After leap will it be 2026 or now 1986?

OK guys...after the leap, if it ever happens . Will the year in the serial be 2026 or is it right now supposed to be 1986. If it is supposed to be 1986 then all the technology, cars etc were not around in 86..how will that be explained. If it is supposed to be 2026 than is she going to change the world as to represent what it would look like in 20 years. A lot changes in 20 years.

I mean look at all the stuff that was not around 20 years ago, the internet, emails, wide use of cell phones, DVDs, CDs, computers were not that common

NICE THINKING..... A Few months back someone had put an article that the NeW Set that Kyunki... will be having is going to be a MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY one. So lets hope that they've evn shown advancement in Technology!!!!!!!!! Every1 then might have an O2 and the Viranis will all be Riding Hummers for all you know!!!😉 😉 😉
