New Delhi, December 10: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was arrested after a teenaged boy was hit and injured by a sports utility vehicle driven by him last evening in the suburban Andheri, police said today.
The actor, who was later released on bail of Rs 5,000 at the DN Nagar police station, had rushed the 13-year-old boy, Shakil Sheikh, to a private hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and discharged this morning.
The boy was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by the SUV, Land Cruiser, driven by Saif near the Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan's college at around 6 pm, police said adding Shakil received minor injuries as the vehicle was at a slow speed.After the accident, Saif himself informed the D N Nagar police station.
