No, it's not her much-awaited film, Happy New Year, but an ad film for soft drinks, which will star the 7Up mascot, Fido Dido.
Kerala
Confirms Farah, who's just reached home from husband Shirish Kunder's Janeman shoot (produced by Sajid Nadiadwala) in Film City, where she's been choreographing a song on Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher, "I am rushing off to Kerala to shoot for a 7Up ad. I am directing the ad with Fido Dido and model Shivangi Tomar."
So there are no big stars she is directing this time? "No stars this time, but Fido Dido is as big a star!" laughs the director. Has she directed ads before? "Yes, prior to this I directed the Pepsi ad, with Priyanka and Kareena," discloses Farah.
Mad rush
Farah's been leading an extremely hectic life — which is why she couldn't attend Fardeen's reception, on December 16. "I am shooting for Indian Idol in the morning and Shirish's film in the evening. After which, on Sunday, I will fly to Kerala for the ad shoot."
"I am exhausted and haven't had the time to check out what we will do on the shoot. I guess I will see the drawings on the plane."
Farah doesn't know what the ad will have, except "some exotic features and lots of elephants". But will they be shooting in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala? "No, we will be shooting in the hot sun around Trichy and Trivandrum," she says.
Script gift
Happy New Year is said to star Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and Zayed Khan, and will take off next year.
Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Productions will produce the film; Farah is said to have gifted the script of Happy New Year to Shah Rukh, as a present for his 40th birthday.
Farah has also choreographed the Chinese musical film, Perhaps Love, directed by Peter Chan. The film is the most expensive musical to be made in China or Hong Kong, and is an epic love story spanning almost 30 years.
