A poem just for sajan!!!

Sometime ago we were together,

I moved on and let you go,

All that happened suddenly, I didn't think…didn't even bother

What were you for me…………………….

But today when I am back…….. I can see………

I strove for things that were useless and vain,

Thus deep inside I am filled with pain,

With this pain what I remembered was just your name…

Coz I knew you were still the same,

And I was right………….when the world pushed me

You held me tight…………………………

When the world enclosed me……….you were the light.

You give me self confidence and I wear it with pride,

You protect me with shelter…a place to hide.

Whereever I go you are always so near,

Protecting me at all costs without any fear.

A long time ago I let you in....................

and you became a part of me like a layer of skin.

You were always there for me,

And still its you with my heart's key…

Every thought of you brightens up my day,

Your precense is all for what I pray…

You are the one to whom, I can never lie

Please be here , I plead…

never go away, else…………I shall die.
