Written Update 24 April 09

Arjun has just announced that he has sold his factory and taken up a job. Everyone is stunned… arjun then goes up to mehra and handing him a check of 40 lakhs and he says thank you for all you have done… mehra feels guilty and tries to say that he did not want the money back… but arjun pleasantly says… he knows that.. but he wants to build his success on his own steam… indu looks at him with concern… he then says he needs to get ready for the mehandi and exits towards his room… worried indu follows. As soon as they are in their room, indu shows her concern, tells him she is sorry and did not mean to go behind his back… she thinks he is very angry with him, but to her surprise, he tells her that he understands that what she did was only out of love and concern for him, So he can't be angry at her. She then asks why he was inaccessible all day… she was so worried about him… he explains that he just needed to gather his thoughts, sort things out, and is sorry he put her through so much worry. Here the mehandi celebration is on full swing… everyone teasing reema about writing amit's name on her hand… everyone is wondering what's keeping arjun and indu. In the room… indu then asks arjun… what job is he taking… he then tells her it's the same Mr. bakshi whom he told her about… he not only bought out the factory but has also given him a very good post… he will be working side by side with the ceo of the company. Downstairs while mehandi is going on at one side, vishkha and rukmani have taken aside their husbands who were so far enjoying. They berate them for enjoying while they should be actually tense about what's happened, don't they realize the impact of arjun selling his business …that he will easily escape from spending all the money for the wedding… just then babuji's voice overlaps…he is upset with them for always thinking about money, as he is about to defend arjun, arjun reaches there and stops him… saying that his bhabhi's concern is genuine. But they needn't worry, he then hands over a five lakh cheque... saying he made some profit selling his factory and would be contributing that.. babuji tries to tell him to hold on to it… but he says he doesn't need to as he has a well paying job now… the bhabhi's look at him sheepishly… he then abruptly changes the mood saying… they should all enjoy the ceremonies of the shaadi… after all they'll be over before they know it.As they come back to the celebrations… indu sits to put mehandi on her hands… when she suddenly notices that neelima hasn't called or come at all… she then calls her up… akash hears this and listens to her conversation with concern Neelima sounds down and out and gives the excuse of not being well… indu gets very concerned and wants to send a car for her to come and rest here… and not be alone… akash panics at this but to his relief neelima refuses…indu has no choice but to end the conversation and go back to putting mehandi. As the mehandi ceremony gets over… everyone is about to retire for the day… except the men who are planning to sit for a Chating session… indu then takes arjun to one side and shares her concern for neelima's health with arjun and decides to go get her here, arjun offers to go along but she assures him that she'll be back soon and he should continue with his brothers.Arjun goes to join his brothers… when Aaksh ask where indu went so late in the evening… he casually says, to see a friend who's unwell. Akash immediately panics… he excuses himself and goes out… worried that neelima might come there… he frantically calls her up… but she doesn't pick up. When indu knocks on the door… neelima is stunned to see her… seeing neelima's swollen eyes… indu immediately realizes she has been crying… demands to know who has put her in this state… just then she sees her phone ringing… before neelima can stop her… she sees the name akash flashes… neelima is horrified… indu has no idea… why neelima is reacting this way… and who is akash… neelima then looks guilty as hell.. and indu figures out it's the name of her husband… still she doesn't put two and two togther… and deciding to give the husband a piece of her mind she picks up the phone…before she can say hello… akash says hello.. and warns her about indu who is coming there…not realizing he is talking to indu herself… indu is shocked …
