zee tv's sensitive offering

zee tv's latest venture, urges people to see the world through the eyes of a child in "aap ki antara". a world where there is no discrimination, no deception, no corruption and no violence. it's a world inhabited by innocence and excitement. the show produced by drishtant media and went on air on june 01, 2009.

speaking on the launch, mr. nitin vaidya, coo of zeel and business head of zee tv said, "when we are born, we are like clean slates. we have no fear of the unknown, don't have the capacity to hate, and we trust those around us to care and nurture us. in our latest offering we wanted to give the audience the sheer delight of watching a cute little girl and take a peek into her inimitable world which is totally different from our world. her perspectives and perceptions will compel a viewer to re - think their point of view towards life."

the story of "aap ki antara" unfolds through the lives of a five year old child, antara (zaina vastani), her step – mother, vidhya (prabhleen sandhu) and her father, shekhar (darshan pandya). antara's world is defined by abstract things and abstract imaginations. antara can stare endlessly at the little pups in the compound or the birds chirping outside the window. antara is untouched by all influences and manipulations. what makes her world so beautiful and heaven like.
