Some More Candy for Vivek
Financier turned distributor Raju Shah is all set to launch his production house. He has reportedly roped in the slick flick director of Chocolate; Vivek Agnihotri to direct his maiden venture. The cast will include Bobby Deol, Vivek Oberoi and Nana Patekar.
Ajay Devgan to play Othello
As a part of a tie up between Shemaroo and Kumar Mangat, Vishal Bharadwaj will be directing a movie based on Shakespeare's Othello. In the yet untitled venture, Ajay Devgan will play the lead character of Othello; the rest of the cast will include Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi and Konkana Sharma.
Far From The MMS Crowd
Indeed, that's what first came to our mind when we heard of this promotional tactic. Now we wish other producers and directors also took some heed from this one. Last weekend, 'Tiger Team' kids from the much awaited fantasy film VAAH! LIFE HO TO AISI, participated in a thematic promotion for the film at Esselworld. Also seen at the event was Amrita Rao having a gala good time with the young ones! Now who said only controversies grab all the eye balls huh?

Burning Rubber on Another Track
Seems like ever since Bollywood has got its 'industry' status, every week a new corporate company is seen getting into the business, with the latest entrant being Apollo Tyres. But unlike others who've chosen the more glamorous avenues, Apollo Tyres have chosen a very untouched part of the film trade i.e. Digital Interface. The company is all set to invest a whopping 3000 crore in converting cinema halls to high-tech DLP outlets and mainly in B and C centres.
RELIANCE : Singing Their Own Song
The Latest news from this corporate bigwig is that they are all set to launch their own integrated 24-hr FM Radio Channel. And as if that wasn't enough, they are also playing it smart on the business front, where they have pulled big names from a big multiplex chain company to look after their theatre plans. Now that they have forayed even into entertainment, just wondering what are they falling short of in the Reliance kitty now?
The name's Darshan. Dharmesh Darshan. And he's back!
After Dhadkan and Mela, Dharmesh Darshan is back yet again. For the first time ever, he is all set to direct Akshaye Khanna, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta. With the rest of the star cast yet to be finalised, one can be assured of another romantic caper coming from this director.

Hollywood Calling
This is Percept Picture Company's attempt at taking Indian cinema to a global platform. The company has entered into a long-term business association with Ram Gopal Varma who will be working on two International projects for them titled Within and Ek. With an all foreign star cast, Within is Percept's second International venture after Tree of Life. Ek, the Hindi venture will star Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and some of Bollywood's biggest names. This venture will reportedly cost $20 million which makes it one of Bollywood's costliest films in the making.
