The next day everyone wakes up and gather in the living room after having breakfast to discuss the days plans, Aryan is standing by the window, he looks outside then turns around
Ar - the day looks good, Karan can you just check todays weather please?
KK - yeah we don't want to go to the beach and come back early because it gets cold or starts to rain
Kar - sure
Karan messes around on his phone
Kar - brilliant...clear sunny blue skies til the evening
Ri - fabulous! so shall we go get ready?
Ar - yeah, don't be too long about it.....beautiful
Aryan winks at Ria, she blushes and the others start to giggle, Aryan glares at the others
Ar - come on then...lets go get changed
The others run off before Aryan can hit them, Aryan looks at Ria and pulls her closer to him, he holds her by her waist and grins at her
Ar - so, what you going to wear?
Ri - why? plan to match?
Ar - possibly
Ri - in that case....I might be wearing blue
Ar - cool
Aryan leans forward and kisses her softly, he's about to go deeper when he hears someone clear their throat, he scowls and looks up to find Kk standing by the stairs
KK - wasn't it bad enough seeing Karan and Tia romancing that I have to see you guys do it as well
Ar - shut up KK
KK - ok ok...by the way, weren't you supposed to come and get changed
Ri - he's right
Ria pulls away from Aryan and goes upstairs, Aryan groans and glares at KK
Ar - what's a guy got to do to get some alone time with his girlfriend?
KK - get a room
KK runs upstairs and Aryan goes after him, they all get changed and come downstairs, KK notices Ria and Tia holding bags in their hands
KK - what's in there?
Ri - hello we're going to the beach aren't we?
KK - yeah so?
T - so we're bound to go swimming, and the last thing we want is to ruin our clothes, so these are our swimsuits, and towels and extra clothing in case these do get dirty
KK - oh ok...
Roshni comes in from the kitchen holding a backpack, KK looks at her
KK - and what's in there?
R - if we're going to be at the beach all day then we're going to get hungry, so we should take some food
KK sighs and looks at Aryan who nods his head, he goes to Roshni and takes the bag from her
Ar - Roshni, my little angel, even if we do get hungry we'll just go to a nice cafe or something, there's no need to take all of this...ok? I'll go put this back
Roshni nods her head slowly and lets Aryan takes the food back, Karan hands KK his jacket then puts his on
KK - so Karan, how far is the beach?
Kar - its about a 20 minute drive
KK - cool, I'll drive
Ar - ok guys lets hit the beach
T - hey where's the camera? we should continue the film for everyone at home
Ar - oh yeah I almost forgot, you guys go sit in the car, I'll be out in a second
He turns to go but stops
Ar - oh and...I'm sitting with Ria...
KK - well guess that leaves me sitting with Roshni
R - why's that?
KK - Karan's sitting with Tia...Aryan's sitting with Ria so we're left
R - ahh I see...lets go
The others go outside while Aryan goes upstairs and fetches the camera, he checks if the battery is full then goes downstairs, locks up and sits in the back of the jeep with Ria, KK plugs in the name of the beach into the Sat Nav and the directions come up and he drives to the beach, Roshni keeps glancing at him which annoys him, he looks at her for a second the speaks quietly
KK - why do you keep looking at me for?
R - because....
KK - because what?
R - ...you look nice today
KK is taken aback, he chuckles for a second then smiles at her
KK - thanks, you look nice too
Roshni smiles at him and looks out of the window, KK looks at her for a brief moment then continues to drive. Soon enough they arrive at the beach, KK parks the car and they all get out and he locks it, Aryan looks around then looks at the others
Ar - last one to the water has to cook dinner tonight
They all look at each other for a second then go running off towards the water, Aryan reaches there first with KK and Karan behind him, Tia reaches next then Roshni then lastly Ria, she frowns and folds her arms, Aryan's heart melts, he goes behind her and slips his arms around her waist and kisses her neck softly
Ar - don't worry, I'll make dinner
Ria grins and turns around and kisses him
Ri - thanks! Tia, Roshni, come lets find a nice place to sit down
Ria, Tia and Roshni walk off, Aryan smiles watching her go, he glances at KK who is frowning at him, he looks at him
Ar - what?
KK - that....what you did....saying "last one there has to cook dinner"....then telling Ria you'll cook....just because she's your girlfriend and she got upset....was pathetic
Ar - whatever....did you bring a football or something?
Kar - nah...couldn't find one
Ar - do you mind looking around and seeing if theres any shops nearby who sell them?
Kar - sure
The guys jog up to the girls who are sitting on the beach with their things, Karan pulls Tia up
Kar - we're going to see if we can find a football shop or something, we'll be back in a second
They're about to leave when KK stops them, he takes out some money from his wallet and hands it to Karan who takes it and leaves, KK sits on the beahc next to Roshni, Ria stands up
Ri - I want to change in to my swimsuit and go swimming
Ar - I think there's some stalls over there, you can change there
Ria picks up her bag and looks at Aryan who smiles and offers to go with her, she happily accepts and he takes her to the stalls, Roshni is looking out at the sea, KK looks at her
KK - aren't you going to get changed?
R - I'm not going to go in the water, I'll probably stay here and looks after the things and film you guys
KK - ...do you want me to stay with you?
R - no, I'll be ok
Aryan comes back and sits next to KK
KK - where's Ria?
Ar - she's coming
A few minutes later Ria comes back in her two peice swimsuit, KK whistles and Aryan angrily stands up looking at her while she puts her bag down
Ar - what are you wearing?
Ri - my swimsuit
Ar - yeah I see that....
Ri - what's wrong with it?
Ar - what? didn't you find any other smaller ones? what the hell Ria...if you dress like that then guys are going to come after you
Ri - hello....there's no one here but us
Aryan looks confused, Ria nods her head and Aryan looks around, KK chuckles and Aryan kicks him lightly
Ar - oh well.....ok then
Ri - yeah...besides we're at a beach...what else am I meant to wear?
Ar - ok ok chill
Ri - are you coming in the water?
Ar - yeah give me a second
Ria walks off towards the water, Aryan looks at Roshni
Ar - did you bring a spare pair of 3/4 shorts?
R - sorry Bhai....you never said
Ar - ok...
Aryan quickly slips off his 3/4 trousers revealing his boxers, he then pulls his t shirt over his head and leaves them lying on the ground by Roshni, he then runs off to the water, Roshni picks his clothes up and puts them in Ria's bag
KK - I could imagine Tia and Karan....but never those two
Roshni looks at him and find shim staring out at the water, she looks in his direction and sees Aryan and Ria splashing each other with water, she smiles
R - I guess he's always liked her
KK - he hid it well
KK glances at her
KK - so did you...
Roshni bites her bottom lip and continues looking out at Aryan and Ria
KK - would you have told me?
Roshni looks at him
KK - if I never asked you, would you have told me?
R - probably not
KK - so you would have spent your whole life married to soem dude yet still in love with me and you still wouldn't tell me?
R - probably...
KK - and what if by chance I loved you back...but thought you didn't love me so I never said anything.....and with you not telling me....what would you have done then?
R - nothing I guess, if you and me are meant to be then we'll get together, if not then I'll have someone else in my destny
KK - you really believe that?
R - why not? mama and papa always tell me stories of how they fell in love and how your parents fell in love...and Tia's parnts...can you imagine if papa had fallen in love with your mom instead my mom...then?
KK - no way.....
R - yes way....didn't your mom ever tell you that she used to like papa? that was of course until she met your dad
KK - seriously?
R - yeah! see if Kripa aunty never met Angad chachu, she'd probably still be in love with papa....and who knows maybe papa could have fallen in love with her.....but he didn't because he was destined to be with mama and Kripa aunty was destined to be with Angad chachu
KK - maybe.....by the way what else do you know about how our parents fell in love?
R - I remember papa telling me that when he wanted to go out on his first date with mama that Kripa aunty told her to say no.....so she did and sent Kripa aunty instead...so papa sent Angad chachu.....
KK grins, Roshni continues telling him their parents' love stories until KK gets hit by a ball, he scowls and looks to the side and sees Karan looking shocked
Kar - sorry bro!
KK - what took you guys so long?
T - oh we couldn't find a shop nearby
Tia sits next to Roshni
Kar - bro come on, stop sitting downa nd lets go in the water
KK - you sound like you're 5....but ok lets go
Karan pulls KK up and both of them take their shorts and t shirts off and run to the water where Ria and Aryan and busy kissing, they jump into the water and start splashing them both, when they realise they splash them back, Roshni gets the camera out and begins to film them, after a while they come out, Tia gives them towels and they dry them selves, Ria changes in to her spare clothes while the guys put their clothes back on then football for a while but notice Ria and Tia are looking bored so they begin to play volleyball with Aryan and Ria against Tia and Karan while KK sits on the beach being the umpire, Roshni films them, after a while KK takes over. Aryana nd Ria easily beat Karan and Tia, after the game they all have a walk around to find a good place to eat
Kar - hey that place looks good, lets go there
Karan points at a cafe, they all go to walk there but Ria stops Aryan
Ri - you're not going to fight or anything are you?
Ar - no I won't
Ri - promise?
Ar - promise
Ria grins and goes inside with him, they sit down with the others and begin to eat, Roshni is sitting with KK, she nudges him
KK - what?
R - I want to watch the sunset
KK - now?
R - no...it should be in an hour
KK - so watch it
R - but Bhai said we're going back after we eat...and I want to stay at the beach to watch it...please
KK nods his head, he waits until everyone's eatenn and are walking towards the jeep, Roshni loks at him pleadingly, he nods his head at her and nudges Aryan
KK - is it ok if we stay for a while?
Ar - why?
KK glances at Roshni who shakes her head
KK - I just don't want to go back yet....
Kar - it's going to be dark soon
KK - yeah we're grown ups...we can handle it...so...
Ar - ok then
T - but I'm tired
Ri - me too
Aryan looks at Ria then at KK
KK - how about you guys sit in the jeep, me and Roshni will go for a walk on the beach, then we'll come back
Ar - I dunno...
KK - Aryan come on....let Ria and Tia rest in the jeep with you guys
Kar - come on Aryan let him...we'll stay in the jeep until he comes back
Ar - ok...don't take my sister too far
KK nods his head, the others sit in the car while KK and Roshni walk off, when they're out of sight of the others she hugs KK
R - thanks a lot KK
KK pulls back
KK - its ok...so shall we sit down and watch the sunset?
R - yeah
They find a rock and lean against it watching the sunset, KK looks at Roshni and sees how mesmerised she is, she keeps watching the sunset and he keeps watching her, when the sun has set she looks at him
R - that was beautiful wasn't it?
KK looks confused, he looks towards the sun
KK - it set?
R - yeah just now....weren't you watching?
KK - lets say I saw something better worth looking at
Roshni shakes her head and both of them go back to the jeep and Aryan drives back to the cottage.
