleep miss, go, its lunch time now, i dont know wht u'd do without me"
"Thats right, i often think wht i'd do without u, u know people tend to think i never make a mistake, but hardly do they know tht there is someone to cover up for me, right, but dont u think hidng ur mistakes is bad, i mean just accept ur flaws"
"Yes, hiding ur mistakes is bad, but u dont do tht, u just make up for ur mistakes, n i help u in tht, so, nothing is wrong in this. As for ur flaws, u dont have any, trust me"
"Yeah yeah, trust u in this, this lunch time is the best to recall my biggest flaws"
"Thats just ok, but now, lets go, others will be waiting for lunch, i'll go and call them all to ur cabin"
Armaan was amazed, 'i am just beginning to discover the real u, Riddhima Gupta, and i am already loving the effect i tend to have on u, interesting'.

Everyone entered the cabin, Riddhima was seated on the sofa which lay opposite to her table. Armaan, Atul, Rahul and Jennifer settled besides her, with Jennifer and Atul sitting next to her, and Rahul & Armaan on the other sofa. Riddhima opened the lunch box in front of her and started serving food to each of them with the help of Jennifer, she gave the first plate to Rahul, then Atul, then Armaan, then Jennifer and atlast herself. Atul spoke after eating a few morsels,
"Wow Riddhima, u are an awesome cook, this rajma-chawal is just yumm, n the gobhi ke parathe are like wow"
To this, Riddhima spluttered the water she had been drinking, Jennifer tried to pat her back while Rahul just laughed.
"Dude, the word cook and Riz dont go in the same line, never. You've no idea wht a great cook Riddhima is. In the past, cooking + Riz = disaster. The poor kitchen had to bear all tht. You shud've seen the one time she tried to make aloo ke parathe, there was aloo all over except in the parathe, which were like the map of Atlantic ocean, only blacker in colour and once when..."
Rahul caught Riddhima's eye n considered it better to shut his mouth. Riddhima defended herself,
"What? I hate cooking and thats the end of the chapter, get it? Look Atul, never talk to me about cooking, ok, i seriously hate it, but yeah, i love people who cook for me, like, this lunch has been prepared by dearest Jenny, and i love her for that"
"And i too love u for bearing with my cooking everyday", Jennifer added modestly,
"No Jenny, the food is really very good, so dont underestimate yourself", Armaan commented, surprising himself and the others,
"See Jenny, even Armaan agrees, i've always asked u to teach Muskaan some of ur good cooking, coz when she cooks, there's either excess of salt or lack of it. Why dont u brush some of ur good cooking quality to her", Rahul joked,
"Rahul, and i've always told u Muskaan is a decent cook, u just like teasing her around. Moreover, she's the best at her work, and thts dancing. You know she's the youngest choreographer in town to reach such heights, so u better dont insult her", Jennifer said,
"Yeah yeah yeah, i know she's such a great dancer and all, but i still dont get it, why did she complete her business management when all she wanted was a dance school pf her own", Rahul spoke,
"Thats becoz it was her parents' dream tht she completes her MBA, but it was her dream to own a dance school. Her parents knew abt this, and only asked her to get a degree, they did not pressurise her to apply in the business world. And when Ridzi had this great offer to be partners with her for the dance school, she happily agreed to it. Result being, now she owns the most prestigious dance school in Mumbai", Jennifer said,
"Along with Riddhima?", Atul questioned,
"Yeah, Riddhima has partnership in the school, though she gave Muskaan the option to buy the remaining shares form her, but Muskaan refused. She wanted Riddhima to be her partner becoz it was Riddhima's self earned money with which they had started", Jennifer finished,
Atul and Armaan were like wow, they were unaware of this fact uptil yet.
"Ok people time out, if ur praises abt me are over then let me remind u we are done with the lunch, plz disperse to ur respective rooms", Riddhima finally came in, just when everyone had left, exceot Armaan and Jennifer, her cell phone buzzed.
"Excuse-me, i'll just be back", saying this, Riddhima went out of the room.
"Abhi, when r u coming here, its already late"
"Riddhu, i dont think i'll be able to make it today, actually the meeting abt the match has been extended, there are some really important issues we need to discuss, and i've no idea how much time it'll take. So, i'll see u at dinner tonight, Nikki's also joining us, bye, stay safe and keep away from Mallik"
"Bye, u too take care", Riddhima thought it wud be better if Abhi didnt know abt todays events now, she cud always tell him at dinner.

Meanwhile when Riddhima had gone to take the call, Armaan thought of talking to Jennifer,
"So Jenny, how do u know Riddhima so well?"
"Actually, my dad used to work for Mr Shashank, and when he passed away, Mr Gupta took me under him. He sent me to boarding for studies, i was just 12 then, whenever i came home during vacations, i used to hang around with Riddhima and Nikita. They treated me like one of them. When i finished my college, Shashank uncle hired me as a trainee, then i assisted Nikki in her work as Riddhima's manager. When Ridzi joined office, i was appointed as her assistant, and the rest u know. I still hang around with Ridzi, and there i became friends with Rahul and Muskaan too"
"Wow, amazing, so such a beautiful lady, are u single or ..."
"Dont even try to flirt Armaan, before my boyfriend, Riddhima shall finish u"
"Riddhima, whats she got to do here?"
"Its like, Riddhima has the biggest hand in uniting me and Arjun. I met Arjun in college and we fell in love. But his family opposed our relation, coz i'm a christian u see. And one of my close friends in college, Kritika, she too loved Arjun, and his family also approved her. So i was ready to give up my love. But Riddhima did not think that way, she made it clear to me that Kritika and Arjun cud not live happily ever, coz it was me he lived, and i too realised it wud be true. So she made Kritika understand, and when Arjun's family disowned him for this, she asked Shashank uncle to help Arjun. Shashank uncle tested him, and he started his on a small scale in the office. Now he is the CEO of one of their companies, all due to his hardwork, and i am a happily engaged woman", Jennifer said proudly as she showed him her engagement ring.
"Thats cool, but what abt his family?"
"Well, they have accepted me, and everything's fine, but Arjun still doesnt live with them. He didnt want to go back once he'd started living in his own house. Though he visits them whenever he has free time, on every festival, buys gifts, n helps in running the house, but he didnt go back. Actually he wants to shift them from his old house to the new one, and its his surprise gift to his parents for their anniversary which is just 2 weeks away"
"Hmm, very nice..."
"Oh sorry guys, i just wandered off on my way here", Riddhima said as she entered the room,
"Its ok Ridzi, so, now whats the plan", Jennifer asked,
"The plan is that since we dont have much work for today, u can send the staff back home early, n dont forget to mention tht its just for today. Ask Atul, Rahul n Armaan to go whatever time suits them, and their secretaries can leave with them too. You shud also retire early for the day, u've just come back. As for me, i need to go through some files, so i'm staying late. Ask the peon to stay as i'm in no mood to go right now", Riddhima said,
"Ok, but remember, no tennis practice for u today, Shubhu sir shall be back today night, so he's cancelled today's practice. You go straight home from here, have ur dinner and sleep. There are early morning practices tomorrow, and u need to catch ur sleep"
"Yes mam, i remember, all the more, thanks for the revision, now go and let me study my files in peace", with tht, Jennifer went first to her cabin, a room which was situated inside Riddhima's cabin itself. She came out carrying her things and said her byes to Riddhima and to him and walked out.
Armaan was feeling quite bored, he had refused to go when Riddhima had asked him to on the pretext of some pending work. This information had made her arch her brows, probably she knew tht there was no pending work at all on the first day of the office, so she asked him to recheck the files she'd already checked for any mistakes. He sat comfortably opposite to her on her table, giving quick glances ocassionally. After some time, he looked at her to find her asleep. He'd been so engrossed in a particular file tht he did not realise she'd slept. He was mesmerized to see her sleeping so peacefully, and he did not miss this oppurtunity to observe her from this close. She'd crossed n kept her hands on the table and her head lay on them. The few tresses she'd left out from her ponytail, now covered her face and a frown appeared on it. Armaan removed them from her face with utmost care of not waking her from her sleep. As soon as the hair shifted, a cute smile appeared on her face. Armaan took out his cell phone to capture this beautiful moment.
He didnt realise how much time had passed as he sat their admiring her, and his trance was broken as her cell phone's ring made the breaking noise. She woke up with a start and Armaan immediately busied himself in the file tht lay near him. She looked around n reached for her phone.
"Hello.. haan Nikki.. haan i'm at the office.. no.. no over working.. i just slept.. yeah.. ok.. dont worry.. hmm.. i'll be there in a few minutes.. haan haan Jack n Mack are still there.. yeah ok fine.. see you.. bye.. take care"
"Oh Armaan, u're still here, i'm so sorry, u shud've left", Riddhima saw him reading the file,
"I wanted to but i thought since u were here, i'd leave with u,maybe if u needed some help then..."
"Oh no no, its just tht i needed some sleep, anyways, lets go"
They moved to the parking, after Riddhima asked the peon to lock the office, it was a good idea tht the peon lived in a small house in the office building itself. Armaan moved to the parking and tried to find his car. He saw Jack n Mack settling in their car, while Riddhima moved to here.
"Holy cow, how cud i forget, i didnt bring my car, and i'm sure Atul must've taken the one Chhoti Maa had sent, now wht do i do?"
"Is there some problem Armaan?", he heard Riddhima ask.
"No, i mean yeah, actually i didnt bring my car and Atul's taken the other one"
"Oh, ok dont worry, i'll drop u home"
"But Nikki will be waiting for u"
"Never mind, they have a habit of waiting"
"They?"
"Hmmmm, they as in Nikki n ...(Riddhima called someone) haan Jack, listen, we'll first go n drop Mr Mallik to his house n then to my appartment, ok? So Armaan, hop in for the drive of ur lifetime, n dont forget the seat belt plz"
Riddhima started the engine and Armaan felt as if he was competing with the wind. God! This girl drove like lightning. He'd heard women drove rashly, but she was again an exception. As much fast she drove, so much smoothly the car went. She did not even turn on the music, n within no time, they were out of his house, he didnt want the ride to finish so soon.
"Night Armaan, see u tomorrow"
Before he cud turn to wish her good night, she was gone. Wow, he just fell in love with her, again.

Riddhima raced her car to her home, she cud still feel Armaan's presence in the car. She'd regretted her decision of dropping him as soon as the words were out of her mouth. It had been enuf earlier, when Armaan had deliberately stayed with her on pretext of some work. She'd known he stayed for her, but the question was why? Why was Armaan behaving like he was with her, she was confused. In the car, it was hard to ignore the fact tht he was sitting so close to her. His hair were ruffled, his tie was loose, n his face showed how tired he was. She wished she cud move forward and touch him, tell him not to worry, she's always there for him. But she controlled her emotions, she concentrated on driving faster than usual, to keep her mind away from Armaan. As soon as he was out of the car, she wished him good night n sped off, not waiting for him to answer. She didnt want Armaan to be aware of her feelings. Armaan Mallik, the man who not only made her first day at office restless, but who's been evading her dreams since the time she'd realised she loved him. As much as she tried to avoid him, the more deeper he entered her life. She felt so frustrated and helpless tht she shouted in space,
"Armaan Mallik, i dont have such a strong heart which can go through another tragedy, plz leave me alone, plz leave me Armaan, go away from me, coz my heart doesnt allow me to go away from u, i just cant, i love u Armaan, i love u"

Riddhima reached home, Abhi n Nikki were already there, she went to freshen up and joined both of them.
"So Ridz, how was the day at the office?", Nikki asked,
"Umm, it was good, i already fired a guy for being late due to late night parties n oversleeping", Riddhima answered,
"Ridz, wow, but i know u're still a better boss than me, ur staff just worships u", Nikki said,
"After some time, they wont", Riddhima said,
"Stop being modest, anyways, how did the other slike their cabins?", Nikki diverted the topic,
"Well, all of them loved it", Riddhima said,
"Its obvio yaar, u'd worked really hard, and u're my sister, they had to love it", Nikki chuckled,
"Uh Riddhu, actually i wanted to tell u tht i have to go, a very important match has come up, so i wont join u any sooner", Abhi finally managed,
"How long?", Riddhima asked sadly,
"No idea, they havent fixed the date of the match, but i promise i'll try coming back as early as i can. Until then, u'll have to take care of urself, and plz stay away from Mallik, i dont trust him at all", Abhi said,
"Dont worry Abhi, i'm a strong girl, u just go n win the match. But if u're going, u wont attend the party tomorrow", Riddhima sighed,
"What party?", Nikki questioned,
"Anjie is throwing a party for Rahul n Muskaan's engagement, playing the role of the good elder sister. She wanted to make it special for them, n asked me to tell u too. She cudnt reach u, ur cell was out of reach", Riddhima said,
"Oh dont worry, i'll talk to Anjie abt it, hopefully she'll spare me", Abhi joked,
"Ok, now lets go to sleep, tomorrow is going to be a big day", Riddhima said, n they all went to their respective rooms.
