Ashley Rebello designs for London Dreams
London Dreams is the story of two childhood friends, played by Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan, who aspire to become rock stars in London. Asin also plays a singer and the three are good friends. But things take a dramatic turn when both the guys fall in love with the lovely lass. The film is directed by Vipul Shah.

Ashley Rebello has given the characters of Asin, Salman, VJs Aditya and Rannvijay very trendy, contemporary, hip and cool looks. Salman's look has been styled and designed by Ashley and Salman's sister Alvira. He tells us about all the trendsetting clothes that you will see in the film. The outfits were sourced from London, Milan and Paris and Ashley Rebello and Alvira Khan designed a few pieces too. He believes once audiences watch the movie, the girls will adapt Asin's layered gothic look and the guys will pair kurtas with jeans ala Salman Khan.
Salman has a very simple, hip, cool and Indian look in the film. Salman's pathani kurtas have been designed by his sister Alvira and me. We have paired them with jeans. The colours are all bright like red, green, yellow and blue. There aren't too many accessories except for scarves which are checked, striped and plain. He wears chappals and sandals for footwear. In the rock star avatar, we have dressed him in jeans, tees and bandanas with waistcoats. It is nothing designer; all very casual and trendy in muted colours.
Asin plays a gothic girl with a dual personality. Her colours are mainly black and grey and she wears a red dress only once. Her look is very hip and gothic with tight-fitting tees, mini skirts, waist coats, ganjees, fitted truck pants, tight jeans, high heeled boots, tights and tunics in jersey (cotton lycra) material. It is a put together or layered look. For footwear, I used gladiator sandals and boots. I used brands like Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, D&G, Chanel, Fendi and old London designers for Asin's clothes and shoes.
Rosaries, beads and bangles in black and silver form her accessories.
VJs Rannvijay and Aditya, both have the same look in the film. They dress like very trendy college students so the look is young, hip and cool. They have worn leather jackets, tees with funky prints and torn jeans, cargos, khakis and combat pants. The colours I have used are ink blue, baby pink, yellow, green, maroon, purple and military prints. For accessories I used chains, beads and leather bands. They have worn sports shoes mostly. I used brands like Top Man, Skechers and Selfridges for these guys.
