Sorry I havent been able to post the update for the fourth episode yet bu t recap: Brij asks Jyoti to run away with him but she says no. Brij tells her to tell her family about him but she says she cant until Deepu is done studying. Sudha goes for a job interview but the girl (deviika) that she saw dancing on the roof is also there and tells her that she wont be able to do a marketing job, the interviewers say that she lacks confidence. Jyoti sees that there is a lack of money at the orphanage. Deepu asks Jyoti for money for an extra class but uses it to gamble instead and loses as usual. Sudha sees him.
Today's episode:
Deepu sees her standing there and his friends leave. He asks her what she is looking at raising his voice. She stutters as she asks him what he was doing and he replies saying she cant even talk properly so why is she asking questions. He says he saw his friends on his way back from coaching and decided to have tea with them and that meeting his friends is not a crime. She asks about the cards and he says they were playing. He says he had the cards because he was playing for a friend. He tells her not to say anything at home because they will get worried and that she is useless and always sees one thing and says another. He calls her Dheeli and tells her to go home.
She walks home trying to cry as she remembers his words along with Devika's and the interviewers words. When she gets home Jyoti opens the door saying surprise but when she sees her tears she asks what happened but Sudha says nothing happened and that something went in her eye. Jyoti then tells her to smile and that usually Sudha opens the door for her so she thought she would open the door. Sudha asks why she is home early and Jyoti says just because. She then asks Sudha if she was late because she was at the library and Sudha agrees. Jyoti asks her why she is so sad and if something is wrong. She says she knows Sudha likes to study but she wants her to take care of herself. Then she tells Sudha that she bought a new dress which makes Sudha smiles and asks to see it. Jyoti shows her a new dupatta and Sudha says it looks the same but Jyoti tries to convince her that it isn't the same as the others and that she'll mix and match. She says that she doesnt need a new dress and tells Sudha not to mention a new dress for the next couple of months. She tells Sudha about Deepu's new coaching and about hoe hard he is working by going to three of them. Sudha looks shocked to hear this and Jyoti says she'll have to figure out new installements and doesn't know if she will be able to get them. Jyoti says when he becomes an engineer her dreams will come true. She sees Sudha's worried face and asks what's wrong. When Sudha tries to tell her and says Deepu Jyoti interrupts her saying that she knows that Sudha will tell her not to worry so much about Deepu and them and to worry about herself. Jyoti then says she is the most selfish because seeing them studying makes her happy. She tells Jyoti to smile because she is very luck that god has given her such a nice smile. She says she will go to make dinner and as she leaves tell Sudhi to open windows. Sudha says ok and after Jyoti leaves she shuts the door and cries.
Jyoti gives dal to her dad and Deepu walks in. Jyoti asks why he is late and he says it was because he was at his new coaching class and had to talk about installements as well. He says he also had a difficult problem to solve and couldn't leave until he was finished. Jyoti says that's good and tells him to pull out his mat to eat. He turns to see Sudha staring at him. Jyoti comes back and asks him to pull his mat out again and he does so. Their dad and Jyoti see Sudha and call her to eat but she says no and when her mother asks why since she hadnt had lunch either she says its because she doesnt feel like it. So Padma says ok and calls her to come help her and serve dal and tells Jyoti to eat. Jyoti asks Deepu how he likes the new coaching and he says it is very helpful. She asks if he can manage three coachings and he says yes and that it is only an hour a day but it will take time coming and going. She asks where and he says Ghantaghar. Jyoti says that's great since that is where Sudha's library is as well and they can come back together. Sudha is serving them dal and looks worried. Deepu gets a sly look on his face and says if that is where is library is then why did he see her coming from the opposite direction from Hatipaur and everyone looks shocked. He asks her if he's right and calls her Sudhi. Jyoti looks at her and says Sudhi and Sudha drops the dal. She falls back and their dad hold her arm to steady her. Padma shouts at her saying she cant do one thing right. Sudha runs away crying and Jyoti tries to go after her but Padma stops her saying not to leave her food. Deepu lets his mom not to scold Sudha because she is Dheeli and Jyoti shouts his name stopping him.
Sudha runs through the courtyard crying and to the roof. She sees devika on the neighbouring roof talking on her cellphone saying that the interview went well. They see each other and Sudha turns to leave but devika calls out to her. She hangs up and asks Sudha how her interview was. When Sudha doesnt respond she says it's ok and that she understand. She advises Sudha to be more open and smile since the interview was stupid and the questions were dumb. She says that they asked her why she didnt read books and she said that she asked them if they wanted her to do marketing or open a library. Sudha laughs a little hearing this and asks her if she got the job. deviika says you may see me from a far but you dont know me and then she says that no one has ever said no to her. She also says that only people who listen to no's are told no. Sudha feels bad hearing this and Bedika says she is not one of those people and says it was nice to meet her. She leaves and Sudha stands there hearing her voice along with the interviewers telling her to be more confident.
She runs to her room but keeps hearing voice and clutches at her throat and throws off her dupatta as she paces the room and covers her ears. She finally falls onto the bed crying. The wind blows and she looks up with a weird look in her eyes. She gets up and walks to the mirror smiling. (I swear this scene is so creepy!! You have to watch it!!!) She stares at herself smiling and says she doesnt need luck because only weak people need luck in a clear voice. The screen flashes and she says no one chooses her because she chooses what she has to do and what she doesn't. She remembers the interviewerasking her about sports and she laughs saying "sports? Do you want me to market or play kabadi" The screen flashes again and Jyoti knocks on the door calling her but she talk to the mirror saying that everyone say devika but no one knows her. Jyoti calls her to open the door but she doesnt and stares at the mirror saying no one says no to devika because she doesnt like hearing no. The screen flashes again and Jyoti calls her name and knock again worried and asks her who she is talking to but Sudha is just laughing crazily in the room and spinning with her arms wide. Jyoti keeps knocking while she continues to laugh and spin.
