Sujal kisses Roshni's forehead and leaves, Roshni looks slightly confused, she continues watching the video.
Part 39
Sujal is sitting alone in his room, Kashish comes in and sees him sitting alone without the light on, she turns the light on and sits beside him, startling him
S - Kashish, its you
Ka - why are you sitting in the dark alone?
S - just thinking
Ka - about what?
S - Roshni
Ka - what about her?
S - she's my daughter, I love her, and I want the best for her
Ka - of course, any parent wants the best for their children
S - but what if their child's happiness lies in someone who isn't good for them?
Ka - then you need to decide what is more important, your daughter's happiness or what's best for her
Sujal nods his head
Ka - then you need to see if your decision is the right one and the consequences of your decision, if you decide to stop KK from seeing Roshni then you'll be upsetting KK and Roshni, KK's family and ours, because neither families are going to be happy seeing their children upset, but if you decide to allow Roshni and KK to be together then KK and Roshni will be happy but there is of course the small risk of what KK may do if he gets angry
Kashish reaches out and touches his arm, she leans and rests her head on his shoulder
Ka - but you need to decide whether the risk outweighs Roshni's happiness
Sujal is in deep thought, Kashish kisses his cheek then leaves him alone, Sujal thinks about everything for a few minutes before closing his eyes and falling asleep. He wakes after a few hours, and heads laughing downstairs, he gets up and wanders downstairs to find Aryan, Roshni and Kashish laughing over something, he stands by the door staring at the smile on Roshni's face, he turns and leaves the house without saying a word, back at the Khanna mansion, Kk and Karan are doing what they do best, playing on the PS3, but unsually KK is losing
Kar - you've lost your touch!
KK - oh just wait, I'll win the next game
Kar - whatever you need to tell yourself bruv!
They hear the doorbell, Karan gets up and asnwers the door and is shocked to see Sujal, he invites him in
Kar - Sujal chachu, can I get you something?
S - I'm fine thanks Karan, is KK here?
Kar -sure, I'll just go get him
Karan leaves while Sujal sits in the living room, a few minutes later KK comes, he sits opposite Sujal
KK - can I get you a drink?
S - no, I'm ok, I wanted to talk to you
KK - go on
S - you love Roshni?
KK - more than my life
S - you would never think of hurting her?
KK - I would die before hurting her
S - you'd keep her happy?
KK - she'll be the happiest girl alive
Sujal nods his head, he stands, KK stands and faces him
S - I am placing my trust in you KK, if I ever see a tear in my duahgter's eyes....
KK - I won't give you the opportunity
S - don't make me regret my decision KK
KK - I won't
Sujal smiles and holds his arms out
S - well, aren't you going to give your father-in-law to be a hug?
KK smiles and hugs Sujal then takes his blessings, they turn and see Angad, Kripa and Karan standing there smiling, Angad walks over to Sujal
A - thanks
S - no, you were right, I kept thinking about that night rather than KK and Roshni's happiness
A - still..
Angad hugs Sujal, he looks at KK
S - looks like we have an engagement to plan
KK smiles then looks at Karan
KK - two engagements....and three weddings
Kar - yeah, me and Kk wnat to get engaged on the same day
S - ok, well how about Angad and I go over to Prithvi's and discuss everything
A - I'll go get my jacket
KK - chachu...
S - yes?
KK - is it ok if I...
S - see Roshni?
KK - yeah
S - sure, she's going to be your wife isn't she
KK - thanks
KK hugs Sujal then runs out of the house, he gets into the car and drives to the Garewal Mansion, he gets out of the car and rings the door bell, Kashish answers the door, he sees her, hugs and kisses her cheek
Ka - and what was that for?
KK - well I figured I should get on good terms with my mother-in-law now rather than later
Ka - mother-in-law? do you mean....
KK - dad and chachu are on their way to Prithvi chachu's house to discuss my engagement with Roshni and Karan's engagement with Tia, and then all three weddings
Ka - KK that's....I'm so happy
Kahsish hugs him
KK - is Roshni here?
Ka - she's upstairs
KK walks past her and bumps into Aryan, he hugs him then goes upstairs leaving Aryan confused, but Kashish tells him the good news, Aryan gets happy
Ar - let me go congratulate him
Ka - not yet
Ar - why?
Ka - let the two have some privacy
Ar - oh, of course
Upstairs KK knocks on Roshni's door, Roshni answers from inside
R - who is it?
KK - your husband to be
Roshni looks confused, she opens the door and sees KK
R - KK...
KK - hi
KK walks into the room and sits on her bed, she closes the door and turns to face him
R - what do you mean "husband to be"?
KK - well if we're getting married then I'll be your husband right?
R - yes...but...married? dad....
KK - has agreed
R - what?
KK puts his arm around her shoulder and pulls her closer
KK - your dad came to my house and has agreed for us to get married
Roshni looks at him in disbelief
KK - he's on his way to Tia's house to discuss our engagment and Karan and Tia's....Roshni, don't you beleive me?
Roshni slowly shakes her head
KK - ok, ask your dad
KK dials Sujal's number then hands the phone to Roshni
R - dad
S - yeah?
R - what is KK saying?
S - what?
R - that you....where are you?
S - at Prithvi's house
R - so s it true? you agreed?
S - yes Roshni, its true, I should have agreed ages ago
Roshni's face lights up
R - dad.....thank you
S - don't thank me, I'm your dad
R - I love you so much
S - I love you too
Roshni hangs up, she looks at KK with tears in her eyes, KK shakes his head and wipes her tears away
KK - no more tears
Roshni doesn't wait a second and hugs KK, he hugs her back and kisses her forehead
R - we're finally together
KK - yeah
R - I'm so happy
KK - me too
R - I love you so much KK, I don't want to lose you again
KK - I love you too Roshni
KK hugs her tightly, they both sit on her bed with KK's arm around Roshni's shoulder
KK - we're getting engaged on the same day as Karan and Tia, then all six of us will be getting married on the same day
R - where will we be having the weddings? I mean aren't the guy's side supposed to go to the girl's house?
KK - yeah, my best guess is it will be at Prithvi chachu's house, you'll probably be there and us 3 guys will come there, or we could have it in a hall, dad will sort it out
Roshni suddenly stands up
R - I have to go see Ria and Tia, we have so much to discuss, KK I'll see you later
She kisses his cheek and runs out
KK - Roshni...wait...
KK sighs and gets up, he meets Aryan downstairs who hugs him
Ar - congrats bro
KK - same to you
Ar - you know what this means?
KK - what?
Ar - bachelor party! and not just one....three!!!
KK - dude...you're awesome!
Ar - come, lets go to yours and discuss with Karan what we should do for the party
Aryan and KK leave, at the Bose mansion the girls are in discussions about the weddings and at the Khanna mansion the boys are dicussing their bachelor parties, the grown ups are all at the Bose mansion as well discussing the engagements and the weddings
A - so we'll have the engagement next weekend and the weddings two weeks after that?
P - that sounds great
Su - there's so much to do
K - don't worry Suhana, we'll handle everything together
Everyone is happy, Prithvi hugs Angad and Sujal while Suhana hugs Kripa and Kashish
